Clementine took Adel to one of her favorite places, one she usually visited alone to eat.
Especially because the food there was quite different from what most people commonly ate.
Different dishes she had never seen or tasted before.
Flavors that melted in her mouth every time she tried them.
And there were still a dozen dishes she had yet to taste.
Clementine walked through an alley with few people, turned several times, and finally stopped.
In front of her was one of the city's hidden restaurants, a place where there were barely any customers.
It was strange, considering the food there was truly delicious.
Soon, she opened the door, and a small bell rang.
The interior was filled with bamboo tables and chairs; lamps similar to Japanese lanterns hung from the ceiling.
There were around ten people in total, and many of them were seated at private tables.
