Chapter 1 - chapter 1:A world without colour

I never believed in love.

For me, life was always simple—wake up, go through the day, smile when needed, and hide everything else behind silence. People often said the world is full of colors, but to me, everything felt the same… dull and empty.

Until the day I met him.

It was an ordinary evening, just like any other. The sky was fading into soft shades of orange and pink, but I barely noticed. I was walking home, lost in my thoughts, when someone suddenly called out my name.

I turned around.

And there he was.

I didn't know then that this one moment would change everything—that he would bring colors into my world I never even knew existed.

Or that loving him would be the most beauti

2.

I didn't expect to see him again.

But life, it seems, had other plans.

The next morning, as I walked into college, I saw him standing near the entrance, laughing with his friends. There was something different about him—something warm, something comforting.

Before I could look away, his eyes met mine.

And he smiled.

It wasn't just a normal smile. It was soft, genuine… the kind that makes you feel seen. For a moment, everything around me felt lighter, like someone had added a little color to my otherwise plain world.

"Hey," he said, walking towards me like we had known each other for years. "You disappeared yesterday."

I blinked, confused. "I didn't disappear… I just left."

He laughed. "Same thing."

I couldn't help but smile a little.

That was the first time I noticed it—the change. The small, almost invisible shift inside me. The world didn't feel as dull as it used to. The sky looked a little brighter. The air felt softer.

And somehow… I felt lighter too.

We started talking that day. Just simple things—classes, teachers, random jokes. But with him, even silence felt comfortable.

Days turned into weeks, and slowly, he became a part of my everyday life.

He was the yellow in my mornings—the warmth that made me smile without reason.

He was the blue in my calm moments—the peace I never knew I needed.

And little by little, without even realizing it…

He was becoming my favorite color.
