Chapter 230 - Out in the World, Your Identity Is What You Give Yourself; Borrowing a Tiger's Might. [Bonus]

As the horizon turned the color of a fish's belly, Deborah lay nearby taking a nap, while the Red-Iron Dragon was communicating with the Iron Dragon Sorog through a Projection Stone.

"An Adult Silver Dragon was here?"

"How dangerous. It's fortunate you were in Dragon Valley and managed to steady that Metallic Dragon."

After learning what happened yesterday, a look of relief appeared on the Iron Dragon Sorog's face.

Within Dragon Valley, there was White Dragon Tereshi, who was nearly at the adult stage. Her presence was quite low, and she was almost at the bottom of the dragon hierarchy, but the Iron Dragon would never underestimate an Adult Silver Dragon just because the White Dragon was weak.

"With Deborah's connection, the Adult Silver Dragon was never a problem from the start; instead, he has become our aid."

Garros said.

"Oh? You gained his support?"

The Iron Dragon's spirits lifted as he asked.

"No."

Garros shifted the conversation, grinning as he said, "But, making others believe it exists is enough."

As he spoke, he took out a complete Silver Dragon scale that carried a piercing chill, flipping it between his claws.

"This is?"

The Iron Dragon looked at the scale in Garros's claws.

"The scale of an Adult Silver Dragon."

The Red-Iron Dragon said, "I admit he is stronger than me, but in our sparring match, I still managed to strip a few scales off him."

His expression was calm and indifferent, as if he were speaking of a trivial matter.

Solrog was speechless.

After a moment of silence, the Iron Dragon flicked his tail and muttered, "I'll give it to you, you're impressive."

Garros nodded slightly, accepting the compliment.

Immediately after.

The Red-Iron Dragon's expression turned serious as he said solemnly, "The truth sometimes isn't important. With Frosttrace's scale, we can use his name to shake the resolve of the three tribes opposing us."

"And we don't even need to shake all of them."

For the tribes in The Borderlands, continuing to face familiar rivals was certainly better than facing a rapidly rising unknown tribe; furthermore, while they competed, they already had a certain level of cooperative relationship.

If the three tribes were to fully unite, it would become quite troublesome.

The Molten Iron Tribe had not yet digested the fruits of its victory, and although it had integrated the Golden Tooth Tribe, the losses from the war were also severe. Compared to before, its overall strength had not significantly increased.

Even if they defeated the other tribes, it would inevitably come at a high price.

Garros wanted to slay ten thousand enemies but was unwilling to lose eight thousand of his own.

He currently lacked the absolute power to sweep away all obstacles.

Under these circumstances, he needed to use his brain.

Poison Tail, Dawn, Ironblood—if just one of these tribes turns or stands by and watches, the pressure on the Molten Iron Tribe will plummet.

Playing with the Adult Silver Dragon's scale, Garros asked:

"Among the three major tribes, which one do you think is the easiest to win over?"

The Iron Dragon in the projection did not answer immediately. After pondering for a few seconds, he slowly said, "During this time, scouts from the three major tribes have been lingering and investigating the borders of our territory."

"But I haven't been idle either; I've gathered some intelligence on them."

Iron Dragon Sorog said, "The humans of the Dawn Tribe are mainly located in the northwestern part of The Borderlands, but they are completely different from the Federation humans; they are primitive and violent, and the powerhouses within the tribe are mainly Barbarians."

Barbarian—not a specific race, but a general term for a type of special existence.

Humans, dwarves, or even elves.

As long as they awaken the Power of Rage and are filled with a fanaticism for battle, they can become Barbarians.

Barbarians belong to different races, but they all share a signature rage: an uncontrollable, unceasing, and unthinking fury.

Furthermore.

Their rage is not just an emotion, but the ferocity triggered by a predator in a desperate situation. It is a reckless onslaught like a storm, an unceasing wave in the ocean, and a weapon and divine technique they use for battle.

"The Ironblood Tribe's Orc territory spans both the northwest and northeast; they have many warriors and Advanced Shamans."

His voice paused slightly as Iron Dragon Sorog continued, "The humans and Orcs of The Borderlands revere martial prowess and take pride in blood and scars. They had intense conflicts at the beginning, but they gradually came to recognize each other, and their relationship is the closest."

In the eyes of the Federation's intelligent creatures.

The Borderlands Orcs are like uncivilized beasts, crude and savage, and the humans of The Borderlands are the same, no different from the Orcs.

Cases where humans and Orcs can resonate only occur in barren and harsh regions like The Borderlands.

"The Snakemen of the Poison Tail Tribe are in the northeastern part of The Borderlands and are known for producing Sorcerers and Shamans. They previously attempted to attack Dragon Valley but were frightened away by the Metallic Dragons."

Iron Dragon Sorog's eyes showed a look of contemplation and a faint psionic light as he said:

"Snakemen are cold and cruel, preferring to use insidious means like witchcraft and Curses. They are the least liked among the tribes of The Borderlands, and their relationship with humans and Orcs is unfriendly, with hostile competition far outweighing occasional cooperation."

Finally, he concluded, "The Poison Tail Tribe should be our primary target to win over."

Garros nodded slightly. "Well said. The Snakemen saw Deborah in Dragon Valley and then tactfully retreated; moreover, the gap between them and the humans and Orcs is deep, making them easy to draw to our side."

Win over those who can be won over, and divide and weaken the strength of the hostile camp.

In this way, in the upcoming battle for the King of the Borderlands, the Molten Iron Tribe can become the final winner at a smaller cost.

"Solrog, I'll leave this matter to you. I believe you can handle it well. I will have a Wyvern deliver the Silver Dragon scale to you immediately."

Garros said.

The Iron Dragon nodded and said, "Leave it to me. I will make those Snakemen make a choice that is beneficial to us."

After speaking, the Iron Dragon did not immediately disconnect the Projection Stone.

He shifted the topic, saying, "Alchemical Items like Communication Stones and Projection Stones sometimes lag due to Spells, distance, elemental flows, and other factors, making it impossible to communicate in real-time."

The psionic light in his eyes intensified as he said, "The transmission of information is very important to us. To ensure this, I have meditated day and night and specifically unearthed a corresponding psionic Spell from my Bloodline Legacy—Blood Kin Chain."

For Sorcerers, Bloodline is like a slowly flowing great river.

The better the innate Bloodline, the wider and more vast the river is, and the more treasures it contains.

As the Sorcerer's Rank grows and time passes, the 'treasures' at the bottom of the river will slowly float to the surface and be delivered to the Sorcerer by the current, which is a natural Awakening and comprehension.

Meditation allows Sorcerers to dig into deeper layers of water to obtain treasures ahead of time.

Because of their top-tier Bloodlines, all Dragonkin are natural Sorcerers with gradually increasing Sorcerer Ranks. Mastering things like Spell-like Abilities can actually be achieved early through meditation.

Returning to the topic.

Mind Link has range limitations. Although its range increases with the Psion's Rank, at the Iron Dragon's current Psion Rank, it is not as convenient as using Alchemical Items.

Blood Kin Chain is different.

Its disadvantage is obvious.

It only works on specific targets.

Its advantages are also obvious.

The Psion uses the Bloodline bond as a link to transmit psionic energy, enabling long-distance communication with blood kin. It can ignore most interference and use the Psion as a relay to allow blood kin to connect with each other on a mental level!
