Chapter 102 - my name is bang bang and i like explosions

Kalon nestled in his volcanic Dragon Nest, feeling every inch of his body undergoing subtle, almost imperceptible changes as it was bathed in the warm, spring-like molten lava.

Every True Dragon has a limit to their absorption of magic elements and needs time to digest them. Even though Kalon's innate bloodline was stronger than other True Dragons, he couldn't absorb magic elements and energy indefinitely; it was just that his limit far exceeded that of other True Dragons his age.

But even if he couldn't absorb more magical energy elements to accelerate the growth of the True Dragon's body and bloodline, Kalon never interrupted this process.

In Kalon's true vision, he used his own field radiation fluctuations to continuously expel overflowing magical energy elements, allowing these energies, tainted with the will and bloodline radiation of the Evil Dragon, to continuously infiltrate the entire space limit that the radiation could reach through the medium of field radiation fluctuations.

Within the maximum range that Kalon's personal field could achieve with the help of the entire Dragon Nest's field radiation, every inch of soil, every rock, and even every bit of air was permeated with Kalon's aura and energy radiation.

This caused Kalon's volcanic Dragon Nest to begin to be enveloped by an exclusive field. Every creature that stepped onto Red Dragon Mountain Peak would feel the repulsion and suppression of the entire space towards them; only the Red Dragon's power could be exerted in this space.

In this way, perhaps before long, Female Red Dragon Klenaya, who liked to secretly use the volcanic lava lake, would be unable to set foot in Kalon's exclusive private domain.

This was a small preparatory step Kalon was taking for his future slumber. Although he had the protection of many monster dependents, there were absolutely strong individuals in this world who could break through the defenses of these dependents and reach the mountain peak.

Therefore, Kalon had been continuously and diligently building his Dragon Nest. It not only needed additional warning magic protection but also required some means of counterattack and suppression.

In Kalon's vision, through the control of this field radiation, after a long period of infection and infiltration, the entire mountain would eventually form a domain similar to that possessed by the Red Dragon itself.

Within this extremely exclusive domain, Kalon's own strength would not be affected and would even be amplified by the field energy, while enemies would be severely suppressed, finding it difficult to even replenish energy from the domain, and would need to expend extra strength to resist the field's suppression.

Enemies weakened, Kalon strengthened, which, by simple calculation, equaled a double enhancement.

While continuously releasing and expelling excess magical elements and energy, the Red Dragon was also drawing accumulated energy from the earth's core, hidden for countless tens of thousands of years, through the ever-burning volcano.

Countless violent or scorching magical and energy elements were stirred by the Red Dragon, then filtered and neutralized by the Red Dragon's scales and skin, and absorbed by the Red Dragon's body.

Kalon's own Evil Dragon bloodline was operating almost every moment. During his slumber, Kalon's will released its suppression on the Evil Dragon Blood, allowing the Evil Dragon bloodline to almost madly swallow the countless accumulated energy and magic of the underground volcano.

These energies and magic, purified and refined by the Evil Dragon bloodline, continuously permeated every inch of the Red Dragon's skin, every organ, and every blood vessel under the swallowing of the Evil Dragon Blood.

Then, from the macroscopic to the microscopic, from large to small, penetrating into every cell, the Red Dragon's body slowly grew and strengthened without him realizing it.

Around the volcanic Dragon Nest, on the stone walls eroded by magma into countless holes and crevices, countless densely packed, enormous magic gems and crystals were embedded.

These magic gems covered the entire surrounding stone walls of the Dragon Nest, like a starry sky at night, shining brightly within the slightly dim Dragon Nest.

These gems and crystals, which could serve as excellent magic-carrying materials, had some mysterious connection. Each gem and crystal was located at a magic node of a huge magic array, emitting flickering light and pure energy with the fluctuations of the array's frequency.

And all the gems and crystals embedded in the walls connected together to form an enormous magic array covering the entire mountain.

