When Zen opened his eyes again, the light coming through the windows was completely different. The sun was high in the sky now, not low like it was earlier.
He sat up slowly blinking at the room. "What time is it?"
He got up, walked to the bathroom door and pushed it open. The big copper tub was there filled with water. He put his finger in. It was cold… really cold.
"Of course," Zen muttered. "A lot of time must have pass but nobody thought to check."
He started undressing anyway, too tired to care. The shirt came off first, then his trousers, leaving him in just his undergarments as he tested the water again with his foot. "This is going to suck."
The door suddenly burst open. "My Lord, I heard you moving. Do you need..."
Elara froze in the doorway, her eyes going wide.
Zen froze too with one leg in the tub, naked.
There was an awkward silence as Elara stared at him.
"Elara."
