Chapter 37 - classroom confrontation and mansion prank

## Chapter 37 (Continued): Classroom Confrontations and Mansion Pranks

Almost immediately, four girls marched up to her desk. Without a word, they thrust their cell phones directly into Lucy's face. The screens were all lit up with crystal-clear photographic evidence: Lucy and Kim-Jo kissing, Seo-Joon blowing her a kiss, and Lee-Dae giving his goofy thumbs-up.

Lucy didn't panic. She simply looked at the screens and smiled calmly.

The leader of the group, glaring down at her, crossed her arms. "Lucy... I never imagined that you, a black slave pretending to be a nun, could actually be a slut. How did you get those handsome boys flocking around you? Did you use a spell? I thought you had a boyfriend named Cha-Woo. Are you cheating on your boyfriend? Don't you think he would be *so* mad at you for cheating on him?"

Lucy scoffed and rolled her eyes. Never had she gotten such huge crowds paying attention to her. *"Damn you brats,"* she muttered under her breath, letting out a heavy sigh.

"So what? What does that have to do with you?" Lucy asked, her brow furrowing into a deep frown. "You should think about how you will pass this exam instead of butting into someone else's business that doesn't require your certificate to work in."

"What?!" the leader yelled in anger.

"And also, if you wish to know about Cha-Woo—thanks to him, I met my fated one," Lucy stated plainly. "Because he doesn't know how to appreciate a woman, nor does he understand me. If you are interested in him, have him. After all, he's a leftover."

Lucy deadpanned the delivery, sending a visible shockwave of gasps across the classroom.

The second girl in the group scoffed, her eyes narrowing. "Are you also dating the other guys? The ones in the car?"

Lucy chuckled, calmly straightening her uniform. "No one can get to them except through me. Nobody here is good enough for them, knowing how badly you all treat me just because you are jealous of my beautiful skin. They are all mine, so back off!"

She yelled the last part at them. The girls glared at her in defeated silence before turning on their heels and walking away.

Mu-mu, who had been watching the entire exchange from the door, quietly walked over and sat beside her.

"Lucy, are you dating the Kim-Jo lookalike?" Mu-mu asked softly.

"So what if I am?" Lucy smiled. "I love him. Since I couldn't get the real one, God sent me a gentleman with the exact same looks."

Mu-mu chuckled warmly. "Congratulations, then."

"Thank you," Lucy replied, and they both shared a genuine smile.

Just then, the teacher walked in, and the classroom immediately snapped back to normal.

### Meanwhile, Across Town

The white Range Rover sped into the sprawling courtyard of the BVS mansion. Just as the massive car parked in the garage, the security guards hurried over to open the doors. The BVS kings stepped out, and this time, their idol-trainee personalities and heavy biases were fully showing.

Seo-Joon stared at the grand mansion, smiling from cheek to cheek. "Home sweet home," he exclaimed happily.

Lee-Dae also stared at the building, but his expression lacked Seo-Joon's bubbly excitement. A different emotion crossed his face. "Agreed... but I think I prefer Lucy's house more."

Hearing this, Kim-Jo slowly turned to give Lee-Dae a dark, questioning look.

"Eyes off," Kim-Jo warned protectively.

The two boys instantly burst into loud laughter as they walked into the main building. All the staff were lined up in the massive passage, bowing deeply in unison to welcome their masters.

"Welcome home, sirs!"

"Thank you! Who missed us?" Seo-Joon asked playfully. Every single staff member immediately raised their hands. Lee-Dae chuckled, affectionately patting a few of them on the shoulder as they walked past.

As they reached the second sitting room, Mrs. Oh-Ni approached them carrying a silver tray with chilled, expensive wine and three crystal glasses. She served them with a warm smile.

"Welcome back, boys. How were your off days?"

"Not over yet, Min Oh-Ni," Kim-Jo answered, purposefully using her full name.

Mrs. Oh-Ni sighed loudly, resting her hands on her hips. "I am older than you, lad. Working for you doesn't change anything, you spoiled brat. Lee-Dae, Seo-Joon... call me if you need anything, okay?"

The two boys nodded, hiding their smiles as they watched her walk away. They all sipped their wine, taking a moment to quietly savor the rich flavor.

"Let's go to my room," Kim-Jo announced.

He headed toward his private villa on the left, taking the elevator up. Seo-Joon followed close behind, but Lee-Dae trailed behind slowly. Once inside the massive master suite, Kim-Jo immediately threw himself onto his pristine bed, completely exhausted.

"I missed you, baby," Kim-Jo groaned into the mattress, stretching his limbs out.

*"Baby?!"* Seo-Joon yelled the word in absolute surprise, making Kim-Jo literally jump in shock.

"What?" Kim-Jo asked, looking around the room in utter confusion.

"You called your *bed* 'baby'?" Seo-Joon asked, looking highly offended.

Lee-Dae, having just walked through the doorway, paused. Feeling the heavy, dramatic tension his friend had just created in the room, he crossed his arms and sighed.

"Start explaining," Lee-Dae commanded sternly.

"I don't know!" Kim-Jo stammered, sitting up. "Seo-Joon is acting strange! I don't know what I did. Like, what's wrong with me calling my bed my baby?"

"You called your bed your baby?" Lee-Dae asked, his frown deepening.

"Yes? What's wrong with that?"

"How could you do that? How do you think Lucy will feel if she misunderstood hearing you call your bed *baby*? You are hurting her feelings!"

Lee-Dae and Seo-Joon both yelled at him together, tag-teaming the lecture and forcing Kim-Jo into a corner of complete speechlessness.

After several agonizing seconds of silence, a deeply confused Kim-Jo finally caved. "...I'm sorry. I won't do that again."

Seo-Joon hissed in mock annoyance. "I am going to my bedroom. Call me when you are ready." He spun around and marched out of the room.

"Stupid idiot. I'm so disappointed in you," Lee-Dae added dramatically, shaking his head before following Seo-Joon out the door.

Just as the door clicked shut, Mrs. Oh-Ni walked back in, holding a wooden kitchen spoon and smiling warmly. "Kim-Jo, I am making some soup. Want to learn how to make it?"

Kim-Jo smiled faintly and shook his head. "Not today, Oh-Ni."

"Okay," she answered, politely leaving the deeply depressed idol alone in his room.

Kim-Jo sighed heavily, feeling thoroughly scolded, misunderstood, and incredibly sad.

Just then, the two fully grown boys poked their heads back through his doorway, screaming at the top of their lungs:

**"WE WERE KIDDING! DON'T CRY!"** They completely lost it, bending over in fits of hysterical laughter.

Kim-Jo looked at them, utterly speechless and dumbfounded. These guys were actually going to kill him with their jokes, and it wasn't even funny. He slowly folded his hands into tight fists, sprang off the mattress like a coiled spring, and bolted toward the door.

"I am going to kill you two bastards!"
