As a special treat for the crew of the Night Castle, the Wandering Circus enthusiastically announced they would quickly set up their venue and hold a private show just for them.
As dusk fell, most of the crew eagerly made their way to a large, grassy field outside Shibu County. The field, usually dark and desolate, was now twinkling with starlight and lamplight. The sound of drums and music drifted through the air, where tents of all sizes had been pitched. The scent of fresh grass mingled with the aroma of roasting marshmallows, carried on the fire-lit breeze.
"Adventurers from the sea, please enjoy the festivities!" the circus ringmaster announced from a high platform. "In thirty minutes, our circus will present a display of our troupe's unique talents—a performance we guarantee you'll remember for the rest of your lives!"