The magical rune trajectories, composed of beast blood runes radiating powerful life energy and tiny energy crystals, were the connecting channels and energy transmission conduits of this magic array.

The Red Dragon, enveloped by this massive magic array, could bear several times its own energy and gain several times its life enhancement. This was the magic, [Life Growth], that Kalon learned from Old the Magician Lapers.

The former high-level transcendent warrior, Will Clarence, reached his limit after enduring just one spell from Squinty-eyed Mage Hiusir, but now the Red Dragon could bear the immense blessings of the entire magic array.

This was the unique advantage of the True Dragon. Their overly vast life origin and bodies stronger than most creatures in the world made the True Dragon's magic-carrying capacity unparalleled.

And for this kind of supportive spell, the Red Dragon's magic resistance, under the influence of its subjective will, would not react to it.

Kalon's body was enjoying the soaking and strengthening of energy, while his spiritual will sank into his sea of consciousness.

On the vast and boundless, yet incredibly dark, sea of consciousness, Kalon's own spiritual will condensed into the form of a Red Dragon, almost identical to his physical body in the outside world, but much smaller than his external body, appearing incredibly tiny on the vast and boundless dark sea.

On this dark, vast, boundless sea, the only thing that could emit light was the continuously rotating vortex of psychic energy, floating and sinking on the surface of the sea.

The light emitted by the psychic energy vortex was almost colorless, but in Kalon's perception, it was like a black hole emitting a soft white light. Countless streams of psychic energy connected from the void to the psychic energy vortex, being absorbed, extracted, and accumulated by it.

The newly subdued Jackal Tribe also began to generate a lot of psychic energy, though it was relatively weak for now, not even comparable to those muddle-headed Green Goblin.

This still required time to change. As Kalon's rule and influence over these Gnoll deepened, the entire Jackal Tribe would also become Kalon's granary of psychic energy.

Only Gnoll Leader Yug, his psychic energy seemed exceptionally firm. The psychic energy he provided was no less than that of the Kobold dependents. On one hand, this was due to the Jackal Leader's outstanding strength and powerful spirit, and on the other hand, it also reflected that Kalon's influence over him was already strong enough.

At close range, Kalon could clearly perceive the source and direction of each stream of psychic energy, but for those humans further away from the Red Dragon, Kalon found it difficult to perceive the source of their psychic energy, only being able to sense the approximate direction.

However, the psychic energy provided by some humans was exceptionally abundant, even comparable to Yug the Gnoll leader and those Kobold dependents loyal to the True Dragon. It was just that their numbers were relatively small.

Most of the psychic energy provided by the remaining humans was equivalent to that of the Green Goblins. If categorized by believer level, this portion belonged to the general believers.

And the psychic energy provided by the True Dragons in the True Dragon was the most steadfast. Each stream of psychic energy was much thicker than the others, like thick vines standing amidst thin grass.

Although the True Dragons in the True Dragon varied in strength, the psychic energy they provided was almost similar, which also showed some differences.

The weakest juvenile White Dragon camid could provide psychic energy comparable to the strongest adolescent Blue True Dragon Akzi, which was enough to prove White Dragon camid's obedience and trust in Kalon.

As for the adolescent Blue True Dragon Akzi, he had changed slightly, from providing the least psychic energy among the True Dragons to being similar to other True Dragons now, proving that he was also integrating into the core rhythm and atmosphere of the Dragon clan.

However, even though these True Dragons were stronger than other True Dragon dependents, the total amount of psychic energy they provided was not the most. The most psychic energy provided to Kalon came from the Centaur Tribe and the Kobold Tribe.

But the Centaur Tribe had far fewer members than the Kobold Tribe. Although Centaur Warrior were generally stronger than Kobold dependents, even a young Centaur Warrior could easily deal with several Kobold warriors, but this was enough to prove the loyalty and support of these elite Centaur Warrior to the True Dragon.

