Chapter 1 - A Sundered Slip In Time (Prologue)

Imagine a planet nestled within an infinite expanse, far from the grasp of a brilliant, eternally collapsing star. Its skies are adorned with shimmering hues, devoid of the stars' direct illumination. Here, celestial phenomena dance across the heavens, unfettered by the dominating glow.

The planet's division of weather zones created a tapestry of diverse environments. One zone, a vast expanse of icy tundra, where snow blankets the landscape, and frigid winds whip across the plains, shaping towering ice formations. The landscape comprises crystalline formations, where shimmering ice structures rise like spires from the frozen ground. Strange, bioluminescent organisms thrive beneath the ice, casting an ethereal glow across the landscape, while towering glaciers sculpted into intricate patterns by alien winds dominate the horizon.

In contrast, another zone is dominated by scorching rocky deserts, where relentless heat radiates from the sun-baked terrain, creating shimmering mirages and vast dunes of sand. The terrain is composed of towering monoliths of obsidian and iridescent rock formations that seem to shift and change color with the angle of the distant star's light. Geothermal vents dot the landscape, releasing plumes of colorful gases into the air, while sand dunes made of fine, luminescent particles stretch across the horizon, emitting a soft glow in the darkness.

Further zones include lush tropical rainforests, where dense foliage thrives amidst steamy humidity and frequent rainfall. A zone of towering mountains boasting rugged peaks perpetually dusted with snow, while deep valleys harbor temperate forests and meandering rivers. Each zone would offer its own unique challenges and opportunities for life to adapt and thrive, resulting in a planet teeming with biodiversity and ecological wonders.

This planet's name is Beo's, a magnificently beautiful celestial body of scattered zones and life. Its history, the race of people, and its placement outside, yet still near the universe it governed, gave purpose to both the world's inhabitants. However, the existence and peace within this tranquil cosmos didn't last long. As that very peace that once traversed along this planet came to a halting stop with the disappearance of the planet's Beloved king.

Not much is known about the disappearance of the king of Beos, although what is known about his abrupt vanishing is that it left two things in its wake. A tale created for the king's reason in his departure, as well as the strife of indecision and battle among his own species in his absence. The inhabitants of the planet went into disarray, their emotions sparking heated debates and disagreements among the planet's own family and friends, which led to a struggle for governing branches, the world and its people swarming for action and answers; Wishing to find out how things would be handled in the king's absence.

As tensions escalated, these differences in ideology and approach ultimately erupted into a full-scale war on the planet. The devastating conflict tore Beos apart, resulting in the planet's fragmentation into Adrazenith and Umbravale , it also split the original people of Beos into two different races in the process.

Adrazenith became the new home for a race that would later be known as the Bayoes. These beings kept more of their spirit in exchange for having less soul within. They would dedicate their days to the continued pursuit of technological advancement and spiritual exploration. They kept a large chunk of the original planet Beo's, and as such, their culture surrounded the hierarchy and traditions of Beo's people, strict traditions that could be twisted like beams of light shining through shattered glass.

Umbravale, however, composed of the left over, shattered remnants of Beos, became the domain for the race called Nayoes, who had more of a connection to their soul in exchange for less spirit within. They sought to uphold the sanctity of nature's cruel/hopeful actions upon the universe. They believed in shattering the traditional ways of planet Beo's, to evolve into something new, the universe could see as a protector/punisher for all without bias.

In the aftermath of the " Great Sundering ", both planets grappled with the legacy of the civil war, facing the challenges of rebuilding their societies amidst the ruins of their fractured world. While the physical separation of the Bayoes and Nayoes persisted, the ideological divide between the two races continued to influence their interactions, leading to a chain of sporadic conflicts and tensions between Adrazenith and Umbravale.

Though, after these events and passaging of time, a new prophecy on Adrazenith has become a bit more prevalent, even if it's not taken seriously. The tale speaks of a girl who will delve into a momentous journey, uniting the people of both Adrazenith and Umbravale. This girl, over the journey, grows into a woman fitting to be crowned queen of Adrazenith. She will be marked from birth with the " Cradle of spiraling light". A significant birth marking of lines and light that signifies her destiny, for her firstborn will be the next king of Adrazenith.
