As Jonathan Walks through the hallways of his new High School. He looks through classrooms. Sees students studying,paying attention. Students actually there learning and not goofing off like middle school. As he reaches a door with the tag "Dr.Dre" he stands there.
Jonathan: Alright…..we can do this.
As Jonthan opens the door to the classroom the class is quiet,judging,watching.
A nervous shiver went down his spine.
Dr.Dre: Class, I'd like you guys to meet Jonathan. He transferred here recently and I hope he does excellent while in my class.
Now please go have a next to, Noah please raise your hand.
As Noah raised his hand Jonathan walked over and took a seat. As the teacher talks,and walks around the classroom Noah strikes up a conversation.
Noah: Hey man, Its nice to meet you welcome to Cosmic Central High School. But we call it CCHS for short.
Jonathan: Yeah! Nice to meet you. So what does Dr.Dre teach in?
Noah: He's basically our history teacher. You know read books about the universe and beyond.
Jonathan:hmmm I see.
Dr.Dre: okay class after counting you guys. I'll be putting you into groups of three.
Noah raised his hand
Noah:Excues me but groups for what if I may ask?
Dr.Dre: For the Trials of Fateality….
Trials of Fateality huh….
As one student spoken up next to Jonathan and Noah.
Domnic:Now what business do we have for going there?
Dr.Dre: whatever fate has in store for you.
Just as Jonathan thought things were gonna be smooth.
Jonathan: Fate??? What are yo-
Just then with a snap of Dre's fingers everyone teleports. Jonathan opens his eyes to see both Noah and Dominic.
Jonathan: *are these guys fate intertwined with mine?* Hey guys what is this trial anyway??
Dominic: We got teleported to a separate dimension. Unless tied together everyones trial is different. Different realities,futures. The dimension holds it all. We were chosen by fate to come together and escape this place. Once you find your reason you are able to escape.
Jonathan: okay I'm not understanding this whole fate thing you know. What is your name anyway?
Dominic: it's Dominic and-… who is that?
Jonathan: What are you talking abou-
Noah : L-LOOK UP THERE!!!!
Just then a shadow figure. In the form of a human but the tail of a beast.
Jonathan: Oh no we gotta get out of here.
Noah: I can create a portal but not for long it takes up too much energy.
Dominic: Okay? What are you waiting for open it.
Jonathan: Alright while you open it I'll hold him down.
Jonathan lunged forward, driving his fist toward the creature's chest.
Nothing.
His punch passed through empty air.
The beast hadn't moved.
Yet somehow it was standing right I froze of him. None of his moves are making contact.
Jonathan: * why can't I hit him, is he too fast?*
Just then the beast with its tail becomes longer and strikes Jonathan in the stomach causing him to go in the air. The best jumps up slamming his tail on Jonathan once more causing him to fall back down from where he started.
Jonathan: aw man that hurt.
Noah: come on guys *struggle* I can't hold it for long.
Dominic :Can you make it wider?
Noah: I-I can't.
The portal closes. As the entity lets out a large roar causing the entire dimension to shake a dark aura starts forming.
Jonathan: Another portal would be nice Noah.
Soon the dimension was full of darkness. Jonathan opens his eyes and he's back at his desk shocked.
Dr.Dre: Congratulations you three were the last to finish the test.
Embarrassed, Dominic walked out.
Jonathan:I'm still confused. What was that. Was it some illusion, or possible future? What if we died would we come back?
Dre responded with a straight face.
Dre.Dre: No…. If you died in the trial you would have died here…. That's all there is to it.
Jonathan:*What the hell is wrong with this guy sending me at a place so dangerous*
Dr.Dre: Alright class let's head to the library now. Let's learn more about your futures.
Jonathan:*geez I can't take a break can I*
Dr:Dre: For some of you who don't know, you will be guided by fate to get the knowledge you need. Whatever fate has in store is a mystery that you must find on your own.
Jonathan: * what is up with this fate stuff*
Dr.Dre: alright class let's go.
As they get to the library things take a violent turn.
Dr:Dre alright class I will be in the classroom if you need me. Remember follow fate.
Jonathan: * wow then he's gonna leave us? I still don't know what this fate stuff is.
Jonathan goes to open a book randomly and shakes the entire library.
Jonathan: oops sorry guys,wrong hehe.
Jonathan closes his eyes and focuses.
He reaches for a book and grabs it. Nothing happens. He then opens it.
Jonathan: long a*go- lived an accent tribe. Called the Prehistoric Race. They were human like with dinosaur like tails and claws. One Day a Sand Serpent grew to enormous size for unknown causes. It created a sandstorm so vast and large. Blocking out the sun light causing the world to become an ice age. Ending the lives of most life at the time. Sand serpents today don't reach that big but who knows. One might become massive once again ending the world once more. All life at the time was gone.....
Except 1.
