At some point—Milady had long since lost all track of time—Luo Geng suddenly seized an opportunity. He rolled away from the grapple, and as he scrambled to his feet, he also snatched up the "Bunch of Flowers" mechanism, which had fallen to the ground at some point.
He seemed just as surprised that Milady could resist so fiercely. His face was stained with blood and muddy water, and strands of his curly hair hung down over his eyes.
