A white-haired old man and woman walked through the gates of the Garden, followed by twelve other people, all seeming to be from different races.
"Welcome grandpa, grandma." Jacob turned to face Alaric and Esty. The first person he caught wind of was Lucien, who floated casually behind them, seemingly uninterested in his environment.
He floated with his hand behind his back, his long white garment flailing in the wind. Without Lucien's knowledge, Jacob made a sign to Alaric, who nodded in response as a way of showing that he understood the boy.
"Jacob! You look amazing! Is it just me or did you grow even more handsome after leaving the castle?" Esty exclaimed as she hugged her grandson tighter than she ever had.
"I just have good genes grandma." Jacob responded with a smile as the woman pinched his cheeks.
"That you do boy, that you do." Alaric added.
