Neko Liu was a British Shorthair cat from the pet store across the flower shop Litter Attendant Jiu frequented.
Their story wasn't the typical love at first sight. Neko Liu caught Shen Jiu's attention because of a fight. Shen Jiu thought he was quite fierce and brought him home, thus began their routine.
6:30, Shen Jiu has to wake up and get ready for work so Neko Liu simply pushes the unlocked door with a paw and leaps on the bed. Shen Jiu usually sleeps through his first two alarms. Neko Liu watches him smack his lips every time the second alarm rings. Afterwards he merely sits on Shen Jiu's face, the suffocation wakes him up instantly and he coughs on the fur. They glare at each other for a moment then Shen Jiu goes to the bathroom for a shower.
He gets his revenge by leaving the cat food that Neko Liu hates the most.
Whilst Shen Jiu goes to work, Neko Liu moves about the apartment, surveying each and every corner. He's not like other cats who want to laze around, he likes to move.,
He's a good neko, he doesn't scratch anything unless Shen Jiu triggers him and he even hides his poop when he's done relieving himself. Neko Liu has a habit of watching martial arts movies on the TV. He even knows the button to raise the volume.
When Neko Liu gets hungry he jumps on the counter and opens the cupboard. He often plows through Shen Jiu's snack pile, not that the Litter Attendant even notices. Neko Liu is careful not to leave any traces. It's a pity after that one incident with the wine, the alcohol cabinet has been locked.
Sometimes Shen Jiu wonders why he picked up such a cat. Aren't cats either supposed to be clingy with you or act like they are the rulers of the earth? This British Shorthair that he found is ferocious and enjoys beating other cats, sometimes it also slaps him awake. It scratches when you touch its head. Shen Jiu's never heard it purr, at least only once when it was drunk from the wine. This little fellow is quite odd.
Litter Attendant Jiu comes back home at 8 p.m. The house is filled with muddy paw prints. Neko Liu must have gone out the window to swat at butterflies again. Shen Jiu's never seen a more stupid cat.
Neko Liu hates baths, but not to the point of thrashing around. He doesn't mind being dirty but Shen Jiu can't tolerate it. After bath time with Neko Liu hissing at the hair dryer, they eat dinner.
Cat food isn't allowed for dinner, Litter Attendant jiu has tried to negotiate but to no use. Neko Liu wants beef, preferably steak. It's a pity he isn't human. After dinner, Neko Liu begrudgingly steps on Litter Attendant Jiu's back to massage him. Shen Jiu's always sitting on a chair so it's not good for his back. Neko Liu doesn't care, he just doesn't want litter Attendant Jiu to keel over die because he's not taking care of his health properly.