As for the Ogre Tribe, the energy they provided was roughly equivalent to that of the Green Goblin Tribe. Only Fafna the Ogre Giant, the psychic energy she now provided had actually crossed several levels, reaching a level similar to that of the Kobold dependents.

Moreover, due to the Ogre Giant's innate counter-ability, she had continuously benefited Kalon in terms of spiritual and soul power, which meant Kalon was getting two benefits from one source, providing double the value to the Red Dragon.

Although some of this accumulated energy was consumed in the arena, allowing Kalon to evolve and generate sub-brain clusters, the current total amount, after subsequent replenishment, was still considerable.

If it continued to accumulate at this efficiency, when Kalon entered his slumber transitioning from the juvenile to the adolescent stage, it might be enough for Kalon to undergo a major directional enhancement.

Kalon was currently contemplating the direction of his next enhancement. In his opinion, this energy, possessing magical abilities that could almost change the essence of a creature, should be used incisively to perfect one's own abilities and create possibilities, rather than simply for stacking and strengthening power.

Just like when he was trapped in the Catha Empire, he chose to evolve and generate sub-brain clusters. In his vision, these would continuously improve and evolve in the future, ultimately evolving towards having the ability to help Kalon analyze world rules, rather than serving as a simple data information collection and analysis library and a library.

Individual abilities are ultimately limited, but Kalon can amplify this individual power. This is the magical change brought by psychic energy, and it is also Kalon's policy for the use of psychic energy.

As for which direction to strengthen next, Kalon's mind moved, and from the information that had condensed into bloodline talents after his previous two enhancements, he extracted key information inscribed within his Evil Dragon bloodline. These pieces of information were presented in a form that Kalon could clearly understand.

Bloodline Solidification - Super-limit Growth: Your body's all-around qualities will receive maximum growth within your bloodline growth range, and your own bloodline talent potential will be developed and grown to the maximum extent.

Bloodline Solidification - Psychic Overclocking: You can control yourself to enter a certain body-bearing overclocking mode with a firm spiritual will, allowing you to perfectly control all your attributes and freely exert all your inherent power and abilities.

These two talents were considered the optimal solution in Kalon's original choices. The talent 'Bloodline Solidification - Super-limit Growth' perfectly aligns with the advantages and characteristics of the True Dragon race.

All True Dragons possess increasingly higher growth curves, but even True Dragons in their later stages of development, powerful beings who have awakened ancestral bloodlines, those powerful Evil Dragons with formidable titles even in the endless star realms, few are able to fully unleash their complete bloodline potential.

According to Kalon's inherited memories, even a famous powerful White True Dragon who roamed countless star realms never fully developed his bloodline potential as a True Dragon, but instead embarked on another correct path.

There are also other True Dragons who strike fear into countless star realm civilizations. They almost all possess their own unique paths and methods. In Kalon's inherited memories, these powerful Evil Dragons, favored or disliked by the Chromatic Dragon Queen, have almost become another race within the True Dragon race.

They share the same designation: Abomination True Dragon.

Kalon's situation is unique; logically, he should also fall within the category of Abomination True Dragon, but Kalon was simultaneously touched by the remnants of the Old World and the gifts of the New World. He is regarded by the New World as a creature born of its origin, yet he still bears traces of the Old World.

Regardless, Kalon's talent gives him an advantage. At the same bloodline level, he is far more comprehensive and powerful than other ordinary True Dragon s.

Even those True Dragon s who have awakened their ancestral dragon bloodlines can only suppress him with higher-level power and bloodline, but cannot match Kalon's comprehensive advantages.

The latter talent compensates for the large, relatively clumsy body of a True Dragon, eliminating the common criticism of dragons' agility as a weakness for Kalon.

Moreover, as Kalon gradually adapts and practices, this state is quickly becoming a permanent one. In time, it will become a fixed inherent ability of Red Dragon, like the scales and armor on Kalon's body, rather than a state that needs to be activated.

