The next day was Sunday.And in a Christian home ,the way we renew faith weekly is by going to Church .We dressed up for church leaving early because the service was around 8'Oclock.
After the church service ,we went home . Everyone to their room and on the house rules.Oh ,yes we do have ones which are typically made for l and Avern by her mum.
The rules includes,'No fight'
'If you go out that stay out for more than six hours and be sure to get back by 5 pm '
'lf you have a friend both male and female bring report to me before bringing them over'
And this continues to go on of which am bored with .But having that l live in their house l will or must obey the rules and today's rule was to clean our rooms.
It took a while before it was completed.
I brought out my notes ,my diary and my homework calender .My homework was two that was incomplete and one was chemistry with the topic that wasn't easily understood and the first thought that came to my mind was to call Steven.
"Nah,am not going to do that "l said loudly to myself.l stood towards the drawer pullout a snack .
"Wait let me call Jennie"l picked up my phone and scroll down to her name .
"Hi girl"she said
"Ermm..l have got this question on chemistry and l can't really solve it ,can you help me with it?"
"Oh,am sorry but am not at home,l went out with dad but you can call Steven"
"Thank you "l replied reluctantly
"Well,l guess l will give up and just call him"l whispered to myself
The phone rang for about a minute before he picked up.
"Stev,can you help me with the work?"
"Which one ?"he asked immediately
"The chemistry one basically"
"Oh,l can't solve it but my brother can"
"Brother??,who is he?"
"Paslyn,oh ,l didn't tell that's my fault"
"I think you should let him teach you so that you can teach me"
"You know basically that it won't work as am bad with chemistry,so are you in or out?"
My mood became dim and having that l needed the homework completed l reluctantly said yes.
He muted the call whilst he transferred it to Paslyn.
Paslyn was in his nighty,his hair was rough as it indicates that it's owner is unbothered
"Hi,how can l help you?"came a deep voice
My face blushed,my eyes was eager to see more
"Ermmh....l will",l tried talking but words couldn't come out.
"Oh , Steven told me about it ,and if you are ready let's start"he said staring at another screen
"I think am ready"l said my face becoming embarrassed.
"So the idea with it is dividing the molecular mass given by the molecular mass you have with solved and it will give a number .Then you can draw the structure,did you understand what am saying?"
"Yeah,l did "l said readjusting to my seat
That's it,he has captivated me but l won't say he did actually succeed.
I have been watching how his mouth opens and closes,his gap tooth,his facial features accompanying how he talks.
He has a manly attitude at this point which made my jaw to drop while he teach.
"Now,solve the next one"he said staring into my eyes sternly
"Oh ,my days he looks cool"l whispered to myself
"What did you say?"
"Nothing"l replied looking at the next question
I carefully solve the question.He ask me to repeat any step which is not right .
"Now ,l think you are okay with it bye"he said after the question which we answered together.He ended the call
"That's rude"l screamed
