1.) It was another beautiful day in Carrow City, children are playing, and laughing; students talking to each other as they crossed the pedestrian lane. 2.) And there's Aaron Cole—a street preacher who spent his life preaching on the streets, whether It's outside a café; outside the school, or maybe outside his church. 3.) "You are God's children!" Aaron raised his voice with a smile. Some agreed; some ignored and began tapping across their phone's keyboard. A sad reality, and yet Aaron Cole didn't mind. 4.) As a street preacher, he just didn't spent his life talking about God and reading the bible; he spent his life arguing with people who tried to argue—some are atheists who believe the bible is fictional; some are just people who lost their faith due to un-answered prayers. 5.) The only thing that people misses out is when you pray: It must be in the heart.
6.) "I know some of you people is currently facing your own silent battles right now, but listen! According to Matthew 11:28-30: 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.'" 7.) Aaron began closing his bible with a faint-thud, "My friends, if you are tired—there's nothing wrong when you're taking a rest or a break—for God is with you. Don't just rest on the bed; rest to him!" 8.) After the preaching session, he packed his things and began leaving. When he arrived at a local café—he entered to the staff room and placed his things down as he changed his outfit. He works here. 9.) Aaron Cole believed and stayed faithful, even though he earns minimum wage salaries—he never complained. 10.) Before starting to work he opened his bible then prayed: "Lord, thank you for this day."
11.) He served two female customers with two carbonaras and two spanish latte; before he even placed the orders on the table—he prayed, quietly: "Lord, bless this meal they're about to eat." 12.) He did this to other first three customers until he served a certain man named 'Foster Smith'" 13.) Aaron somewhat knew him and asked: "…Excuse me, Sir. Are you the brave journalist that revealed the truth of Solomon Vane?" 14.) Foster replied: "Yes, for I am guided by The Holy Spirit. Are you Aaron Cole?" 15.) After hearing Foster say his name without even meeting nor talking to him, he fell silent before even asking for Foster's order.
16.) Aaron Cole just stood there holding his notepad, then he asked: "How did you know my name?"
Foster replied: "You are God's child." To Aaron, he thought Foster was going crazy or it's one of those journalist's ability to recognize someone's name, and yet—that's impossible. 17.) "Those who know him, know them too," Foster said. "…For my right-hand hand will write the truth." 18.) He stood up from his chair then touches Aaron's shoulder using his right-hand, then asked: "How long have you been a preacher?" 19.) "For 6 years now…" Aaron replied. He felt unseasy but something is stopping him from changing the topic like—asking Foster for his order. When Foster made up his mind, he sat down again and picked up the menu. 20.) I'd like a cappuccino and a croissant.
21.) After consuming the meal; some customers had left the café—Foster then once again touches Aaron on the shoulder with his left-hand, "…God asked me to tell you this; you are the inheritor of the book of Matthew." 22.) "You will tell people the truth and everything you say becomes reality—but becareful, do not be fooled by greed for it'll keep your mouth sealed forever." 23.) Aaron just chuckled and shrugged it off, "I like your journalist novel style of talking, thank you. Come again." 24.) When Aaron got home, he first went to his altar then kneeled as he opened the bible, he prayed: "Lord, forgive me for all the things I've done. I know I might not be perfect, for I surrender myself to you. Please help my mother recover from her cancer." 25.) 3 hours later—a call from the High Grace Hospital told him that his mother is fully recovered from her sickness, and the hospital bill was sent to him through message.
26.) The bill costs $190,000, his salary couldn't even compete. "Where will I even get this money?!" he yelled. He walked around his room, scratching his head using two-hands. "Why are you so panicked?" 27.) The voice was muffled and didn't came behind the door—Foster Smith stood behind him with a concerned look. 28.) "The door has three locks, how did you get in?" Aaron asked.
"We both hold miracles from God and inherit gospels that was already been written," Foster replied. "…God has chosen you to inherit the book of Matthew—for he had given you mouth to make words become reality. The Lord yet has another task for me, To send you the news." 29.) "What?" Aaron replied, voice sounded almost a whisper. "…B-But I'm just a man, God's child—I'm just a pastor who chose to spread the word of God, and now I'm prophet?" 30.) "Let me make it clear for you now, I never said anything about you being a prophet. I have already told you before, you're a chosen inheritor of the gospels not a prophet."
31.) "Then prove it…" Aaron hissed. "If you prove nothing, I'll call the police and let them charge you for trespassing!" 32.) Foster didn't even got mad nor talked back. He walked closer to him and said: "Let's pray for your mother and ask God to help you." 33.) Without hesitating, both of them closed their eyes and Aaron prayed loudly. 34.) After the prayer; Aaron opened his eyes and saw Foster was gone. He felt disappointed and angry until his phone buzzed. 35.) It was a message from her mother that says: "Aaron! We had a generous donator who donated us $190,000. I can't believe this! I can finally work at the parlor again!!"
36.) Aaron was stunned; he stood froze as if he had seen a ghost. 37.) Without a doubt, he already wanted to flex this, but he remembered Foster's words: "You will tell people the truth and everything you say becomes reality—but becareful, do not be fooled by greed for it'll keep your mouth sealed forever." 38.) This means one thing—
