Watching as the girl was escorted to the principal's office, Sol finally started to get up from the floor when the system started speaking again.
Its voice, although beautiful, was also incredibly sarcastic.
[Host, due to your concerning amount of failures, I have decided to give you an easy quest this time.]
"Does that mean that you were purposely torturing me before with all those impossible quests"
[The quests the host got previously were things anyone else would have been able to do; the host is just too much of a disappointment to actually complete them]
"…" He said nothing.

Seeing the quest, the only thing he could muster up to say was "ok" as he finally fully got up and went back to class. The janitors gathered to clean up the water on the floor and stop more water from spraying everywhere.
He would try to do the quest at lunch, but for now, he might as well go back to class.
...…
As class ended and the lunch bell rang, he made his way to the cafeteria, or should he have called it a restaurant with how big it was
And the size wasn't just for show either, as the food was just as good as it would be if it were an actual restaurant
The walls were decorated with gold and silver linings, and at the tables, which were made entirely out of old, carved oak wood
there was a device in the middle that you could use to order anything you wanted. It will be brought to you in less than five minutes.
Looking around the cafeteria, Sol found her sitting alone, which was unusual for her.
Although he didn't know her and they had never interacted before, he had seen her around, and he knew she wasn't alone like he was.
She was almost always with friends when she ate or even throughout the day, which, now that he thought about it, was weird that she was also alone when she broke the water fountain
But to be honest, he really couldn't care less
he had nothing else to do with his life, so he might as well just go along with whatever the system asked him to do before he died in two weeks that was all.
So with that in mind he went and sat at the same table as her, using his student credits he got from passing exams to order a simple sandwich as that was the only way he was able to eat today or any other day.
It was a miracle that the school gave out credits for those who achieved the top scores in their past exams as he was one of the only ones in his class to get a full hundred percent.
Seeing him sit opposite her she glanced up for a second looking at him sitting in his uniform covered in patches of his own blood, his face that could be considered slightly above average covered in bruises and him not caring in the slightest as he ordered his food
She only looked at him for a second before completely ignoring him again but a second was all it took for him to see her eyes and take in her beauty fully
Her hair was deep black, cut in a short bob-like style that fell just about her jaw /neck area, she had two black jackal-like ears on her head that gave out a full display that she wasn't human
Her skin was a warm sun-kissed brown that made the uniform she was wearing pop even more
She wore a white collared short-sleeve shirt that pressed against her chest tightly showing an outline of the black lace bra she wore underneath
the shirt was also partially opened at the chest giving a look at the top of her chest and allowing air to flow and cool her down
Clinging onto her thick legs was a short black/ dark navy skirt that sat on her waist holding onto the bottom of her shirt
Coming out from that short skirt was a long black tail that looked like a mix between an African dog's tail and a fluffy cat's tail.
She was eating what looked to be a pasta dish most likely fettuccine Alfredo but she didn't really look like she was enjoying it though as her expression constantly shifted between frustration and hollow acceptance
After he finished ordering his own food he turned to her intending to complete the quest he was given he said
"So.., eating alone today" to which she simply looked up locked eyes with him in his deep empty black eyes, and said
"Leave me alone" her voice was cold and low, packed full of frustration that was struggling to contain itself as she went back to eating

As he heard the ding of the system in his mind he could feel a warm sensation make its way through his muscles and the rest of his body.
The feeling was short-lived but it was like all his soreness was gone in an instant and when it was gone he could feel he had gotten slightly stronger
Not enough to really matter in the grand scheme of things but still stronger
Even though he had gotten shut down immediately to him a win was still a win
And to him that was a "Mission complete, can I go now"
[No]
"And why the hell not"
In response to his question, all he got was a single
