CHAPTER 1: The Grumpy CEO and His Clumsy Analyst

The 50th floor of Sterling Horizon Investments was always dead quiet. Everyone walked on eggshells, afraid to make a single sound because of one man: Tristan Anderson.

He was known as the Ice Prince. He fired people on the spot for minor mistakes, never smiled, and his glare could make grown men cry.

Except when it came to Angel Cruz.

Angel was busy checking her investment report when her seatmate nudged her. "Girl, good luck! The Big Boss is asking for the report. Don't trip or stutter okay?"

Angel took a deep breath and walked towards the CEO's office. She was nervous, but also a little giddy. She had a huge crush on her boss, even if he looked like he hated everyone.

When she opened the door, Tristan was sitting behind his huge desk, looking at his laptop with that famous cold expression.

"M-Mr. Anderson, here's the report," Angel said, extending the folder. But because she was too nervous, her foot caught the edge of the carpet, and she stumbled forward.

Instead of falling face first on the floor, she landed straight on Tristan's lap.

The room went silent. Angel's face turned bright red. She tried to stand up but knocked over a cup of coffee, spilling it all over Tristan's expensive white shirt.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! I'm so clumsy I—" Angel rambled, panicking and trying to wipe the coffee with her hands, only making it worse.

Tristan didn't get angry. He just stared at her, and for the first time in years, a small smile appeared on his face. He held her waist to stop her from moving.

"It's okay," he said, his voice soft, nothing like the scary voice everyone knew. "You can stay there a little longer if you want."

Angel's eyes went wide. Wait… did her grumpy boss just flirt with her?

CHAPTER 2: We're Dating!

It turned out Tristan had liked Angel for months already. He loved how she was always nice to everyone, how she laughed loudly at her own jokes, and how she didn't treat him like a celebrity or a wallet, just like a normal person.

A week after the coffee incident, Tristan asked her out. They dated secretly for a few months, and it was the funniest, sweetest relationship ever.

Tristan would act all cold and strict during meetings, but as soon as everyone left, he would cling to Angel like a baby.

"Babe, carry me," he would say, pretending to be tired.

"You're a 6 foot tall CEO! Walk by yourself!" Angel would laugh, but she would hold his hand anyway.

She started calling him "My Lovely Boyfriend", and it became her favorite line. Every time she said it, Tristan's heart would do flips.

One day, they accidentally revealed their relationship. Vanessa, Tristan's ex, came to the office uninvited, screaming and causing a scene.

"Tristan! How dare you ignore me! Who is this girl? She's just your employee!" Vanessa shouted, pointing at Angel.

Before Angel could speak, Tristan walked over, wrapped his arm around her waist, and glared at Vanessa.

"She's not just an employee. She's my girlfriend. And if you ever shout at her again, I'll have you escorted out," he said firmly. Then he looked at Angel, his face softening immediately. "Are you okay, my lovely angel?"

The whole office gasped. Then Carlo, Angel's brother who was visiting her for lunch, shouted from the back: "YES! FINALLY! I WON THE BET!"

Everyone laughed, and that was how the whole company found out their scary CEO was actually a whipped boyfriend.

CHAPTER 3: Six Enemies and Their Dumb Plans

Happiness always attracts jealous people. Soon, the six villains teamed up to destroy their relationship and Tristan's company.

Their first plan: Spread rumors that Angel was just a gold digger who was only after Tristan's money.

Samantha and Bianca went around the office gossiping: "Did you know? Angel's family is so poor, she's just using Tristan!"

But then, Tristan posted a photo on his social media: It was him, sitting at Angel's small dining table, eating adobo with his hands, sauce all over his expensive suit, with Angel and her family laughing beside him. The caption said: "Best meal ever, with the best family. Money can't buy this."

Everyone started calling the villains jealous losers.

Their second plan: Frame Angel for making a wrong investment decision that would lose the company millions. Leo Diaz tried to change the files, but he was so clumsy he accidentally saved the changes as "STOLE FILES FROM ANGEL" and sent it to the whole company email by mistake.

Third plan: Marcus Villar tried to steal Tristan's client, but he copied Tristan's presentation word for word, even including the inside joke Tristan made about Angel's love for milk tea. The clients just laughed and said "Are you copying Tristan Anderson? Even his girlfriend references?"

