The repair store was slowly turning into ash. All of Charlie's family's hard work, just gone to last in a matter of hours. All from the hands, of people like traitor #1, and traitor #1. Right off the bat, she despised the both of them. When Lukas noticed it, he immediately started hating her too. Drew was just worried about her, not knowing what was going through her mind right now!
"How, dare you! Both of you! How could you be a part of this monster's group, how could you!!" Charlie screamed at both Arthur, and Ethan. "I trusted you guys to be good people, but instead, you're all just rancid" Arthur was starting to lose his patience with her.
"Are you fucking kidding me…? I just saved you from burning alive!" Arthur said. "Also, what makes you think I'm anything like this guy?" He points to Lukas, who was pissed off at how much shade he's unnecessarily getting. Then he realised that there might be more people to save, so he leaves without another word. Ethan also follows him in his escapade, but Drew decides to stay behind, and carry the two of them back to the car. Charlie tried to protest, but Drew was having none of that right now.
Lukas could smell death and ash all around him. He thought that this sight would be horrible for him, but it wasn't really too bad. Even with all the burned up corpses scattered around the place. Ethan wasn't holding up too well though, making Lukas have to guide him through the place sometimes when a bunch of bodies were in his peripheral vision.
"WOW! YOU FUCKING SUCK AT THIS KID!"
Someone from around where the town square was shouting at what seemed to be a little kid. Lukas and Ethan picked up the pace immensely. Then they heard some gunshots ringing out from that very same area, and started to sprint their way over there at top speed. Not even caring about all the people around them anymore, they didn't matter. Since, of course, there was someone they could save.
They make it over to where the fountain was in town square, and were horrified to see Braxton being drowned by someone, that by the looks of things, Ethan knew who she was. She had long, matted and messy hair, going down to her shoulder blades. Her hands were covered in burns, scratches and stab marks all of them. Some were way more recent than others. Water was splashing all over the place, sometimes putting out little fires encroaching on their business. Braxton was struggling heavily, with him not being able to breathe, nor fight back at all, he was just too weak. There was also Izzy, slouched on the fountain with a big gaping slash on her stomach. Luckily she was somehow still alive, god knows how that worked out.
"Anna!" She turns around, to see that the Ethan kid, and someone else were staring her down with hatred. "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Ohh, shit! Hi Ethan, how's the tomboy look treating ya?" Anna said, which made sense in Lukas' eyes. Being the fact that Ethan was already a dude to begin with. "I said you got another f-slur friend with your group now! That's great for you!" Ethan's fists were shaking, and blood started seeping through his palms a little bit. Lukas also gave her the middle finger once he heard that.
Anna's grip tightened around Braxton's throat once again, after realising it was faltering.
Water kept entering his lungs, making them feel like they were on fire. The constant adrenaline flowing through his bones wasn't really helping much, only making him short circuit on figuring out something.
"This little shithead right here, was trying to stop my plans! Can you believe that?!" Anna says. "So I had to teach him a lesson, on not snooping with station duties! You understand where I'm getting at, right?" Ethan calmed himself down forcefully, and walked a little bit closer to her.
"What was your guys' plan anyway…?" Ethan asked.
"Some of those prisoners from the camp nearby, tried to hide away here! So I just decided to burn down this stupid ass town to teach them all a lesson—wait." Anna takes another look at Lukas, and finally realises who he is. "Why is this traitor here…" She questioned Ethan, who looked like he wanted to murder her on sight. "Oh him…? He's a part of station #52 Of course, we have to stick together…" Ethan explains. "What station are you a part of anyway…?"
"That's none of your business, traitor…" Anna accused. "We can't have you guys around, if your just gonna allow violent criminals out into the wild—"
"But they aren't! Most if not all of them, we screwed over by this country!" Ethan defended.
"Most of them are. Most of them were horrible people that deserved this. And most of them should be tortured for their atrocities at the stake. Like the monsters they are…" Anna walks over to where Lukas was standing, and puts a switch blade to his throat. Completely forgetting all about Braxton. "Why shouldn't I slit your throat right now… once people find you, they might do the same thing, or worse…" Lukas was not liking her condescending nature towards him. Who is she to just throw around the word monster like that. Acting like she's so much better than him, it was disgusting to taste.
Just then, Braxton got up out of the fountain, and started violently coughing up blood and water. The noise attracted the attention of all three of them, and Anna chuckled a little bit.
"Oh look at you! Getting back up so quickly…! How about we play with fire next little boy—" Braxton comes up to her, and tries to punch her, but of course, that wouldn't work at all. She grabbed his fist, before he could do anything, and straight up threw him all the way back into the fountain, making a little splash as he hit the water. She was going to continue, but a bloodied, and bruised Izzy grabbed onto her waist from behind. Anna tried to force her way out, but Izzy was strong as shit for some reason.
"Hey! Let go of me! Farm girl!" Anna kept hitting Izzy in the stomach, whilst trying to wiggle her way out like a worm. Ethan was currently trying to get Braxton out of the fountain, and Lukas didn't really know what to do, he didn't know if he should hit Anna or not. He then took another second to think.
*PUNCH!
Anna's head shot to the right violently, with Lukas' punch being really strong also. "I'm not a bad guy, you are" Lukas finally said something.
