Synopsis
Aarav died—but his soul didn’t leave. Declared an irregular soul, he is dragged into a realm where death is controlled and given a single command: Every thirteen days, capture one soul. But Aarav returns to the living world as something impossible— A Seer who was never meant to come back. He can see souls. Hunt them. Bind them. Yet he himself is one. While Seers struggle to contain the growing number of lingering souls, Aarav walks among them unnoticed—breaking the very system he is now part of. And if an irregular soul becomes a Seer— The balance between life and death will not survive.

Chapter 1 - Archive Record

[ARCHIVE RECORD]

It began decades ago, after the World War. Too many died, too quickly. Entire regions collapsed, and for a time, humanity focused only on surviving what remained.

At first, things stabilized. People rebuilt. Life continued, even if it felt incomplete.

Then the sightings began.

People claimed to see the dead. Not memories or dreams, but something present—standing, watching, existing.

It was dismissed by Government as Grief, trauma, Hallucination.

But the reports didn't stop. They spread, slowly at the start, then all at once. Places where death had gathered in large numbers began to feel… wrong. Unstable.

Then the first wave came.

No one understood it. No one could stop it. Conventional methods failed completely. There was nothing to fight—nothing that could be touched, restrained, or destroyed.

Humanity was not prepared.

Then some people returned from the edge of death.

They survived what should have killed them. But they came back different. Not injured. Not broken.

Changed.

They could see the dead.

Not illusions. Not shadows.

But, Souls.

They came to be known as Seers.

For years, they fought what others couldn't perceive. Slowly, at great cost, they began to push back the waves. Regions were secured. Safe zones were established. Systems were built.

Over time, those who could see became those who decided.

From them, the Seers Academy was formed.

Its purpose was simple.

To observe.

To control.

To decide what remains… and what passes on.

Because not all souls leave. Some stay behind. They are classified as irregular souls.

They do not follow the natural order. They linger beyond the point human understand.

And if they linger long enough—They become something else.