As for the next direction of enhancement, Kalon looked at the two talents inscribed within his Evil Dragon Blood and already had an idea: he wanted to fully utilize his advantages.

This would involve not only the Red Dragon's own growth and evolution but also advancing along the orthodox path as described by Lapers the Magician. The two would complement each other without causing interference or conflict.

Kalon's inherent domain—[All Things Turn to Ash]—can be seen as a condensed system representing a small part of the world's true power.

The other two domains related to earth and metal elements that Kalon is gradually awakening will also be regarded by Kalon as vessels for constructing his own unique system concerning the true nature of the world.

And in this enhancement, Kalon will fill the gaps in his construction of his true world system, initially building his cognitive and power systems based on the Five Elements and Five senses.

After analysis and speculation based on the knowledge collected by Kalon's auxiliary brain cluster, Kalon's approach has a success rate approaching sixty percent. Such a high success rate for a path unique to Kalon, before it has even been explored, is beyond Kalon's expectations.

However, the most important thing now is to accumulate enough psychic energy. The psychic power required for the next enhancement might exceed Kalon's estimate. Kalon has set a goal for himself: always have more than enough, never less, to avoid delaying his growth and limiting his development.

Bang! A loud noise came from the foot of the mountain in the distance, startling the sleeping Red Dragon. Although the sound of the tremor had become much weaker by the time it reached the mountaintop, Kalon, whose spirit was connected to the entire Dragon Nest's field, keenly detected the vibrations.

However, the Red Dragon did not open his eyes. Unless something special happened in his territory, he generally wouldn't bother. The True Dragon he had taken in were also there to serve him, so he didn't need to do everything himself. Besides, there were other True Dragon, so he didn't pay attention.

Bang, bang,

A tremendous tremor came from the Green Goblin camp, accompanied by the resounding shock. Several wooden houses collapsed in the gray mist with a rumbling sound, and occasionally, the screams of Green Goblin buried under the rubble could be heard.

"Damn it, it's Bang Bang again. How many times has that guy blown up his own house this month? This time he even blew up my house. What an annoying Goblin."

"I really hope that annoying Goblin gets crushed to death by his own house, so we don't have to deal with this several times a month. (Goblin swear words, very dirty!)"

An adult Goblin, furious, stood in front of his collapsed house, yelling curses with his hands and feet, his anger even greater than the sorrow of his house collapsing.

The other Goblin shouted, "Quick, quick, dig out that unlucky, death-seeking Bang Bang from the rubble! Don't let that death-seeking idiot die in there! He's a Goblin who was even received by the Red Dragon! That guy always likes to cause trouble for himself and us!"

The many Goblin clamored, pulling apart the collapsed wooden house, moving large logs and furniture large enough for the short Goblin. Finally, in a corner of the ruins, they dug out a young, dazed Goblin.

This Goblin was ugly, even more so than ordinary Goblin. Looking closely, this Goblin's face and body were covered with various scars. These healed wounds made this otherwise normal Goblin appear incredibly hideous.

The many Goblins didn't care about the wood pressing on the young Goblin named Bang Bang. They swarmed forward, grabbing Bang Bang's exposed arms and upper body. A few ingenious Green Goblin even directly hugged Bang Bang's head and neck, preparing to pull Bang Bang out of the rubble like a radish.

"Ah, slower, slower!" Green Goblin Bang Bang's dazed face showed pain, and he howled loudly, "My leg is broken! Don't pull me! Don't pull me anymore! If you pull any more, Bang Bang's whole Goblin body will break!"

Finally, amidst Green Goblin Bang Bang's wails, the other Goblin gave up on such rough methods, pried open the wood pressing on Bang Bang, and finally rescued the young Goblin Bang Bang.

The unlucky Goblin Bang Bang sat crookedly on the ground. The other Goblin, after pulling him out, ignored him and left him to his own devices.

