Even before they fully touched the ground, monsters slithered out from the ground. The kinshi are humanoid in some way, but they walk on their four legs, their heads shaped like dried skulls, with their bodies made from a combination of scales and brown leather-like skin.
Four times bigger than the biggest human, they loomed over the four coffins, reaching out with claws as big as a human leg to touch the shield and try to get at the life force meat underneath, but it was like clawing at solid steel.
One of them tried to smash the shield, and Azaroth wasn't sure if he wanted it to succeed or not. But as it turned out, Taiwo's shield was more powerful than it looked, and it didn't even flicker. They couldn't push the coffin either; it was as if it had been locked into a single place.