All their plans were so dumb, they kept failing one by one, and each time they ended up embarrassing themselves more.

CHAPTER 4: All's Well That Ends Well

After months of trying, the six villains finally got what they deserved.

- Leo got fired and was banned from working in any finance company.

- Bianca and Samantha were terminated too, and no one wanted to hire them because of their bad reputation.

- Vanessa and Jake tried to run away but got caught for defamation and had to pay huge fines.

- Marcus's company went bankrupt, and last time anyone saw him, he was selling milk tea by the street (ironic right?).

Everything went back to normal, and Tristan and Angel's love only grew stronger. Tristan's parents loved Angel so much, they kept asking when they would get married.

CHAPTER 5: Forever My Lovely Boyfriend

One year later, on a beautiful beach, Tristan prepared a surprise.

He brought Angel to the shore, where there were flowers and lights, and both their families were waiting.

Tristan got down on one knee, holding a beautiful ring.

"Angel, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. Before you, my life was just work and stress. You brought laughter, love, and so much happiness into my world. You make me want to be a better man every single day. I don't just want to be your lovely boyfriend for now… I want to be your lovely husband, your lovely father to our kids, your lovely everything for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?"

Angel was crying happy tears, nodding so fast. "Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"

They kissed as everyone cheered. Carlo was already making a wedding hashtag, and their parents were already planning the big day.

A few months later, they had the most beautiful wedding. Angel looked like an angel, and Tristan couldn't stop staring at her, smiling the whole time.

During the reception, Angel took the microphone and said: "I have the best boyfriend in the world… well now, he's my husband. I love you so much, my lovely boyfriend forever."

Tristan walked up to her, kissed her forehead, and whispered: "And I love you more, my lovely angel."

Five years later.

Tristan was still the successful CEO of Sterling Horizon, but he was now also a proud father of two cute kids. They lived happily, surrounded by love and laughter.

Every night, before sleeping, Angel would still call him the same endearment she used since the start:

"Good night, my lovely boyfriend."

And Tristan would smile, hold her close, and reply:

"Good night, my forever love."

CHAPTER 6: Our Perfect Little Chaos

Five years into marriage, life with Tristan was everything Angel ever dreamed of… plus a whole lot of messy, loud, perfect chaos.

Their two kids were the exact mix of both of them:

Liam Anderson, 4 years old, was a carbon copy of his father. Same sharp eyes, same habit of wearing tiny button-down shirts, same cold glare that could make the maids giggle and run away. The only difference? He melted into a clingy little baby the moment Angel called his name.

Lila Anderson, 2 years old, was Angel's twin. Same bright smile, same love for milk tea and sweets, same tendency to trip over her own feet. She was the princess of the house, and both Tristan and Liam would move mountains just to make her happy.

One typical morning, Tristan was already dressed in his tailored suit, looking all strict and handsome CEO-like, until Lila ran up to him with a crayon.

"Dada! Color!" she squealed, drawing a bright pink mustache on his face before he could even react.

Angel burst out laughing, immediately taking a photo for her gallery. "Oh my god! You look so cute! My lovely boyfriend looks like a walking strawberry!"

Tristan sighed dramatically but didn't wipe it off. "Only you and your daughter can make me go to a board meeting looking like this, baby. If my employees ask, I'll tell them it's the new luxury trend."

And true enough, he walked into his big meeting that day with a pink mustache, and all the directors were too scared to even smile. Only when Angel came to pick him up for lunch did she call out across the lobby: "Hey my lovely boyfriend! Lunch time!"

The whole office froze, then started giggling. Tristan just grinned, walked over to her and kissed her cheek like nothing was wrong. "Yes my love, coming right up."

CHAPTER 7: Where Are The Villains Now?

Years had passed since the six antagonists tried to ruin their lives, and now their stories were so funny and pathetic, they might as well have been in a comedy show.

One weekend, Angel and Tristan went to the mall for groceries, and they ran into all of them one by one:

- Vanessa Montes was now selling fake skincare products at a small kiosk. She wore a too-tight dress and shouted "Clear skin in 3 days!" at passersby. When she saw Tristan and Angel, she tried to act cool but tripped over her own 6-inch heels.

- Samantha Reyes worked as a cashier at a clothing store. She tried to ignore them but accidentally scanned the same item five times in a row out of shock.