Even Bang Bang's neighbor stopped his cursing. He was tired and couldn't be bothered with Bang Bang anymore.

"Oh, my leg is broken, what should I do about this house?" Young Bang Bang sat on the ground, looking at his house, which had once again turned into ruins, with a worried expression. But then he seemed to suddenly remember something and shouted, "Ah, I forgot my toy! I have to find it! I hope it wasn't destroyed."

The young, ugly Goblin Bang Bang quickly dragged his short, stubby legs and crawled to the ruins of his house, using his thin, short hands to dig through the rubble, constantly searching in the dust.

"Elf Snare Ball, not this," the Green Goblin found a round tool that emitted a unique scent, then threw it away without hesitation.

"Kobold Vision Enhancement Glasses, not this," a pair of glasses, similar to string-hung ear-hook glasses, with two lenses connected by a thin string, was tossed aside by Goblin Bang Bang.

"Centaur Estrous Inducer, not this," a dark green bottle was thrown away by Goblin Bang Bang. His short hands tirelessly dug and tossed aside one strange item after another, his ugly face already covered with a fine layer of sweat.

"Please don't let them all be destroyed," Goblin Bang Bang muttered to himself. Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and a joyful expression appeared on his face. He pulled out something similar to a human stove used for heating and hugged it tightly to his chest.

He laughed heartily, "Not broken, not broken! The magic furnace isn't completely destroyed! I, Goblin Bang Bang, am going to receive a reward from the Red Dragon!"

Green Goblin Bang Bang is a notorious death-seeking inventor in the Green Goblin Tribe. He always possesses a strong curiosity about everything in the world and constantly explores driven by his curiosity.

Most of the things Green Goblin Bang Bang invented through his exploration of the world, though strange and largely useless, occasionally included one or two extremely useful items, or inventions with development potential.

Green Goblin Bang Bang, who possessed an extraordinary sensitivity to the characteristics of certain things in the world, once ground a certain type of stone extracted from the mountain at the foot of the Red Dragon into powder, and then mixed some pungent substances contained in volcanic soil with powdered charcoal to create a pungent, combustible powder.

Although after inventing this powder, Goblin Bang Bang inadvertently burned down half of his own house and his neighbor's house because he couldn't control the quantity, Goblin Bang Bangtruly didn't do it on purpose.

He invented this powder simply to repel the ubiquitous mosquitoes and venomous insects in the forest. He never expected that the powder he haphazardly concocted would react like that when it encountered fire.

Then the Goblin Bang Bang was reported by the Goblin leader to the Kobold Leader Bagg, who managed the Goblin camp. Kobold Leader Bagg chose to report this special invention to the Red Dragon, which is how Kalon learned of the matter.

After the Red Dragon met this unlucky, death-seeking Goblin, he discovered that this Goblin had inadvertently created black powder.

Although Kalon was not surprised by the appearance of black powder, in Kalon's perception, this world is very different from his original world. Even if some underlying rules are common, and black powder can exert its power as it did in his original world, Kalon would not attach importance to it.

In Kalon's view, without a mature industrial system and a well-developed productive force system, trying to utilize this gunpowder would be a pipe dream. Moreover, even with a supporting system, before developing to a certain height, the power of this gunpowder could not even harm a prepared low-level magician.

The resources consumed for input and output, and the returns obtained, were far from proportional. Moreover, magic flourished in this world, and magical civilization had gradually reached its peak.

Some magical applications far exceeded the industrial technology of his previous life, such as the colossal floating cities residing high in the heavens in Kalon's memory inheritance, various Golem with mysterious and powerful forces, and various powerful forbidden magic, whose destructive power was no less than any means from his previous life.

Therefore, Kalon never thought of pursuing massive industrial development in this world or making it a priority. In the Red Dragon's view, not knowing how to adapt, analyzing specific problems specifically, acting according to local conditions, and rigidly applying methods are extremely foolish.

