Caspian let out a deep, thunderous growl that vibrated straight through his chest, his golden eyes narrowing into razor slits as he carried Hana directly toward the massive, fur-draped mattress.
"Don't even bring it up, cat," Caspian huffed, setting Hana down with meticulous, gentle care before turning to glare at the fox. "It's already annoying as it is."
"Annoying?" Raiden gasped, clutching his chest in mock offense, though his emerald eyes were sparkling with pure, unadulterated delight at having successfully riled up both a dragon and a leopard in the span of five minutes. "I believe the word you're looking for is beneficial, big guy. I kept our mate warm, satisfied, and thoroughly entertained while you all were busy."
