Naris was filled with remorse at this moment, deeply regretting the wrong decision she had made back then.
If she had known earlier that the Lord of the Crimson Wings possessed such terrifying strength, she would have led the entire tribe to submit immediately.
She would have had the most beautiful maidens in the tribe hold Poison Scale Flowers and kneel respectfully before the gates of the Molten Iron Tribe to welcome them; she would have charged into battle without hesitation whenever the Molten Iron Tribe needed support, instead of being indecisive and sitting on the sidelines like she was now, only to end up facing a reckoning.
"A wrong choice, now to be repaid with blood."
She sighed heavily in her heart.
The Six-Armed Snake Woman slowly lowered all her arms, her sharp blades no longer pointed at Iron Dragon Sorog.
"This was not my intention."
She bowed her head and said to the Iron Dragon in a humble tone:
"Noble Iron King, the Poison Tail Tribe is willing to submit and offer eternal loyalty. No matter what price must be paid, I implore you to forgive our previous ignorant offense."
Seeing the Snake Woman show a submissive posture, the Iron Dragon nodded slightly and said in a deep voice: "It seems you do not wish to see the Snake Man tribe destroyed here."
But then his tone shifted, his voice becoming cold and resolute: "However, allegiance obtained without conquest is too easy; it is hard to satisfy the warriors of the Molten Iron Tribe."
"They have sharpened their claws and teeth, and are thirsting for the baptism of battle and blood."
The Six-Armed Snake Woman's pupils suddenly contracted, and a chill surged in her heart.
Immediately after, she heard the Iron Dragon's deep voice continue: "Naris, are you ready to accept conquest?"
The Snake Woman was silent for a moment, and finally nodded slowly and heavily.
Whoosh—! The Iron Dragon suddenly flapped his wings and soared into the sky.
"Attack!"
Following this command, the Molten Iron behemoths took unstoppable strides once again, advancing toward the Ten Thousand Snakes Swamp.
The Six-Armed Snake Woman's weapons repeatedly gripped and released in her hands, but in the end, she suppressed the urge to strike.
Soon, the Molten Iron Legion and the warriors of the Snake Man tribe clashed in close quarters.
The Dire Tiger let out a thunderous roar, flesh flying wherever its sharp claws passed; the might of a Lord-level Vicious Beast was unstoppable. The Centaurs' iron hooves trampled the earth, their spears piercing through the bodies of the Snake Men like lightning; the Ogres' giant clubs smashed poisonous snakes and giant pythons into pulp; the Werewolves' claws easily tore through the throats of the Snake Men. The defense line of the Poison Tail Tribe collapsed almost upon contact, and the battlefield presented a one-sided situation.
In terms of the strength of The Borderlands tribes, this performance was truly unsatisfactory.
But there was a reason for this—including the Six-Armed Snake Woman leader, the Poison Tail Tribe's Advanced leaders, powerful Psions, and shamans were all under her restraint and did not fight back with full force. They only passively defended against the attacks of the Molten Iron soldiers, retreating step by step without any Battle Intent.
Finally, after paying the price of countless lives, the entire swamp was dyed red with blood.
"Those who surrender shall live!"
The Iron Dragon circled in the sky, his dragon roar echoing across the battlefield like thunder.
The surviving Snake Men, already dominated by fear, abandoned their weapons one after another and prostrated themselves in the blood-soaked swamp.
The Six-Armed Snake Woman was among them.
She was specifically targeted by the Dire Tiger. Because she only defended and did not attack, and the Sword Saint path was not good at defense to begin with, her body was covered in hideous wounds left by the Dire Tiger.
With her skin torn and flesh exposed, she looked pale and appeared exceptionally fragile at this moment.
Iron Dragon Sorog landed on the ground again.
He used his massive dragon claw to lift the Snake Woman's chin, making her stand up again with her long, winding snake tail.
"Naris, you made a wise choice this time."
The Iron Dragon's voice struck directly at her soul, making the Snake Woman feel relieved, and her long-tensed nerves were finally able to relax.
After this battle, the population of the Poison Tail Tribe was reduced by more than half.
But because of the Six-Armed Snake Woman's final wise choice, they avoided the fate of complete destruction and were able to continue their Bloodline.
"Being able to submit to the noble Dragon Clan is the glory of us Snake Men."
"From now on, the Poison Tail Snake Men will forever submit beneath the Dragon's wings, at your beck and call."
The Sword Saint removed all weapons, and the long swords fell to the ground one after another.
The Snake Woman flicked her forked tongue, looking up at the Iron Dragon's majestic head while gently licking the Iron Dragon's cold, hard claw tip with the tip of her tongue.
"This naturally includes me."
She declared thus.
