Chapter 1 - Reincarnation and Family

In the Netherworld, where power determined rank and rank determined destiny, a child was born into the prestigious MorningStar family.

The moment his eyes opened, the heavens shook. The ground quivered. And in that instant, true chaos was born—a Netherworld without a king to rule it.

Ding.

A second, mechanical voice followed:

[Notice: Skills have been acquired.]

[New Skill: Raphael (Lord of Wisdom)]

New Skill: Gluttony]

[New Skill: Copy]

[Notice: Family Bloodline "Dark Light" obtained.]

The baby blinked, confused by the cacophony of system messages.

What… is happening?

Memories flooded back—screeching tires on a long, winding road, the wail of sirens, and his family's desperate cries.

I… died? he thought. I was supposed to die as a billionaire, make my parents proud… but now? Where the hell am I?

Ma'am, look! The baby is adorable! And his eyes… they're just like yours!" a woman exclaimed, her voice full of excitement.

Wait… who is she? Why is she holding me like some fragile doll?

He tried to push away, only to discover… his hands were tiny, soft, and completely unfamiliar.

No way… my hands… they're baby hands?! Did I really reincarnate?

[Affirmative.]

A cold, mechanical voice spoke again:

"Is this… my Golden Finger?"

The woman cradled him gently, her hands warm against his tiny body. She smiled softly, her eyes glistening with affection.

"Don't be afraid, little one," she whispered, rocking him. "You're safe now… and you'll have a name."

The baby tilted his head, curiosity mingling with confusion. He still couldn't fully grasp the world around him—but somehow, her voice made the chaos inside him feel… calm.

"From this day forward, you shall be called Lucien MorningStar," she said, her voice firm yet tender. "You are the heir of our family, and one day, you will shine brighter than anyone else in the Netherworld."

Lucien blinked, the name resonating deep within him. Lucien… It felt strange, but powerful—like it belonged to him.

"Lucien…" he repeated softly, testing the sound on his tiny tongue. Even in this fragile baby body, a spark of excitement ignited within him

The woman pressed him closer to her chest, and for the first time since awakening, Lucien felt a strange sense of belonging.

Then, footsteps echoed from the hall. A tall figure appeared, regal and commanding, radiating the presence of someone who had ruled the Netherworld through sheer strength and wisdom.

"Lucien?" a deep voice called, both cautious and filled with awe.

The baby's eyes widened. The man before him was his father—the one whose reputation had struck fear and respect across the Netherworld. Yet now, seeing him approach gently, Lucien felt… nothing but curiosity.

The father knelt before the cradle, his hands hovering for a moment as if unsure. "So… this is my son," he murmured. "Lucien MorningStar. You are truly… remarkable."

Lucien, still in his tiny body, reached out instinctively, his small hand brushing against his father's.

The father's stern face softened, and he allowed a rare, warm smile. "We'll raise you together," he said quietly, "and the MorningStar name will shine brighter than ever before."

Lucien blinked up at him, a faint smile tugging at his lips. Though he was only a baby, he already sensed the adventures, the power, and the destiny that awaited him.

And in that moment, nestled in his mother's arms and gazing up at his father, the newborn heir of the MorningStar family—Lucien—felt the first stirrings of his extraordinary life.
