Its been a two weeks since ryan had returned from high rise city with his brand new shinx.
In those two weeks ryan had been using his wheel everyday and had gotten some useful stuff despite not getting a red tier reward.

The move evolution tickets ryan decided to save for frogadier once he learns more moves.
Hes been improving but its biggest strength isn't utilized to the fullest yet.
Intermediate grade pokeblocks refer to the level of a breeder, ryan unfortunately has been able to upgrade his beginner knowledge to intermediate just yet.
Beginner, intermediate, advanced and finally master.
Most people are stuck at intermediate level only extremely talented breeders are able to become advanced level.
Master level are even more rare there being only a handful in the entire country.
During the last two weeks ryan has been training his pokemon for the battle arena.
Frogadier level 26
Charmeleon Level 24
Shinx Level 11
Shinx has now gotten used to battling from his spars with charmeleon and frogadier leveling up alot.
Unfortunately shinx isn't strong enough to use his lighting armor efficiently, despite its impressive physique and lighting power.
Charmeleon spent most of its time training his blaze ability not completely mastering it yet.
Frogadier trained his aqua cutter alot by battling wild pokemon, now he could make two blades, change there length and made them sharper and sturdier.
Overall ryan is pleased with there progress, they didnt level up as much as ryan would have liked but there foundations to there strength were better.
" ryan what are you doing today? Are you free?"
'Please be free, I want to take you somewhere today'
Yuki walked over to ryan hands behind her back lightly blushing.
"Oh sorry yuki, im actually planning on going to the battle arena, I got recommended by gym leader O'Neil."
Yuki face sad at first but then lit up with excitement.
" really! Can I come along aswell. My family was able to get me a membership aswell."
"Cool you want to go now?"
"Yes!"
Smiling brightly yuki grabs a confused ryan by his arm dragging him out of class.
Aron was watching them and heard that ryan was going to the battle arena.
'Perfect, ill send the family's trainers over there to teach him a lesson.'
Smirking aron leaves class aswell pulling out his phone to make the call.
---------pokemon battle arena------------
The pokemon battle arena was a large building that hand over 50 fields, a lounge and even a pokemon center for trainers pokemon to get healed up after battle.
"This place is cool."
"Yeah this is my first time aswell."
"Lets go sign in yuki, you battling today?"
"No not today, all my pokemon are home resting. They have been training hard lately."
" fair enough."
Both students walk over to the reception who greeted them with a smile.
"Hello there are you here to watch the pokemon matchs today."
"She is im hear to battle."
"Im sorry sir only professional trainers can register to the battle arena."
"I know, ive been given a recommendation by the gym leader of high rise city Jack O'Neil."
Ryan hands her a ID card for the battle arena that O'Neal sent over to him.
"Oh im sorry sir, we dont get many young people your age around here."
"Thats fine I understand."
"Well since this is your first time ill explain how the arena works."
"Everyone in the registered across the country is given a rank once they complete 20 matches."
"From there they can either randomly draw someone in your arena to battle that is simaler to your rank or choose who to battle."
"For unranked starters like you, it will pair you with the lowest ranked trainers here in the arena."
"Today we have 200 trainers battling today so there shoudl be plenty of people for you."
"Thank miss, where do I sign up to battle?"
"You can either ask me or use one of the terminals over there where you'll be given a number, just listen for it."
"Alright then, do you mind setting up my first match then."
"No problem sir, oh! We have an opening right now. Please go through there and go to battle field five, your oppenent should be making its way over in a minute."
Ryan and yuki thanked her walking over to the main area. The main area was filled with arenas with robot referees and benches by each field.
They walked to field five and a man with a sombrero meets them.
"Oh I am I having a match against you today?"
"Yep my names ryan. Your my first battle in the arena so take care of me."
"Im Jorge nice to meet you. Lets begin."
Ryan and Jorge goes to there sides with yuki sitting on the bench watching.
Ding-mission:battle arena rookie.

"Since its your first battle ill throw my pokemon out first."
Jorge throws out a lombre and ryan smirks seeing the pokemon and his new mission.

'Huh he isnt very strong?'
"Alright shinx its your first battle make it count!"
Ryan released shinx and it roared loudly for a pokemon its age. Yuki eyes widen having never seen ryan new pokemon or a shinx that big before.
"Oh a shinx. Are you sure? You said this is its first battle?"
"Dont worry, this is for shinx training."
"Alright then ill start off Lombre use water gun."
"Shinx use thunderbolt and charge in."
Lombre released a stream of water but shinx charged foward shooting a bolt of lightning pushing back and destroying its water gun.
"Good use thunder fang."
Shinx bolted through the remains of the water gun and thunderbolt clash electricity flowing from its fangs.
Unprepared by how fast shinx was lombre had gotten bitten by shinx getting electrocuted.
" lombre!"
"Throw it back and use thunderbolt again."
Still gripping lombre arm shinx spins and lets go before unleashing a thunderbolt at Lumbre.
It yells out in pain before fainting with swirls in its eyes.
"Lumbre! Oh shit!"
Jorge returned his lombre with a sigh before walking over and hold his hand out to shake.
"Good match, you have serious potential kid."
"Thanks."
Ryan said simply before petting shinx on his his and returning it to its pokeball.
Ding-mission complete: Defeat first your first opponent in battle arean.

Walking over to yuki who was smiling at him ryan had a question in his head.
"Hey yuki, Mr.O'Neil said this is way to make money, how though ?"
"Oh when you win a match you earn points depending on your oppenents rank."
"Those points can be exchanged for lots of things, money, items, TM and even pokemon."
"Unfortunately the better stuff are thousands of points and right now you won't earn much."
"I see, how do I know how much I have?"
"At the terminal or the front desk."
"Lets see how many I made with this match."
They walked back to the front and loaded ryans ID into the terminal, it showed he only had 10 points.
"Lets go check out the exchange counter, its where you can use your points."
Ryan nodded as they moved over to another room where there potions, pokeblocks and other items around.
Looking over to the back he could see a bored looking employee.
"Hello can you tell me the exchange rate for points to money."
"Sigh, a newbie huh. Well its a one for ten exchange. If you got hundred points you have ten dollars."
"Huh the rate isnt that freat for making money, do you sell pokeblock ingredients?"
"Yes though we won't make them for you, most commen ingredients are going to be three to five points."
"Perfect thank you for the help."
"Whatever."
Yuki and ryan walked away as yuki had confused look.
" why did you ask him about the ingredients? Wouldn't it just be cheaper to buy?"
"Well yes it would, but in the long run I can train my pokemon and save money by buying ingredients with points."
"Money tight right now with three pokemon and as soon as I leave the academy myself family will stop giving me a stipend."
"Wait really!?"
"Yeah sigh, they didnt even want to give me the little amount of money I have now."
"The only reason I was able to support any pokemon is because I saved a lot and live in the woods."
" thats kind of sad. If you need any help the LEE family will provide support."
"Thank you for the offer but I dont want to be Reliant on anyway, its better that way."
"Okay but the offer still stands. Come on lets go battle more."
Yuki grabs ryans hand and starts running to the terminal.
