The next morning Nero woke up surprisingly more refreshed than he had ever been, even though he had spent the night in the training space with Yumi both his mind and body felt better than ever before
"Morning Nero" came Aurathia's voice from in front of him, looking down he saw her doing push ups on the floor in front of the sofa
"Morning, um, what are you doing?" Nero asked
"Can't you tell, I'm doing push ups, your room doesn't have enough floor space for me to be able to do this so I came out here to do them" Aurathia answered as she switched from full hand push ups to finger push ups
"Ok... but why are you doing push ups in the first place?" Nero continued
"I wouldn't be the goddess of training if I didn't keep up my training everyday like this" she said now switching to handstand push ups "you should join me, as part of my Familia I won't allow you to be weak" she said with an asking tone but the look in her eyes made sure that Nero knew that it was more of a soft order
"Fine, but don't expect me to be able to do push ups like the ones you're doing" Nero said, looking at her now doing one handed hand stand push ups
"I don't expect you to.... yet" Aurathia said with a mischevious grin
After doing some early morning training with Aurathia which seemed even more intense than what Yumi had put him through the night before Nero made some breakfast for the 2 of them as his dad was the kind of person who would sleep until he had to and due to his diner being half a bar nobody ever came for breakfast and so he didn't even bother opening until after midday
"It's good to know that I have the morning to do all the training that I want but your father really should get some exercise, he's not exactly that healthy looking" Aurathia stated as she dug into the food Nero had prepared
"Go ahead and tell him that yourself" Nero sighed "last time I told him something similar he put me in a headlock and told me that he was still healthy enough to kick my scrawny ass"
"Well I'll make sure to change you from a scrawny figure to someone strong in no time" Aurathia smiled "and if I don't the dungeon will do it for me"
"Speaking of the dungeon I should get going" Nero declared as he finished up his food "can I rely on you to do the dishes?"
"Sure, the food was good enough to warrent me doing the dishes" replied Aurathia with her mouth still full
"Thank you Aurathia-sama" Nero replied
"Just Aura is fine, I'm not one who cares for titles or anything like that" she replied with a wave as if shooing him away "now go make us some money, I want to get a place with a proper room and a big garden for me to be able to properly train in" she said half joking, half serious
"I'll do my best, Aura-san" Nero chuckled before leaving "a quick stop before I go though" he mumbled to himself
"Welcome" announced the stores cashier
"Do you sell any kunai here?" Nero asked
"We have started stocking them after Takemikazuchi moved here, he buys them in bulk and some fledgeling adventurers think that they look cool, why would you like one?" smiled the cashier
"2 please" Nero said, using the money he had got as tips from working in the diner to pay for them
"Thank you for your purchase" replied the cashier as he handed over a bag with the 2 kunai in it
"Time to see if I can weild these as well as Yumi did" Nero said as he walked towards the tower in the middle of the city
Arriving at the tower Nero looked up at it as he had done many times before "I always would come here but never went in due to not having the falna or the guts to go inside, it seems like that has changed" he smiled as he made his way inside
Heading down to the first floor of the dungeon Nero's first thought was that he hoped that the system got him someone with nightvision at some point as although it wasn't to bad it would be easier with it and that the dungeon would get darker as he went
"So, where is my first opponent to deal with?" Nero wondered as he wandered around, the dungeon answering his question seconds later
"A goblin huh, just like the ones that Yumi dealt with but this one is on its own, I should be able to deal with it" he thought, holding the kunai in his hands in the same way that he had seen Yumi weild them the night before
The goblin charged straight at Nero, it's movements simple and easy to follow, as it got close Nero moved to the side dodging its strike before passing the kunai's blade through the goblins neck, ending it's life in a single swing
"That was easier than I expected" Nero commented, only to regret it seconds later as 5 more goblins turn the corner to see him standing there "ah, jinxed myself there"
A few minutes later Nero had taken down all the goblins while managing to only sustain a single scrape
"Got a bit cocky with that last one" he groaned, regretting using it to try and improve his dodging skills only to trip on a rock and end up in a awkwards situation where the goblin nearly got him but was able to still defeat it after it missed its strike after tripping on the same rock and only managing to scratch his cheek
"I also hope I get someone to train me to use some kind of magic that makes it so that I don't have to pick up and carry all these things" Nero moaned as he collected all of the magic stones "still it's good to know that killing these monsters count to my next gacha" he noted, seeing a energy bar that seemed to have filled up everytime he had killed one of the goblins, only a tiny amount being filled by the 6 goblins he had managed to take out
"Looks like it's going to be a while before I get someone else to be able to train me and get the abilities that I want" he sighed as he continued further into the dungeon.
