"Alright, knock it off. It's time to get ready to go on stage!" said a man who appeared to be the leader.

"Oh!" At his command, the other three finally shut their mouths.

"Alright, esteemed guests, I believe our wedding is just about ready to begin! So, if you would all be so kind as to lend me a few minutes of silence, please?"

The MC stepped onto the stage, speaking with a highly humorous and energetic tone.

The moment he spoke, the crowd immediately quieted down.

"We all know that today is the big day for Mr. Baishui. Therefore, I won't waste your time with any unnecessary nonsense. Let's get straight to it and invite our groom, Mr. Baishui, and our bride, Ms. Aqi, to the stage!"

The MC's words were incredibly concise, a complete departure from the usual rambling style of most wedding hosts.

However, there was a reason for this: Baishui didn't like overly complicated things. Long speeches made the guests uncomfortable, made him uncomfortable, and made the MC uncomfortable trying to come up with them. Since it made everyone miserable, why force it? There was simply no need.

Baishui walked onto the stage and took the Transponder Snail from the MC's hand. It was directly connected to the broadcasting system, amplifying his voice across the venue.

Once Aqi was escorted out, he took her hand, their fingers tightly intertwined.

"Well, first of all, thank you all so much for being here. I truly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to attend my wedding. Thank you!"

Baishui gave a deep bow to the assembled crowd.

"In all my life, the thing I, Longer Baishui, have feared most is loneliness. But fate, it seems, loves to play jokes on me. Before I turned seventeen, I spent my days entirely alone, bored out of my mind!"

"That's right. With nothing else to do, I could only train my martial arts just to pass the time!"

"So, perhaps I actually owe my current achievements to those lonely days!"

"Kuro Island was the very first island I encountered in my life after setting sail."

"There, I met many people. And among them, I met the most important person in my life—Aqi, my wife-to-be!"

As he spoke, Baishui looked at Aqi for a few seconds, his face full of absolute adoration. Under his gaze, Aqi blushed deeply and shyly lowered her head.

He continued, "Looking back on that time, it's actually pretty funny."

"A boy who was starving so badly his stomach was touching his spine, and a girl running for her life from a crew of pirates... Under the arrangement of fate, the two of them met!"

"Later, the boy fell in love with the girl, and the girl found her heart filled with affection for the boy. Just like that, they came together, building a little house on that island that belonged exclusively to them!"

"The boy absolutely hated being alone. So, once he had his heart set on the girl, he became incredibly attached to her. As long as he didn't have to travel far, he insisted on sticking by her side every second of the day!"

"Occasionally, the boy would take the girl out on trips, but it seemed like rarely did they ever have a peaceful outing. If they weren't being attacked by pirates, they were being harassed by Sea Kings."

"But the girl still had a wonderful time, because everything was so new and exciting to her!"

"After the boy took the girl to explore the entirety of the East Blue, he brought her into the Grand Line, and they continued to have the time of their lives."

"During this time, the boy met new friends and mentors. His feelings of loneliness grew weaker and weaker, and the smiles on his face grew more and more frequent!"

"He became more and more like a normal person."

"The affection between the boy and the girl steadily deepened, and as they grew older, they soon reached the age of marriage!"
