Volume 0: The World Before Us

Every story begins long before the two leads meet.

It begins with the people who shape them.

Arjun's Circle

Arjun was never alone—and he never had to be.

At the center of his life were his three closest friends:

Kabir – sharp-tongued, sarcastic, and impossible to ignore. He said things others wouldn dare to, but his loyalty to Arjun was unquestionable.

Rohan – calm, composed, and the voice of reason. When emotions ran high, he was the one who thought clearly.

Vivaan - charming, playful, and always the heart of every plan. He turned ordinary moments into memories.

They weren't just friends.

They were a constant.

At home, Arjun's world was just as full:

Aman – his younger brother. Same blood, but quieter, more observant. He understood people in ways Arjun often didn't.

Kunal – the energetic cousin who never let a dull moment exist.

Dev – the mature one, someone Arjun looked up to even if he never admitted it aloud.

Arjun's life was loud, warm, and filled with people who stayed.

Darini's Circle

Darini's world was different—smaller, quieter, carefully chosen.

She didn't believe in having many people around her.

She believed in having the right ones.

Her circle was limited to four:

Meera – gentle and deeply understanding. She was in a committed relationship with Aditya, a man who brought stability and comfort into her life.

Sana – bold and unapologetic. She spoke what others avoided. Her boyfriend Karan matched her intensity—protective, confident, and fiercely devoted.

Ishita – practical and grounded. She didn't let emotions cloud her judgment.

Naina – silent yet perceptive. She noticed everything, spoke little, but when she did, it mattered.

They were few, but they were enough.

And then there was—

Riya, Darini's younger sister.

Beautiful in a way the world easily admired. Fair, lively, and carefree. But beneath that charm, she was naive—sometimes too trusting, sometimes unaware of the depth life could hold.

She lived lightly.

The way Darini never could.

Two Different Worlds

One built on loud laughter and endless connections.

The other built on silence, caution, and survival.

One never learned how to be alone.

The other never learned how to depend.

They hadn't met yet.

But everything and everyone around them

was already shaping the story they were about to become.
