Shawn's POV,
Before I could say anything, Jean left the water, and my mind completely got distracted. Even what I had planned to say to June disappeared as if it had never existed in the first place.
In that moment, I realized he wasn't actually bare on his upper body. That thought came too late, but it still landed sharply in my mind.
It reminded me that he couldn't move around like that if the mark I had left on him was still visible. And I was almost certain that on his body, there were still traces of me. Finger marks. Maybe even kiss marks in places I hadn't allowed myself to think about properly.
Watching him move like that made everything else fade. The way his clothes clung to him, the way his wet hair fell across his forehead, the way his lips still carried that damp shine from the water… it pulled my attention in a way I couldn't control.
I even forgot where I was.
I forgot what I was doing, and all I could do was watch him.