Naris saw blazing desire and aggression in the Iron Dragon's eyes.
She did not resist this, but instead felt a trace of relief—if not for this, the Poison Tail Tribe might have suffered even crueler treatment.
Solrog lowered his eyes and gazed at the Snake Woman.
Although the Six-Armed Snake Woman was covered in wounds at this moment, her beauty was not diminished in the slightest; the strong contrast between the blood and her snow-white skin instead gave her a thrilling, battle-damaged beauty.
The Iron Dragon let out heavy gasps, but soon returned to calm.
To the Snake Woman's surprise, the burning desire in the Iron Dragon's eyes gradually faded, replaced by a gaze of scrutiny as if admiring a work of art.
Why was there such a change? The Snake Woman was filled with doubt.
Was her charm insufficient? Or had the Iron Dragon before her not yet mastered Polymorph, worrying that he might hurt her?
"A Sword Saint's Physique is enough to withstand the onslaught of any storm."
The Snake Woman reminded him pointedly: "Iron King, you need not worry."
She knew well that the Poison Tail Tribe was not well-regarded due to their previous wrong choice.
In her view, gaining the Iron Dragon's favor was a good thing for the tribe.
As she spoke, the Snake Woman's eyes shifted, her snake tail raised slightly, brushing across the Iron Dragon's chest as if intentionally or unintentionally.
She used all her powers of seduction.
She could feel the hardness and heat of the scales, but the other party remained unmoved.
"Beauty is like a steel blade scraping the bone; it will corrode a warrior's will."
The Iron Dragon released his claws, letting the cold snake tail wander across his chest.
No change in expression could be seen on his cold, hard dragon face, and he said with a blazing gaze: "Before I have complete control over my own desires, I will not touch any female."
"It would affect my judgment and shake my resolve."
Solrog knew very well that his resistance to desire was not as strong as Garros'.
Once indulgence began, influenced by the Dragonkin Bloodline, he would likely become addicted and unable to extricate himself.
Since that was the case, it was better to stay away for now. To avoid making unwise decisions due to the influence of desire.
Conquering a powerful female, watching her go from resistance to submission, and even actively seducing, was certainly pleasurable.
However, the grand ambition of establishing a Dragonkin kingdom was Iron Dragon Sorog's true pursuit; compared to this ambition, everything else had to give way.
"Besides, I understand your thoughts."
"You are not submitting to me sincerely, but merely bowing your head to the Molten Iron Tribe out of the pressure of the situation."
The Iron Dragon pointed out calmly: "I am not satisfied with this kind of incomplete conquest, but one day, Naris, you will come to me sincerely."
Hearing these words, the Six-Armed Snake Woman's eyes flickered, not expecting the Dragonkin before her to have such self-control.
A Dragonkin who knew how to restrain desire. Compared to those roaring, indulgent Dragons, Naris suddenly felt that the adolescent Iron Dragon before her appeared even more unfathomable.
But the problem was, as far as Naris knew, even this Iron King was only the second-in-command in the Molten Iron Tribe.
Above him was that Lord of the Crimson Wings who made the Poison Tail Tribe tremble with fear and swept across The Borderlands.
The Iron King was already so extraordinary. What kind of demeanor must that Lord of the Crimson Wings have?
The Snake Woman suddenly asked: "If it were the master of the Molten Iron Tribe standing here, how would he treat me?"
This sudden question surprised even Naris herself. Perhaps it was because the Iron Dragon mentioned "sincerely" that she couldn't help but be curious about how that more powerful Lord of the Crimson Wings would view her submission.
Hearing this question, Iron Dragon Sorog looked the Snake Woman up and down carefully, and suddenly let out a snort: "In his eyes, you and it wouldn't have much difference, or perhaps even less than it."
The "it" here referred to the Dire Tiger, which was baring its fangs and brandishing its claws nearby.
Years of being together made Solrog know his brother inside and out.
Garros appeared to have no great ambition, always focused on improving his own strength, living a peaceful and fulfilling life.
But as a Psion, Solrog could faintly perceive that beneath the calm exterior of that Red-Iron Dragon lay a raging fire capable of burning the world to ashes.
The Iron Dragon longed to establish a Dragonkin kingdom, but he also understood that even the grandest kingdom would eventually collapse.
And his brother's true pursuit in the depths of his heart was eternal life, a status comparable to the gods, and immortality that transcended the stars.
"I am not even as good as a Dire Tiger?"
The Snake Woman looked toward the Dire Tiger, which was tearing at the corpse of a giant python with its claws, and said in astonishment, not quite believing it.
Iron Dragon Sorog sneered and said: "Of course, he has long since transcended low-level interests. His will is like steel, unbreakable. A Snake Woman like you, he would only regard with disdain."