- Bianca Sy was an insurance agent, but no one wanted to buy from her because everyone still remembered how mean she was back at Sterling.

And the boys?

- Marcus Villar was still selling milk tea, but he named his shop "Tristan Tea" and copied everything from the cup design to the menu. The only problem? He put way too much sugar, so no one ever came back for a second order.

- Jake Montes worked as a delivery rider for Marcus's shop. He was always late and always spilled the drinks, so he got yelled at every single day.

- Leo Diaz was a bookkeeper at a small hardware store, but he still made silly mistakes like writing ₱10,000 instead of ₱100, so his boss was always mad at him.

When they all saw Tristan and Angel walking hand in hand, happy, rich, and so in love, they just sighed and looked away. All their jealousy and schemes were for nothing. Tristan didn't just have money—he had the one thing none of them ever had: real, unconditional love.

CHAPTER 8: Anniversary Date Disaster

Tristan planned a perfect date night for their 5th wedding anniversary. He booked the most expensive restaurant in the city, hired a violin player, and told his entire staff not to disturb him for anything.

But of course, nothing ever goes smoothly when you're married to Angel and have two little kids.

First, Liam got a slight fever, so they had to wait until he fell asleep and asked Angel's mom to babysit. They arrived at the restaurant 45 minutes late.

Then, just as Tristan was about to give Angel his gift, a waiter accidentally spilled a whole bowl of mushroom soup all over her beautiful white dress.

"Oh no!" Angel gasped, then burst out laughing. "Wow! This is just like the time I spilled coffee on you at the office! Remember that, my lovely boyfriend?"

Tristan laughed too, wiping the soup off her dress with his own handkerchief. "Of course I remember. That was the best day of my life, because that's when I knew I wanted you all to myself."

They didn't care about the ruined dress, or the late time, or the people staring. They cancelled the fancy menu and ordered pizza instead, sitting there and talking for hours like they were just two kids in love.

Tristan pulled out a small velvet box, and inside was a diamond necklace with a pendant engraved with "My Lovely Boyfriend".

"I know we're married now," he said, holding her hand. "But you will always be my girlfriend first. No matter how many years pass, you'll still call me that, right?"

Angel teared up, nodding fast. "Forever. You'll always be my lovely boyfriend."

CHAPTER 9: The Biggest Surprise

A few months later, Angel had a secret of her own. She found out she was pregnant with their third baby, and she planned the perfect surprise for Tristan's birthday.

She invited all their family and friends, ordered a huge lechon, and set up a party in their backyard. Even Tristan's parents and Angel's whole family were there, buzzing with excitement.

When it was time for the cake, Angel brought Liam and Lila forward, each holding a big sign.

Liam's sign said: "Best Dad & Best CEO"

Lila's sign said: "Soon to be Big Sister!"

Tristan frowned, confused. Then Angel walked up to him, holding an ultrasound photo, and grinned.

"Surprise, my lovely boyfriend! We're having another baby!"

The whole yard erupted in cheers. Tristan's eyes went wide, then he picked Angel up and spun her around, laughing so hard his eyes teared up. He kissed her over and over again, not caring that everyone was watching.

"Really? This is the best gift I've ever gotten!" he said, resting his hand gently on her tummy. "Another little angel or another little boss? Either way, we're ready."

Carlo, Angel's brother, shouted from the back: "YES! I WON THE BET! I TOLD YOU GUYS THEY'D HAVE THREE KIDS!"

FINAL EPILOGUE: 20 Years Later

Twenty years flew by in the blink of an eye.

Tristan was 48 years old now, still handsome, still the owner of Sterling Horizon, but he had already passed most of the work to Liam, who was now 24 and just as smart and strict as his dad. Lila was 22, a successful fashion designer, and their youngest, Mia, was 18 and just graduated high school.

One quiet night, the whole family had just finished dinner. The kids were laughing and chatting, their parents were sitting by the porch, all old, gray-haired, and happy.

Tristan sat down next to Angel, holding her hand. Her hair had strands of silver now, but to him, she was still the same clumsy, beautiful girl he fell in love with in that office so many years ago.

Angel leaned her head on his shoulder, and whispered like she always did, every single night:

"Good night, my lovely boyfriend."

