[Read the next chapter for the Yandereness we all love.]
Inside a secret laboratory,
A suave middle-aged man clad in a doctor's coat, sat on a chair with his legs crossed.
He had a calm look on his face that hid the chaos in his heart perfectly to the point one wouldn't even know he was losing his composure.
However, as time went on he couldn't keep up with the facade anymore.
"Haah… just how long is it going to take him?" The man sighingly said as he moved the blonde hair strands covering his forehead.
Unable to wait any longer, he started blowing air on his glasses and wiped them with a cloth despite them being clean.
Vhmm
Just as his worries were about to explode, the air in the room changed and started to 'vibrate'.
The next second, a purple-black vertical line appeared out of thin air before expanding to what looked like a void circle.
Bzzz
The void circle started to vibrate and a second later, a figure stepped out of it.
It was a handsome man with black hair, sharp blue eyes clad in light armor that seemed to be from a sci-fi movie.
The black-haired man with pale skin raised his head and looked around the familiar place before his eyes landed on a familiar face.
"Dr. Voss…" He said in a low voice.
"...!"
Dr. Voss's eyes lit up as he stared at the man in front of him with a smile that seemed to grow wider with each passing second.
"Void Cutter! Haha! You're back!" Dr. Voss said in a jovial voice that seemed devoid of his previous concern.
"Stop calling by that stupid name." The black-haired man said, annoyed,
"Haha~ I'm sorry, Kelvin. I forgot you don't like the aliases the commonfolk gave you." Dr. Voss laughingly said.
"Seeing that you look okay, I assume you have completed the mission successfully?" Dr. Voss asked with a raised eyebrow.
"..."
Kelvin didn't say anything and simply took out a small device from within his armor before tossing it in the air.
"...!"
Dr. Voss immediately caught it without thinking twice as if his life depended on it.
Once he safely caught it, he sighed in relief before looking at Kelvin with a reproachful stare.
However, he simply sighed knowing that's how Kelvin had always been and wouldn't change.
Dr. Voss examined the small strange device that was no more than the size of his middle finger.
Once he was done, a smile spread on his lips as he looked at Kelvin as if he was done the greatest favor.
"This is great! You actually succeeded." He complimented.
"Did you think I'd fail?" Kelvin asked.
"Not in a million years." Dr. Voss lied through his teeth with a straight face.
Kelvin didn't care and just stared at Dr. Voss silently before opening his mouth.
"If you're done checking, give me the payment." Kelvin said.
"Ah! Where are my manners? Of course. Here." Dr. Voss brought out his hand that had a strange watch strapped on his wrist.
Kelvin didn't say anything and walked forward. He put his own watch above Dr. Voss' and waited for a minute.
[Transfer Complete.]
A mechanical voice resounded from both of their watches informing them of the successful transfer.
Kelvin didn't say anything further and just turned around to make his leave.
"Wait a minute, James." Dr. Voss called out.
Kelvin stopped in his tracks and turned around.
"What now?" He asked.
"You and I have known each other for years now. I have received tremendous help from you during all this time." Dr. Voss said.
However, Kelvin wasn't having any of it.
"Get to the point you sly old fox." He uttered.
"How rude. I treat you so nicely and this is what I get?" Dr. Voss pretended to be angry.
However, seeing Kelvin start to lose patience he didn't dally any longer.
"Alright. You got me. I just wanted to give you something extra for your cooperation with me all these years." He said.
"..."
Kelvin was skeptical hearing that. However, he stayed quiet and let Dr. Voss continued.
"For everything that we've been through together, I wanted to give you this."
Saying that, the laboratory lit up showcasing various contraptions, devices and more.
At the center of the lab, there was a capsule.
"...!"
Kelvin's eyes widened as soon as he saw what was inside.
It was a Baberoid.
An artificial female.
Badump!
His heart skipped a beat as he saw the figure inside.
The Baberoid possessed long, flowing crimson-red hair that cascaded past her waist in soft waves, giving her a radiant presence beneath the sterile lights of the lab.
Her eyes were a vivid scarlet, full of warmth and gentleness. Her small nose enhanced her cuteness even further.
She was clad in a skin-tight white bodysuit reinforced with black and crimson technological accents. The suit hugged her figure seamlessly, accentuating her bountiful curves. A black cybernetic collar was attached around her neck, embedded with glowing red symbols.
Black thigh-high synthetic stockings covered her thicc legs, contrasting sharply against the bright white suit.
No matter how one looked, she seemed no different than an actual human woman.
The only things that proved otherwise were the sleek black-and-red mechanical cat ears atop her head, and a beauty that no organic creature would possess.

Dr. Voss stood quietly and didn't say anything and just stared at Kelvin and analyzed his reactions. Inwardly, however, he was extremely pleased.
'Hah! Even the ever-stoic Void Cutter cannot resist himself from admiring my creation.'
After what seemed like an eternity, Kelvin finally regained his composure.
He looked at Dr. Voss and opened his mouth.
"What is this?" He asked.
"What do you mean? This is a Baberoid." Dr. Voss said teasingly.
"Don't screw with me, Voss. I know how Baberoids are and this sure ain't hell one." He said, knitting his eyebrows.
Dr. Voss didn't mind the outburst and decided to answer him.
"This is a Baberoid, albeit the only one of her kind that I created."
"You mean…"
