Jacob stared at Squabee in shock. Slimo was not the only one capable of remembering these people.
'So Squabee and Slimo remember them, I can only half-remember them, and everyone else doesn't remember anything?! What the hell is the pattern here?!'
Just then, Slimo had finally returned. His face was somber and stiff like he just got done crying. Squabee ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"Please tell me you remember, Slimo. Please tell me I'm not alone!"
Slimo looked at Squabee in awe. He was speechless for a few moments before speaking.
"You... remember William and Syndey?"
Squabee looked at Slimo hopefully.
"Yes, I do!! I was getting worried that I was the only one who remembered them!"
Slimo rubbed his head feverishly and started pacing around the room.
"What the hell is going on? Squabee has a Zalo, yet she still remembers everything? Why? I was sure that I was on to something with the Zalo thing..."
Squabee watched him pace for a few moments before speaking.
