Jay's pov:
"Why did you even reappear then?" I could hear rakki mumbling.
"So what now? Are you here to hurt her again?" Freya scoffed.
"chill. I'm not here for that. I was here for work" Jason added cooly. Ordering for a drink.
Which was....same as mine.
"Where did you even go in the first place gago"
Jason looked at me sipped his drink.
"Damn. I forgot you curse a lot when your drunk." He added
"That wasn't my question!" I snapped staring at his idiotic face.
He sighed like he was taking care of a toddler who was running around the house crashing things down. (A/N: my sister is like that!! we are 10 yrs apart too hard handle her 😭😭)
"You are making this party boring we were suppose to have fun" Ella said facing him.
She was clearly annoyed.
"Chill I don't want my fiance to get drunk. I don't want her hurt." Jason replied eyes landing on girls one by one.
The word fiance made my chest tightened.
At one side I was glad that it was him. At the other side I wasn't because I didn't love him anymore.
"F-fiance?" Ella eyes widened stuttering.
Freya gasped.
"J-Jay" Rakki looked at my face searching for a 'no'
"Jay is it true?" Mica stood beside rakki hoping for an answer.
*Flashback*
Me, Jare and Mia were laughing ice-cream in hand.
I noticed Jare...he looked different like fear, worry and something more than that. Like fear as in he couldn't protect.
"Jare is s-something wrong?"
Jare looked at Mia back at me then at her.
So Mia knows.
I held my snorlax tighter like my world depended on it entirely.
"Jay....y-your engaged to Jason" He was direct.
didn't convince me. didn't want me. he didn't want to hide. he told the truth.

"What do you mean Jare. How is that possible we broke up because the old hags!" I was startled.
I got up from my chair fast. The chair screeched loud when it was pushed back.
"Your grandparents arranged it this time though" Mia spoke up. Looking hesitant.
"No i-it doesn't make sense."
"It does actually, when his mom died 2 yrs ago he was adopted by his aunt and uncle. According to me and mom and dad. they have no kid so they took in Jason and his sister. They own one of the state. They rule that state since the control the government. Since Jason was their son now....They proposed the engageme. The devils.....well...they agreed."
The explain felt like drinking a soup which had no seasoning.
"Who the hell would marry their ex who disappeared?" I snapped.
"Jay this is a cover up engagement so....Even he doesn't want this without your permission" Mia smiled faintly.
So a mutual understanding.
"Fine I'll go on with this stupid arrangement."
They looked at each other and nodded to me.
But made me promise not to show that I know abt this in front of the old hags.
*Flashback ends*
"He is indeed my fiance.....But I rather marry someone else. Moreover, in my years of loving someone I realised men aren't reliable"
The gilse blinked looking confused and worried.
Jason stepped closer smirking.
"Then who will you marry love? keifer?"
Keifer....him again....
Pity! Pathetic! I still love him.
I gave Jason a mocking smile.
"I rather marry a snorlax or a chocolate if it was a human man. You know I could cuddle snorlax forever. Or....eat chocolates forever" I replied. smooth. Enough to wipe out that smirk.

Jason's smirk only widened.
His hand moved reaching for mine before I could pull it away a fist connected to his jaw making him fall.
The girls stepped back terrified.

Keifer's pov:
Bar was never the plan. I was here with rory and edrix. Only us.
I saw her the moment she entered. Dress- short. too short. I saw her with the girls. I remember felix telling me the girls had started speaking. somewhere in me felt happy that she had someone to talk to.
But then someone appeared. A boy. I narrowed my eyes just enough to see the face clearly.
Jason...?
Ram's brother?
My enemy?
Is he after her because of me. But no. Jay doesn't seem bother. the girls looked shock. They both are talking like they know each other for ages.
His hand moved towards. Something in me took control. I moved before I could stop myself.
My fist landed right on his jaw. My breathe heavy. What if he hurts her.
Jay stood up beside me shocked.
"What the hell!? Why would you hit him?" She yelled at me.
I turned facing her face inches apart.
"Your asking me why? Jay he's my enemy. Ram's brother. What if he hurts you?" I yelled back.
Why can't she understand the seriousness. Why does she always land in trouble.
A laugh broke out from Jason.
"Keifer you know your funny! Jay never told she was my girlfriend."
My eyes widened looking back and forth at them. Jay looked and closed her eyes like she was done with this drama.
"Correction Jason. I'm your ex-girlfriend."
My eyes widened.
The word ex...tasted bitter than anything.
I hated this.
I hated the connection existing between them.
"Jay...he's really your boyfriend" Rory asked her.
She didn't reply. But looked straight at rory.
I knew her answer now. silence means yes....
"Girls let's....go."
Jay dragged the girls away pulling jason with her.
I saw her fade away right before my eyes.
1 month Jay...once I'm back you will only belong to me.
I'll even tear up a boyfriend if you make one when I come back.
"DAMN! this is so messed up keif" Edrix face crumbled in frustration.
yeah....it was.
But i'm back, I'm fixing it.
