A few yards down the rampart, Ren stood beside an open terminal pillar, his fingers flying across a glowing blue holographic keyboard. He didn't even look up from his screen, though his white leopard ears twitched slightly toward them.
"I knew she was safe," Ren said calmly, his voice cutting through the wind. "Her life signature on the command interface remained completely stable. Elevated heart rate, increased core temperature, but perfectly fine."
Hana closed her eyes for a brief second, letting out a heavy, exasperated sigh against Caspian's chest armor. System bio-monitors... I really need to adjust those privacy settings.
Just like Raiden, Ren was a very fast learner, even faster perhaps. And because of that, he could already maneuver the robots and type on keyboards like someone born a genius in the 21st century.
"Put me down, Caspian," Hana ordered quietly.