Tristan smiled, kissing the top of her head, and replied softly

CHAPTER 10: Forever My Favorite Person

Tristan smiled, kissing the top of her head, and replied softly, "Good night, my lovely angel… for this life, and all the next ones."

From the living room window, their three kids peeked and giggled.

"Ewwww, they're still being cheesy at their age!" 18-year-old Mia complained, but her eyes were sparkling.

"Wait till you find someone who looks at you like Dad looks at Mom," 24-year-old Liam said, adjusting his glasses exactly like his dad used to. "Then you'll understand."

That weekend, they were cleaning out the old attic when they found a box full of memories. There was the crumpled investment report Angel spilled coffee on way back then, the photo of Tristan with the pink mustache, even old news clippings of the six villains' silly failed schemes.

"Look at this!" Angel laughed, pulling out an old photo of Vanessa posing with her fake skincare products. "Remember how she thought she was the queen of the world?"

Tristan chuckled, wrapping his arm around her waist. "She was nothing compared to you. You were always the only queen I saw."

Just then, Tristan's phone rang. It was their old admin, calling to say there was a former employees' gathering… and guess who asked to come? All six of them.

CHAPTER 11: The Funniest Reunion

The event was held at Sterling Horizon's grand hall. Tristan and Angel walked in hand in hand, looking elegant and happy, and everyone greeted them warmly.

Then came the six ex-villains, looking so nervous they almost tripped over their own feet:

- Vanessa Montes wore a fancy dress that was clearly too tight, and she kept smoothing it down awkwardly. When she saw Angel, she forced a small smile. "H-Hi… you look amazing."

- Samantha and Bianca hid at the back holding plates of food, too shy to come over until Angel waved them over warmly.

- Marcus Villar brought samples of his "new and improved" milk tea. "Try it! I swear I lowered the sugar this time!" He gave a cup to Tristan, who took one sip and almost choked. It was still way too sweet.

- Jake Montes carried Marcus' cooler like a loyal sidekick, and Leo Diaz held a notebook where he'd already written wrong numbers just from nervousness.

Turns out they didn't come to cause trouble. They hit rock bottom after all their schemes failed, and no one wanted to hire them because of their bad records. They came to beg for a second chance.

Tristan looked at Angel, and she nodded with that kind, soft smile of hers.

"Alright," Tristan said. "We have openings. But no more silly plans, okay? Work hard, and you stay."

They got jobs that fit them perfectly:

Vanessa became an event coordinator (she was actually great at planning parties), Samantha and Bianca worked in customer service, Marcus opened a small milk tea corner in the company canteen (this time Angel supervised the sugar level), Jake became a company delivery rider, and Leo became a stock clerk (they made sure to double-check all his numbers).

It was so funny seeing them turn over a new leaf! Sometimes they even laughed at their old stupid schemes together during lunch breaks.

CHAPTER 12: The Name That Never Changed

Years kept passing, faster and faster.

Tristan retired at 60, passing the company fully to Liam, who turned out just as strict but just as kind as his dad. Lila opened her own fashion brand, Mia became a lawyer, and all of them started their own little families. The Anderson house was always full of grandkids running around, screaming and laughing.

But one thing never, ever changed.

Every morning, Angel would bring Tristan his coffee, and say: "Good morning, my lovely boyfriend."

Every night, they would sit on the porch watching the sunset, and Tristan would hold her wrinkled hand, and say: "Good night, my lovely angel."

Even when their hair was all white, even when Tristan walked a little slower, even when Angel still tripped over the living room rug every now and then, that endearment stayed. It was more than just a nickname. It was their promise, their love story, their whole life.

On their 50th wedding anniversary, their whole family and friends gathered. Their youngest grandkid, only 5 years old, asked them: "Lola, Lolo, why do you still call each other boyfriend and girlfriend? You're husband and wife! And you're old now!"

Angel and Tristan looked at each other and laughed, then answered in unison:

"Because being in love is not just about titles or age. It's about choosing each other, every single day. He will always be my lovely boyfriend… and I will always be his lovely angel."

That night, under the stars, Tristan pulled out a small ring, exactly like the one he gave her 50 years ago.

"I love you more today than I did yesterday, but not as much as I will tomorrow," he whispered.

Angel smiled, leaning into his arms just like she did a million times before.

"I love you too, my lovely boyfriend. Forever."
