"My Lord should I get your bath ready?" Zen looked up to see a young maid standing by the door to his bedroom. She was twisting her hands together nervously and her eyes were fixed to the floor.
"Yes," Zen said. "That would be great thank you."
The maid's eyes widened like he had just given her a reward. "Right away, My Lord. I will have it ready immediately."
She ran off down the hallway quickly. Zen went into his bedroom and closed the door behind him.
The bed looked really inviting now. Clean sheets. Fluffy pillows. There were no alarms to wake him up, no meetings to go to, no useless people to deal with.
'I will just rest for a minute until the bath is ready,' Zen thought, as he lay back and closed his eyes.

When Zen opened his eyes again, the light coming through the windows was completely different. The sun was high in the sky now, not low like it was earlier.
He sat up slowly blinking at the room. "What time is it?"
