[???: It was nice to meet you too!]
He sighed. Another job was done. His name was Kuro. He was working as a rental boyfriend. He was doing this job to pay for university. This job had a nice income, so he did not hesitate. He got to hang out with girls, and he also got paid well. That was awesome for him.
[Kuro: I guess I should head back home now.]
He arrives at his home. He opens the door, changes into his casual clothes, and lies down on his bed. He pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through social media. A few minutes pass by, and a notification pops up from the app he got the job from. There is another customer who wants to date tomorrow. He gets a much higher payment from this customer than usual. The user doesn't have a profile picture. He accepts the job without viewing the account. He is completely free tomorrow, so he can go to date in time. He closes the app and opens the social media back. After few more hours of scrolling through social media, he finally puts his phone aside and falls asleep.
The next day, as he wakes up, he gets ready for the date and heads to the place they agreed to meet: a park near his house. When he arrives, his customer is not there, even though he is already about 15 minutes late. He doesn't know what his customer looks like, though; the customer's account didn't have a profile picture. This was just the beginning of a disaster, but he didn't know that yet.
Then a pink-haired, short guy rushes to the park, stops for a moment, breathlessly looks around. But that doesn't bother Kuro, and he continues scroll through social media while waiting for the customer. But then that pink-haired guy comes up to him.
[???: Hey, sorry to interrupt, but is your name Kuro by any chance?]
The stranger is still breathless. As the stranger interrupts him, Kuro looks at his appearance in more detail. He is a short, pink-haired guy, with anime character charms hanging from his belt. He looks exhausted, which is probably because he most likely ran here from his house.
[Kuro: Yeah, that's me, and who are you?]
[???: I'm Rin. Your date.]
Kuro freezes. He becomes speechless as he looks at him once more; he can't believe he didn't notice his gender when checking the account. This rental boyfriend job was already hard because of some emotional customers, but dating a male? That's a whole different story.
[Rin: You look surprised. Are you another person named Kuro that has nothing to do with me, by any chance?]
Rin says, a bit nervously.
[Kuro: No, no... I just didn't saw on the app that you were...]
Kuro's voice shakes a bit. He'd never thought he would date a guy in his entire life. He always found it gross for two men to date.
[Rin: I were...?]
[Kuro: You know... uhmm...]
Kuro looks very flustered, also he tries not to offend him.
[Rin: I don't get it!]
Rin raises his voice and raises his arms playfully, also slightly chuckles. Kuro finally gives up
and tells him straightly.
[Kuro: I didn't know you were a male.]
Kuro looks a bit nervous. He definitely doesn't want to go on this date, but he has to, as he's already been paid and doesn't want a one-star review.
[Rin: Oh, so that's what you were worried about! Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with two men dating!]
Kuro sighs. He can sense that this guy is going to be a pain in the ass, but at least he gets paid.
[Kuro: Let's start hanging out then. What are we going to do now?]
[Rin: Uhmm... I never really thought about what to do on this date. Maybe you have some ideas! Do you?]
Rin gets incredibly close to Kuro, his flower like scent clings to him which makes Kuro flustered. If Kuro hadn't been getting paid, he would have punched him in the face by now. But he does get paid. In fact, Rin pays him more than any other usual customer. Rin grins as Kuro backs up with a faint blush on his face.
[Rin: Hehe, did someone get flustered?]
Kuro wants to throw a punch right on his face, but he takes a deep breath and stays calm instead, he needs that 5-star review to continue this job with no problem.
[Kuro: You are being too close.]
[Rin: Am I?]
Kuro sighs as Rin smiles. He feels extremely annoyed and humiliated. He wants all of this to end as soon as possible. But this is just the beginning, and there's still a whole date ahead.
