Min-woo's apartment smelled like leftover instant noodles and the particular staleness of a room that had been closed up all day, curtains still drawn against the afternoon light when Jae-min let himself in.
"You look like you haven't slept," Jae-min said, dropping onto the couch beside him.
"I haven't. I've been thinking."
"That's dangerous for you."
Min-woo threw a couch cushion at his head without looking up from his phone. "Shut up and listen. I've been going over the plan."
Jae-min sobered slightly, settling back against the cushions. "Which part."
"The exposure angle." Min-woo set his phone down, turning to face him properly. "That was always supposed to be phase one, right? Once we had enough on him—enough proof of who he actually is, who he's with—we leak it. Let the whole world see the perfect Kang heir isn't so perfect. Let his father deal with the fallout of a scandal he can't buy his way out of."
"Right."
