Chapter 44: Hey, Get Lost Already

"Hey!! I'm a customer! A paying customer!!"

Fullbody stepped on a chair, shouting at Sanji in front of him, spit flying everywhere.

It seemed he wanted to vent all the frustration and anger he had built up just now.

He felt a surge of relief in his heart!

Dammit, I can't afford to provoke that red-eyed freak pirate, but can't I at least teach a lowly restaurant chef a lesson?!

However, facing his rage, Sanji just held a cigarette in his mouth, head lowered, bangs covering half his face. His voice was deep and cold:

"Can money... fill a stomach..."

"Huh?"

Fullbody froze for a moment. Hearing that gloomy tone and seeing the strange aura radiating from the other man, he felt a sudden, inexplicable sense of nervousness.

But he quickly snapped out of it. He was a Marine Lieutenant!

Shamed into anger, he slammed the table again and roared:

"What are you blathering about! I'm—"

*Bam!!*

Before he could finish, a black blur flashed before his eyes.

Without any warning, Sanji's leg flew up, kicking Fullbody hard in the jaw.

"Pwah!"

Fullbody flew backward like a sandbag, knocking over the table behind him.

Before he even hit the ground, Sanji had already stepped forward, grabbing his collar with one hand and lifting him clean off the floor.

Sanji's exposed eyes were filled with cold fury as he glared at Fullbody:

"I'm asking you—can money fill a stomach!!"

This sudden outburst of violence shocked everyone in the restaurant.

Diners screamed and scrambled out of the way, the once-elegant dining environment instantly turning into a mess.

Standing at the door, Nami watched this scene, her mouth agape. She murmured:

"Wh-what's going on... why are the chefs here even more vicious than pirates?"

"You little brat! Not again! Sanji!!"

Just then, another gruff roar came from ahead.

A muscular chef in a black uniform—Patty—rushed over holding a giant fork. He roared at Sanji:

"What are you doing to our customer! You violent chef!"

"What are you talking about? Don't say my name so casually, you bastard Patty."

Sanji glanced back at him, his gaze still cold.

"You shitty cook have no right to call me a shitty cook! Without customers, there is no restaurant! Are you trying to ruin this shop?!" Patty roared.

"So what if he's a customer?"

Sanji didn't back down at all; instead, his tone grew even more frigid:

"This guy not only wasted precious food but also insulted the dish a chef poured his heart into. That's why I'm going to teach him a lesson."

With that, Sanji tossed Fullbody onto the floor like a piece of trash.

"Cough, cough..."

Clutching his injured jaw again, Fullbody crawled up from the floor with a distorted expression.

Seeing the fierce-looking chefs around him, his fear turned into frantic hysteria.

"What chefs... what kind of chefs are you supposed to be!!"

He pointed at Sanji, his eyes bloodshot as he yelled:

"I am a Marine Lieutenant! I'll destroy this place! I'll contact the government right now! I'll have the army come and bomb this place to the ground!!"

Hearing "destroy this place," Sanji's expression instantly became terrifying, and a murderous aura like that of a demon erupted from him.

"In that case, I'll just have to kill you right now!!"

The cigarette in Sanji's mouth flickered as he walked toward Fullbody step by step. "Who do you think you are! You bastard!"

"Hey! Sanji! Stop!"

"Calm down!"

Seeing this, several nearby chefs turned pale with fright. They rushed forward, grabbing Sanji's waist and arms, desperately trying to hold him back.

"Let go of me! Let me slaughter this food-wasting bastard!"

At the entrance.

"Ah... they're really going at it."

Nami watched the chaotic scene, rubbing her forehead in a headache. She pulled on Tatsuya's sleeve beside her.

"Hey, Tatsuya, let's just pay the money to bail out Luffy and get out of here quickly."

"This place is too abnormal. I feel like we're going to get caught up in big trouble."

Tatsuya leaned against the doorframe, watching the blond chef with curly eyebrows, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"No, isn't this quite interesting?"

