Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Releasing the Video, Stirring Up a Huge Commotion

Rahul's house ultimately sold for ₹1.85 Crores.

Amit, the agent, immediately finalized the paperwork and had both parties sign the initial agreement. Since Rahul's mortgage hadn't been fully cleared, the agency still needed to process the funds to clear the bank debt and handle the various legal hurdles before the final transfer of ownership. The entire process was complicated and would take at least a week.

Fortunately, Rahul had plenty of time. He could live in the apartment for a few more days while he focused entirely on editing his footage.

After the buyers and the agent left, Kabir shook his head and looked at Rahul.

"It's a pity for that guy, but honestly, he doesn't deserve sympathy. He's walking into a disaster with his eyes wide open."

Rahul nodded in deep agreement. "A man who settles for being a fallback option doesn't deserve pity. Kabir, remember this: we men deserve to be treated with respect, too. Don't ever settle for being someone's 'honest' retirement plan."

Kabir gave a wry, self-deprecating smile. "Bhai, if I were as handsome as you, I could afford to have standards like that. But for an ordinary guy like me, without money, no girl is even going to look my way."

"Money gives you courage. In this materialistic society, if you're broke, you lose the right to choose. Even back in my hometown in Punjab, the culture is changing. It's all about the 'package' now."

Rahul stared at his friend, wanting to use his own sudden transformation as a counter-argument, but he knew Kabir wouldn't believe him. Instead, he made a joke of it. "Why don't you actually come with me on the next trip? I'll show you how big the world really is."

"Hahaha," Kabir laughed, shaking his head. "I was just dreaming. Anyway, I need to get to work. Call me if you need a ride."

Once Kabir left, Rahul sat down in front of his workstation. Hundreds of gigabytes of 4K footage from his 3TB memory cards were still transferring. He picked up his phone and sent "Safe Arrival" texts to the four women in Dhaka. Regardless of whether they replied, he took a shower and fell into a deep, dreamless sleep. Long-haul travel was truly exhausting.

By the time he woke up, it was already past 11:00 PM. The progress bar on his computer had vanished; everything was imported. He checked his phone and saw that all four girls had replied with messages full of concern and longing.

Rahul didn't reply yet. He ordered some late-night biryani, washed his face, and sat down at the monitor. He decided to edit one "pilot" video first to test the waters.

As a former top-tier media professional, his editing skills were sharp. He knew exactly how to hook an audience within the first five seconds. He selected the "high-intensity" highlights of his interactions with the four girls—the kisses, the tears, the luxury cars, and the shopping sprees—and condensed them into a ten-second "Coming Up" teaser at the very start.

Next, he recorded a gritty, first-person narration. He used a flashback narrative to describe his arrival in Dhaka, the theft of his wallet, and the cold indifference of the local police.

Then, the tone shifted. He edited the footage of himself, penniless, walking into the luxury mall, only to be swarmed by local girls desperate for photos. He included the scene where Samina arrived in her Range Rover to rescue him.

He cut the first episode right at the moment Samina's driver pulled up to the police station, leaving a ten-second preview for the next part. The total runtime was 26 minutes.

Rahul thought about using "beauty filters" on the girls, but decided against it. Authenticity was his brand. Besides, their looks were already so striking they didn't need a single digital touch-up.

He checked his Omega Seamaster. It was 8:00 AM. Without hesitation, he hit 'Publish' across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok under the handle: "Rahul: Citizen of the World."

He stretched, collapsed onto his bed, and fell back asleep.

While Rahul slept, his video hit the internet like a tidal wave. When netizens saw the first 15 seconds of highlight moments, the comment sections and live chats exploded.

"Holy crap! Since when are Indian guys superstars in Bangladesh?"

"No way! How does a country like that have women this stunning?"

"Wait, did I see that right? The girls are paying for his meals? Is this a parallel universe?"

"Look at the twins! High-society 'Boss Ladies' are literally fighting over him?!"

"Did she just offer him 20 million Taka as a dowry?! My brain just stopped working."

"For everyone asking: 20 million Taka is roughly 1.5 Crore Rupees! The woman is paying the man?! I'm booking my flight now!"

"Is that an Omega Seamaster 300? That's a 5-lakh watch! And she's begging him to accept it? I'm crying."

"Everyone talking about booking a flight: look at the vlogger's face. If you don't look like a literal Greek god, you're just going to get mugged, not married!"

As Rahul's face appeared clearly on screen, the comments turned into a frenzy.

"I finally get it. His looks are absolutely illegal!"

"Why hasn't this guy been famous before? He puts Bollywood heartthrobs to shame."

Naturally, the skeptics chimed in too.

"This has to be scripted. Probably just paid some models to act."

"First it was 'Visit Thailand,' now it's 'Visit Bangladesh.' Don't fall for it, you'll end up in a organ-harvesting center!"

But the female audience was won over instantly.

"He's so handsome it actually hurts to look at him!"

"His jawline is sharper than my future."

"If I saw him at a mall in Mumbai, I'd offer to pay his mortgage too! Sisters, does anyone have his Instagram handle?!"

"I'm more worried about his stolen wallet. Did the Dhaka police actually do anything?"

"The cliffhanger is brutal! What happens when the rich girl walks into the police station? Rahul, post the next part now!"

Expert Guide Follow-up:

Rahul's first video has gone viral, and the "dowry" reveal has started a massive cultural debate on Indian social media. As he wakes up to millions of views, he sees a notification that Ananya has commented on the video. Should he pin her comment to let his new fans roast her, or should he ignore the noise and start editing the "Twin Penthouse" episode to keep the momentum going?
