On the way to Clara's house the rain beats on the car like
forgotten memories. Anne Faith said, "We have to remember what exactly went
down in that church. In order to piece all this together for aunt Clara and
Elijah." Marietta said, "I know but the
thing is all I remember are bits and pieces. Like that cursed mirror and how
that creep-o Dan tried to make us use it." Anne Faith said, "All I remember is
us almost being sucked into the church's depths and something or someone saved
us." They arrive at Clara's house. Wind-chimes trickle in the wind, as they
knock on Clara and Elijah's door. After 3 knocks the door creaks open slightly.
And Elijah said, "Oh… it's nice seeing you girls again… why are you here?"
Marietta said, something's happened and we needed to talk to our aunty Clara
Elijah.
Elijah said, "That's fine we'll come on in girls, Clara will
be right out she's brushing her teeth. What's going on now?"
Marietta holds her breath for a second while Anne Faith
feels a chill crawl up her spine, as something on the kitchen table catches her
eye. Anne Faith said, it's cold in here.
Clara comes out and said, What is that stupid pendant doing
here still Elijah? How many times do I have to tell you it brings up back bad
memories. Elijah said, "Sorry love, just was cleaning out the attic and found
that old thing, still can't believe… That pendant almost took me over." Clara
thank God Mary… Marietta interrupted Clara what was that name you just wanted
to say? It sounds familiar. Clara said, "I was saying Mary….. Mary, I'm so glad
you're here Marietta. Clara gets flustered while trying to remember a name that
is on the tip of her tongue but gone from existence. Dang what is that name I
can't remember it! Anyways Anne Faith how are you and your sister haven't seen
you for ages… Anne Faith said, "Since we were babies I know. But we didn't come
here for that, we came here so you can tell us who this jagged cross belongs
too it was in our car?" Marietta pulls out the jagged cross of Maryanne, and as
she does a cold chill crawls up all there spines. Marietta said, "Who's cross
is this aunty? We have a feeling whoever's it is they were really close to our
family." Clara saw the cross and immediately has a flashback to Jesse, and Vows
Deaths. Her heart beats faster and tears swell up, she snaps. Clara said, "I
can't quite put my finger on whoever it is but I'll tell you it brought back
memories of my past with Elijah." Elijah said "Are you sure that's not one of
yours girls?" The girls emphatically answer no. Elijah said, "Then who's could
it be?" Anne Faith pronounced "Well we didn't tell you the last thing that
happened to us. There was this guy Dan a
guy I remember used to stalk us too. And he tried to make us use each-other."
Marietta said, "Yeah he trapped me and my sister in the basement and we barely
made it out by the skin of our teeth, he tried to kill us."
Anne Faith said, "Well anyways we ended up in this old
abandoned church with that guy Dan, and this Mirror that was passed down
through our family. Actually I don't know where the Mirror came from all I
remember is he held it up and called forth an ancient creature. Than the church
started crumbling into pieces. After we barely made it out alive, Marietta and
I prayed and both saw a vision of 2 different orbs of light. Resting into an
endless tunnel." Marietta said, I don't remember much more or any less than
what you're hearing aunty Clara."
Clara and Elijah both grin out of curiosity. Clara said, "Wait
what you almost died? Where's your moth… Clara has whiplash of a vision of
Elijah drowning in sorrow at Minnie's and Roman's old apartment. Clara
remembers Elijah saying Grace is dead." I don't know where, or what you girls
are doing here… But it's making me uncomfortable, and quite frankly have a
panic attack. Clara starts breathing heavily and forces Marietta and Anne Faith
out the door quickly. Clara said, "I can't deal with this right now, not on my
wedding anniversary, come back when you remember more. Clara shuts the door on
them with a instinctual feeling of unfinished business and a fading memory of
her once beloved sister Maryanne."
