The northern access point to the Seongsu tunnel looks exactly like what it is... a disused maintenance hatch in the floor of a parking structure that nobody has thought about in at least a decade.
The hatch itself is rusted at the hinges. The lock is the kind that security upgraded past fifteen years ago and never came back to replace. There is a drain next to it that smells faintly of something Yeon Yujun chooses not to examine, and a strip light overhead that buzzes in a way that suggests it's been doing so for so long it's become part of the building's personality.
"Hm, charming," Chae Yuna sarcastically remarks.
"It gets better," Seo Hwigeon says, crouching to examine the lock.
"Ah, does it?"
"No," Seo Hwigeon admits. "But it gets more interesting."
