"Have we heard back from the Primrose Pack yet, or are they still dillydallying?"
"They delivered these contracts this morning, Alpha," Alex, my personal guard, replied, his head tipped in a bow as he handed the document to me.
He was quite huge, his ears always turned red every time I called him a big guy. Maybe his mate called him that.
I sat behind my desk in my study, going through the contract, trying to tie up loose ends before we went off on our honeymoon. My eyes scanned every line; I would replay them in my head later when discussing the contract with Ragnor during the trip.
"Send an email to them stating the contract would be signed when we're back."
"But Alpha, they'll insist that it needs to be signed ASAP,"
I shrugged, dropping the contract on the desk with a flop. "Well they can wait two more weeks. We never sign a contract in a hurry and can't go missing my honeymoon, cause of them, now can I? Whopp their asses if they cause you any trouble, big guy."