However, some practices from his previous life also had advantages. He could combine the best of both. When the productive forces of the territory developed to a certain extent, he could appropriately establish a basic related product assembly line and industrial foundation system, the purpose of which was merely to facilitate the territory's life and infrastructure. Of course, the most important thing was to serve the Red Dragon's ideas.

Although the young Goblin Bang Bang's invention did not surprise the Red Dragon, the Red Dragon felt that this Goblin was a rare talent. Therefore, he granted this young Goblin a relatively unique and transcendent status and reward, allowing this Green Goblin to directly contact Kobold Leader Bagg, and then meet the Red Dragon through Bagg.

After the Red Dragon met the Goblin, he gave the Green Goblin Bang Bang a task: to find a way to turn black powder into fireworks. In Kalon's memory, turning black powder into fireworks only required a few simple steps.

For example, adding some metallic luminous agents and coloring agents could make fireworks burst into colorful displays. Kalon felt that these fireworks might bring some lovely gold coins to the Red Dragon.

However, the Green Goblin's mind, like the Green Orcs of a certain world, was filled with various chaotic and unpredictable ideas, and was blessed by some "I reckon" power.

After accepting the Red Dragon's task, the Green Goblin Bang Bang, while still researching how to make black powder into fireworks that could shoot into the sky and release various colored flames, also had another idea.

The Young Goblin Bang Bang once connected a hollow sphere and a sealed iron pot containing water with two hollow tubes. He then heated the bottom of the pot to boil the water, turning it into steam, which then entered the sphere through the tubes.

Finally, the steam would spray out from both sides of the sphere, causing it to rotate. This interesting toy was called a "Steam Spinner" by Goblin bang bang. It spun constantly in the Green Goblin's house, providing Bang Bang with endless inspiration, like gushing steam.

So, today, the young Goblin bang bang had an idea: to create a "Magic Spinner" toy based on the Steam Spinner, powered by the omnipresent magic in the air.

To prevent insufficient magic concentration from making it difficult to power the toy, Goblin banjer boldly used a small magic crystal, which Red Dragon had rewarded him with last time, as the core power source. The result was the explosion of his own house and his neighbor's wooden hut.

Fortunately, Goblin banjer had used a shell made of fine iron, rewarded to him by Red Dragon, for the outer casing of the Magic Spinner toy. The unstable magic's explosive power only sprayed out from two openings. Otherwise, even if the God of Fortune favored Goblin bang bang, the Goblin today would not have merely suffered a broken leg from the collapsed ruins.

"Hehe," the lucky Goblin banjer chuckled foolishly, hugging the sooty furnace in his hands. "This toy is so powerful, just like the bomb that Lord True Dragon spoke of. Did I cleverly invent something called a bomb? I must quickly find Kobold Leader Bagg. I can't wait to receive Lord True Dragon's reward."

Dragging his broken leg, Goblin banjer stood up, puffed out his shriveled chest, and limped proudly and spiritedly through the Goblin camp towards the Kobold camp.

He had been granted a unique status by Red Dragon and wore an identification tag given by Red Dragon around his neck, allowing him free access to all tribal camps.

The Kobolds along the way watched the limping Goblin banjer, constantly mocking him. In the eyes of these Kobolds, these chaotic and foolish Goblins were like the low-status, stupid Ogres, not worth a second glance from a Kobold. Even if Goblin banjer had received praise from Red Dragon, it was difficult to change the entire race's external impression and status.

"Ho, little green-skinned dwarf, what's wrong with your leg? Did you hurt yourself again with your own invention? Be careful, it's not a big deal if you hurt yourself, but if you damage the territory of a noble True Dragon, that would be a death sentence."

"Hahaha, every month we get to see some fun happening in the camps of these green-skinned dwarves. Hey, little dwarf, I think you should join those human circuses; you'd surely amuse everyone!" The equally short Kobolds brazenly mocked the limping, silent Goblin banjer.