"What part of this is interesting!!" Nami yelled at him, having a breakdown.

*BOOM!!!*

Just then, a loud crash echoed from the ceiling above, followed by the sound of wood splintering and dust flying everywhere.

Two figures entangled together fell from the second floor along with a shower of wood chips, slamming heavily onto the central floor of the restaurant.

"Cough, cough... What is it this time?!"

"W-what happened? Is it an enemy attack?"

Another wave of panic swept through the restaurant. The diners were a bit overwhelmed by the succession of "surprises."

Some diners were even so frightened they crawled under the tables.

The dust cleared.

"Luffy!!"

Nami looked at the figure in the Straw Hat crawling out of the debris, her expression turning to one of pleasant surprise.

The other chefs around also recognized the other person and cried out in surprise:

"Boss?! What are you doing?!"

The head chef Zeff, who was missing a leg, was staring intensely at Luffy.

"Ah, Tatsuya, Nami! Hee hee hee, you came to save me!"

Luffy picked up the Straw Hat that had fallen to the side, patted off the dust, and looked at the two at the door with a grin, completely unaware that he had caused any trouble.

But then, an enraged Zeff grabbed him by the collar.

"You brat! It's all your fault!"

Zeff pointed at the large hole in the ceiling, his mustache twitching with anger:

"My restaurant's ceiling! It was just repaired! It's all your fault! Pay up!!"

"Huh?! It was you who kicked me just now, old man, and then it broke!!" Luffy retorted indignantly. "You're half responsible too!"

"Shut up! In my restaurant, what I say goes!"

As the two were arguing, the chefs holding Sanji were about to lose their grip and couldn't help but shout for help:

"Boss! Forget the ceiling! Come and stop Sanji first! He's going to kill someone!"

"Hmm?"

Zeff turned his head, his gaze instantly locking onto Sanji, who was preparing to strike with murderous intent.

"Sanji... you brat! Are you causing trouble in the shop again?"

"Shut it, you old geezer."

Although Sanji retorted, seeing Zeff's dark gaze, he subconsciously stopped his movements and clicked his tongue, turning his head away.

"What did you say?! Who do you think you're talking to! This is my restaurant, you brat!"

With that, Zeff didn't hesitate; his hard wooden leg became a blur as he kicked Sanji hard in the face.

*Bang!*

Sanji was sent flying, tumbling several times before coming to a stop.

This series of violent events completely shattered Fullbody's worldview.

He sat kneeling on the floor, cold sweat pouring down. Looking at this group of chefs who were more like pirates than pirates, his teeth couldn't stop chattering.

"This restaurant... what's wrong with it... it's practically a pirate ship..."

He wanted to run, but his legs were too weak to stand.

"Hey, you, messy-hair."

Suddenly, a voice so familiar it haunted his nightmares drifted over from the side.

Fullbody's body stiffened abruptly. Then, like a rusty machine, he mechanically turned his head bit by bit.

What met his eyes was Tatsuya, leaning against the door and looking at him with a smile.

Those iconic red eyes were filled with a playful light.

"Ah... ah... you..."

Fullbody's pupils instantly shrank to the size of pinheads, and his body began to tremble violently. The arrogance he had shown toward Sanji vanished in an instant.

This demon... why is he here too?!

"Aren't you going to get lost?"

Tatsuya tilted his head, his tone gentle. "Or do you want me to break your other hand too?"

"Yes! Yes! I'm leaving right now!!"

Fullbody let out a terrified scream as his survival instinct kicked in.

Using both his hands and feet, he scrambled and crawled toward the door at an incredible speed.

He didn't even spare a glance for his companion, Moodie, who was still sitting on the floor in a daze, leaving her behind entirely.

The restaurant suddenly became much quieter.

"Hmm?"

Having finished dealing with the internal matters, Zeff turned his head, his gaze passing over Luffy to look at Tatsuya and Nami at the door.

His gaze sharpened as he looked the two of them up and down.

"And who... might you be?"
