Chapter 27 - Chapter 25: Oscar Jules

"Uh…. Boss about him, I am currently in the process of recruiting him but that Oscar Jules simply isn't willing no matter how much try. I literally offered him the best salary along with a big bonus but he didn't budge at all."

Forren exclaimed, sighing repeatedly in frustration. The fact that he was the first person, Sarina had asked her to poach and recruit yet she had failed to do so didn't really fit well with her.

That guy had really become a headache for her at the moment. Even in front of such appealing conditions, he wasn't willing to jump their boat.

"There is nothing in this world that can't be bought, including human's loyalty and talent. You just haven't offered him what he needs the most. The next time you meet him, show him the resort project and tell him that if he is willing to come over, then this project is his to lead."

Sarina conceitedly told her. She was very confident that Oscar Jules wouldn't refuse once he saw the project.

After all, he was the one who had initially come up with the idea of resorts and was even later known as the resort king later in her previous life.

She may have taken his idea but she definitely possibly can't take away his talent and business acumen that had once made him a business legend.

Rather than having him as her strongest competitor in the future, she would instead prefer him to be the strongest blade by her side against the enemies.

Besides, with him taking the helm, she would no longer have to worry about failure. After all, she had an absolute trust in his talent and abilities.

"I will handle it accordingly. Any further instructions boss?" Nodding, Forren asked, her eyes filled with reverence as she looked at little girl she had sworn to follow.

"None for now. Try to recruit everyone in that list by the end of this month and start with all the operations I had previously instructed. By the end to this year, everyone in the Capital City should know what Ash Global Investments is."

Sarina seriously exclaimed; her voice and eyes firm and resolute as she gave Forren a last glance before bidding her farewell for the time being.

Left alone, slumped back in chair, her clothes drenched in sweat after such a serious conversation with Sarina.

She still couldn't understand how can such a young girl have such strong presence that even she, who had been in the business world for seven years could feel her soul shivering just from her one glance.

'That is the boss that I, Forren Melen deserves to follow.'

Forren proudly thought, hurriedly packing her things and happily rushing back home to complete all the remaining tasks Sarina had assigned to her.

On the other hand, Sarina, after returning to her room, quickly laid down on the extra mattress they had borrowed from the hotel and immediately entered the pocket dimension.

Entering inside her study room, Sarina took her seat after selecting her first lesson of the day.

"Sister Angel, me buying a company can also be considered as a type of shopping, right?"

She suddenly asked; her words stumbling Angel who was happily playing around in the space. Angel paused, pondering over the sudden question by her host.

[It definitely can be considered as shopping. But why are you asking this Ina?]

Angel replied, feeling very curious to find out what exactly was going through Sarina's head.

Sarina, upon getting the reply she wanted, smirked and excitedly continued to ask;

"If buying a company can actually be considered as shopping then it means that I can use the ten times shopping cash back card on it, right?"

Sarina excitedly asked, leaving Angel totally bewildered and doubtful on how to answer. By common sense, what Sarina said was obviously wrong but according to logic, she obviously found the perfect loop whole in the system rewards.

Angel kept quiet, thinking over on how to reply to her host's question and Sarina, also understanding dilemma didn't rush her to answer.

Afterall, she was just trying to test out and push her luck by asking this. She, herself wasn't a hundred percent sure whether this will work in her favor or not.

Since she had very less time before the Montclair family come looking for her, she needed to built a power that could restrain them as soon as possible.

And for that she needed money and the easiest and the fastest way to achieve that was through the system.

What she was actually unaware of was the floating figure of Angel who was silently observing her from behind as she got serious when the first professor of the day appeared in front of her.

Angel knew how important all of this was to Sarina and also knew that because of the main system's restrictions, she actually hadn't been that much of a help to her till now.

Now that Sarina herself had found such a perfect loop whole in the system's reward that even she, the spirit of it couldn't argue against, Angel also decided to turn a blind eye to it as well.

After all, what she lacked the least was money. Letting her host take a slight advantage from it wasn't actually that much of a problem.

Watching as Sarina completed the last class of the day, Angel happily announced;

[Host, you can use the ten times shopping cash back card after buying the company.]

Sarina, who initially hadn't held much hope and obviously very happy with such a pleasant news.

"Really!!! Oh, you are great sister Angel, literally the best. Thank you so much." Sarina excitedly exclaimed.

With these additional funds, all her plans could easily be brought forward. Planning her next course of actions, Sarina went back to sleep.

The next day, Sarina woke up early according to her biological clock and decided to go for a run in the park nearby since it was still very early.

Changing her clothes, Sarina left a message to her parents to let them know about her location before happily stepping out of the hotel.

Breathing in the familiar smell of the city, she played the French vocabulary she had been learning recently, and started to run on her regular pace completely unaware of the two eyes that had been following all her movements.

Those eyes continued to observe all her activities as ran by the path, had headphones easily blocking all the noises surrounding her as she happily got lost in her own world.

An hour passed by before Sarina decided to call it a day and sat down on a nearby bench, huffing, truly exhausted.

Taking a short break, she looked around as number of people in the park continued to increase as the time passed by.

Standing up, she stretched her body a little, ready to go back to the hotel when she felt her stomach growling. Since she had very early dinner and later slept late as well and along with this tiring run, it was no wonder she felt this hungry.

'Oh well! It seems I have to fill my stomach first. I should just get something from the stalls nearby to calm down my hunger a little and then can proper breakfast with others later.'

Sarina thought, happily making her way to the food stalls. Looking at the long line of food vendors, she decided to get a quick sandwich.

"One chicken sandwich please."

Walking towards the closest stall that an old couple ran, she ordered.

The old couple, who had just finished setting up their stall looked up and were pleasantly delighted by the to see such a beautiful girl as their first customer.

"Coming right up." The old man said as he immediately got busy in his work.

Eating her sandwich, Sarina quickly paid for it and walked towards her hotel after politely thanking them.

"Ahh! What a sweet, polite and beautiful girl. How much I wish she was my own grand-daughter." Staring at Sarina's back, the old lady sighed and exclaimed.

"Old lady we already have three grandsons already and they are also very filial. Having them is enough." The old man replied back, cleaning the tables around.

"I am not complaining. I t's just that I had always wanted a daughter but only have one son and three grandsons. A house without a daughter always feels a little deserted."

The old lady said, her words filled with longing for a granddaughter. Especially after seeing the beautiful Sarina, this feeling got even more stronger.

"But we can't do anything about that. You can give birth to a daughter at this age and our daughter-in-law also won't be willing at her age. We can now only pin our hopes to our eldest grandson at the moment."

The old man told her, trying to pacify his wife's rising emotions.

"Don't even mention that boy's name. I get headache every time a think about him. He is already 22 and doesn't even have a girlfriend."

The old lady angrily replied back, her anger rising as she thought of her single grandson.

"You ….." The old man wanted to reply back when the other customers began to appear, halting their discussion as they both quickly got busy with their work.

Completely unaware of discussion her presence had caused, Sarina was calmly walking back to her hotel when she suddenly felt her instincts flare as she turned around only to see everything black as she lost her consciousness.

Only a single thought in mind,

'What just happened to me!?'