The lively Kobold camp immediately erupted in laughter caused by these Kobolds. Every passing Kobold would look at the Green Goblin with disdainful and arrogant eyes; they were favored kin of the Dragon clan, and naturally, they were arrogant.

But Goblin banjer ignored these taunts. Instead, he slowly walked to Kobold Leader Bagg's house and knocked on Kobold Bagg's door.

Bang, bang,

After a while, the persistent Goblin finally saw the wide, tall door open, revealing the head of the now aged Kobold Leader Bagg.

When Kobold Leader Bagg saw that it was Green Goblin banjer, an impatient expression immediately appeared on his old, gaunt face, and his eyes showed indifference and arrogance.

Bagg shouted loudly, "Bang Bang, you're trying to use those ridiculous trinkets to please the noble True Dragon again! I told you, don't bother me without proof of success! I don't want to disturb the great True Dragon for some toys and incur the True Dragon's wrath."

Even compared to the short, gaunt Kobold Leader Bagg, the scrawny Green Goblin banjer bowed to Bagg.

Then Bang Bang whispered, "Good day, Lord Bagg. I believe I have created the powerful bomb that the great True Dragon spoke of. My house and my neighbor's house, which were blown up, are proof of its success."

Saying this, Goblin banjer held up the sooty little furnace in his hand, which still emitted a burnt smell. "You see, Lord Bagg, this is my invention. I don't think it will disappoint you, and perhaps the esteemed True Dragon will also be pleased by it and reward and praise you."

Kobold Leader Bagg originally wanted to refuse the Goblin's request, but upon hearing that he might receive a reward and praise from the True Dragon because of it, he hesitated for a moment before finally nodding.

He said in a hoarse, aged voice, "Alright, then follow me. You'd better make sure your words come true, or else the tribute your Green Goblins owe to the True Dragon this month will be increased." The Kobold threatened the Green Goblin in front of him.

Goblin banjer nodded silently, gritting his teeth and hopping along, quietly following Kobold Leader Bagg's footsteps.

Under the guidance of Kobold Leader Bagg, they quickly arrived at the foot of the mountain and met Dragonborn Wolf Sahar, who was patrolling and guarding the mountain climbing passage. They explained their purpose to Dragonborn Wolf.

Dragonborn Wolf Sahar looked up at the setting sun and said, "It's getting dark. How long will it take for you two short-legged fellows to climb to the top of the mountain? We cannot disturb the True Dragon's rest."

"You two continue to patrol and guard here. I'll take them up," the Wolf instructed his subordinates.

After speaking, the Wolf extended his thick arms, picked up Kobold Leader Bagg and Goblin banjer, one in each hand, and ran towards Red Dragon's mountain peak as if carrying two light pieces of jerky.

In the eyes of the Kobold and the Goblin, the tall steps were swiftly crossed as if they were flat ground beneath the powerful Dragonborn Wolf's feet. To avoid disturbing the True Dragon's rest, Dragonborn Wolf's speed became faster and faster. Kobold Bagg and Goblin banjer swung like two swings hanging from the Wolf's arms, swaying back and forth.

Ugh,

The rapid running and swaying caused the two weak kin to gag, while Goblin banjer closed his eyes and tightly hugged the toy, which resembled a small furnace, in his arms.

When they finally reached the summit and slid from Wolf Saha's arms, both kin had almost vomited up even their lunch for the day and were lying on the ground, retching continuously.

"My Lord, Saha has come to pay his respects!"

Wolf Saha stopped below the mountain top's lair, not daring to ascend rashly. His powerful strength and keen intuition had already sensed a suppressive force and threat emanating from the Red Dragon's lair. Moreover, like other Dragonborn kin, he harbored no presumptuous thoughts towards his Lord.

Rumble, Wolf Saha heard the sound of Red Dragon stretching his body and leaping from the lava, bringing with him a waterfall of magma. The next second, Red Dragon's massive body appeared before the Wolf's eyes.

