Chapter 1 - perfect.

" It is over for you... child Who plays with time..."

Time is a fundamental concept-the dimension through which events unfold, form the past to the present, and into the future.

Life itself is nothing more than a fleeting sequence: we are born, and we die. It was within this unchangeable order that Georges lost his grandfather.

As his life came to an end, the old man handed him a watch, whispering in a frail voice:

— Georges...I entrust this watch to you...it will be of great use to you.

The boy accepted the gift without truly understanding its significance, seeing it as nothing more than an ordinary objet. And yet, a strange feeling had already begun to weigh upon his heart.

Ten years later, Georges had grown.

He had bwilt for himself a simple, almost peaceful routine : running each day along a mountain trail in California. But one day, that routine would collapse into the irreversible.

As he ran beside his friend Smith, a cougar appeared-silent, sudden, and deadly.

— Georges...we should leave... Smith whispered, his voice trembling.

Fear seized them. They stepped back, then turned to flee. But the animal leapt with terrifying speed and seized Smith.

— Ah... ahhhh...! Georges ! Help me !

Frozen with terror, Georges could not move.Unable to act, he ran away, abandoning his friend to his fate.

When he returned help, it was already too late. Smith lay lifeless on the ground.

The tragedy sent shockwaves through everyone. Smith's family placed the blame squarely on Georges :

— You killed my son... Murderer!

Rejected by all, consumed by guilt, Georges slowly unraveled. Even at the funeral, he was unwelcome–driven away, humiliated, left alone with his regret.

Until the day everything changed.

Struck by a car, he collapsed. With his final breath, he whispered:

— No...this can't be...

Then, the watch began to glow. A blinding light enveloped him.

When he opened his eyes...he was no longer where he had been.

Time itself had fractured.

Trapped within an endless loop, Georges relived the same events over and over again.

Little by little, he understood: the watch allowed him to turn back time.

Determined to correct his mistake, he faced the cougar and managed to drive it away...yet Smith still died later at the hospital.

Fate, it seemed, could not be altered.

So Georges made a choice.

He went further back. To the very day it all began.

— We're not going running today, he said simply.

Smith, surprised, agreed without protest.

For the first time...he was saved.

Georges slowly approached him, his eyes filled with emotion, and embraced him, overwhelmed with relief to see him alive.

But suddenly... everything changed.

The world dissolved into a vast, blinding white.

A voice echoed:

— Child of instability...it is over for you...

Before him stood a man dressed in white, perfecty still.

— I am the past, the present, and the future. I am the master of time... the guardian of the balance of space and time.

Georges, shaken, whispered:

— Then...is this my judgment ?

— Yes.

A shiver ran through him.

— Logic is meant to be irreversible...yet humans always try to correct their mistakes.

That is what did.

The master of time replied, his voice steady:

— Some things are irreparable. And when one tries to fix them at all costs, they disrupt the natural order.

He continued:

— You sought to save your friend...yet he died. And in your persistence to change what could not be changed... you brought about your own end.

Georges lowered his gaze, then spoke calmly:

— If logic demands my death...then I accept it. I acted according to my conscience.

The master of time concluded:

— It is over for you... child Who plays with time...

A blinding light consumed him.

Georges vanished.

But in a world where time had never been disturbed...

Smith was still alive.

The End.
