The silence following the "Absolute Zero" was not peaceful; it was heavy, like the weight of a mountain pressing down on the lungs. Clevatess stood amidst the frost-covered ruins of what was once a grand hall, his breath hitching in the frigid air.
He looked down at his attire, which had been shredded during the final struggle of the Stained Reality. With a flick of his wrist, a surge of dark, violet mana swirled around him. It didn't just glow; it flowed like liquid silk, weaving together to form a new garment. A high-collared, midnight-black tunic materialized, trimmed with gold embroidery that shimmered like dying stars. Over his shoulders, a mantle of raven feathers settled, held in place by a silver brooch shaped like a screaming dragon. This was the regalia of a King who had seen the abyss and returned.
Beside him, Alicia stirred. Her armor, once bright and polished, was now dented and stained with the soot of battle. She reached for her sword, but her hands trembled.
"You're alive," she whispered, her voice cracking. "But the world... it feels different."
"It is different, Alicia," Clevatess replied, his voice echoing with a low, metallic resonance. "The reality we knew has been rewritten. We are no longer in the shadows of the past."
Suddenly, the air behind them fractured. It wasn't a physical break, but a magical one. A golden light, sharp and blinding, pierced through the violet haze. Out of the rift stepped a figure clad in "Vanguard" plate armor—heavy, white-gold metal etched with ancient runes that pulsed with a rhythmic, holy light. The intruder held a spear that hummed with the sound of a thousand bees, its tip glowing with a heat that began to melt the frost Clevatess had worked so hard to create.
This was the first "Hero" of the new world, and he didn't look like a savior. He looked like an executioner.Nelluru let out a low growl, her small frame tensing as a lime-green aura erupted around her, smelling of fresh ozone and ancient forests. "They found us already," she hissed. "The Absolute Zero... it was like a dinner bell for the vultures."
Clevatess didn't flinch,He raised his hand, and the violet mana around his fingers sharpened into jagged crystalline shards. The air began to vibrate as two opposing forces—the holy gold and the demonic violet—clashed in the center of the room, creating a vacuum that threatened to pull the very walls down.
"You seek a King?" Clevatess asked, a cold smile touching his lips. "Then you shall find one who has nothing left to lose but his pride."The Hero raised his spear, the golden runes on his armor glowing so bright they turned the shadows into scorched silhouettes. The battle for the new world had officially begun.