"What is it, Saha?" Kalon's enormous head stretched forward, looking down at the waiting kin below the mountain top steps.

"My Lord, I have brought these two fellows to pay their respects to you. They say they have something you would like to see." Dragonborn Wolf Saha knelt on one knee, his head, topped with a pair of True Dragon horns, bowed low, his attitude extremely respectful.

"Speak, what is it? I hope you can satisfy me." Kalon's eyes held some displeasure. To be lazy, he had assigned most of the affairs in his territory to other True Dragons and trustworthy kin, focusing solely on exploring his future path, not wanting to be casually disturbed.

"Great Master, the Goblin says he has invented something of great power. He says it's the bomb you once spoke of, and you must want to see it, so he insisted I bring him," the slippery Kobold Leader Bagg knelt on the ground, showing respect, but in his words, he began to shift responsibility.

"Bomb?" Kalon frowned. When he first mentioned such a thing, he had no intention of promoting it. Moreover, with the current methods, even if such a thing were invented, it would only be used like throwing stones, perhaps only capable of scaring mortals and unable to harm even low-level warriors who had stepped into the extraordinary.

Perhaps the Goblin had seen him mention such a thing, so he wanted to create a bomb to please him, Kalon knew clearly in his heart.

Kalon's enormous red eyes glanced sideways at the Kobold, then looked at Goblin banjer, who was also kneeling at his feet. A low, calm voice sounded, "Present it. Let me see."

The scrawny Goblin bang bang held the sooty furnace high above his head with both hands, then softly explained its operation and power to Red Dragon.

Red Dragon took the furnace, which Goblin banjer had named "Bomb." His furrowed brow slowly smoothed out, and a smile crept onto Red Dragon's ferocious face.

"This isn't a bomb at all. According to this Goblin, this is clearly the prototype of a steam engine, but a magic-driven magic steam engine, or rather, a magic furnace would be more accurate." Although Kalon couldn't understand the structure of the object before him, after the Goblin's explanation, he still discovered some clues.

"But calling it a bomb is fine too. When this magic furnace explodes, its power is no less than a bomb's." Kalon's face showed a satisfied smile as he looked at some magic patterns carved on the furnace, clearly magic runes used to absorb and gather magic, and some other magic patterns representing the output of magical energy.

"I don't know where this Goblin got these runes, and this ingenious concept. Could these Goblins also possess the 'I think therefore I am' power like those Green Orcs?" Thoughts rapidly spun in Kalon's mind, but his eyes, which had just been filled with some lingering sleepiness, returned to calmness.

Kalon did not express his excitement and joy, but simply said calmly, "Goblin, tell me your name."

"Great True Dragon Master, my name is Bang Bang. I once had the honor of being received by you," Goblin bang bang's ugly head repeatedly knocked hard on the ground, with solid force.

"Alright, stop now," Kalon's brow furrowed again. It wasn't that he disliked others kowtowing or held any ideals of equality and freedom; rather, he was afraid that the Goblin would damage that rare, intelligent head by knocking it.

However, the Goblin said he had once been received by him, but Kalon had no impression of it. He generally wouldn't keep such minor matters in mind, and he was too lazy to activate his secondary brain-node clusters to search and review his memories.

"Hmm," Red Dragon nodded, his deep voice echoing in the Goblin's ears. "Goblin bang bang, your name has been remembered by me. I like your invention very much. You should receive my reward. Speak, what reward do you want? As long as I can satisfy it, even if it is to make you a Dragonborn, possessing endless life and powerful strength, I can reward you with it."

Overjoyed, Goblin bang bang immediately knocked his head on the ground three more times with force, then looked up and cried out in a happy voice, "Great True Dragon Master, Goblin bang bang wants nothing but for the Goblin Tribe to become true kin of the True Dragon Master, just like the Kobold Tribe!"
