Jay's pov:
I skipped the last class. No we all did. the girls ran with me to my car.
"SO where should we go first girls?"
"Gurl! forget about that this car smells expensive" Freya squealed.
"I have to agree with her" Ella nodded.
"This car is expensive my brothers bought it."
"Brothers?" Mica asked confused.
"yep. I have 4 brothers. I'm the only girl in my family so. They are like...sister-complex..."
Their jaw dropped. The car fell silent. Only the music was loud.
"Girls say something...."
"4....." Grace whispered. One hand on her belly.
I did not take my eyes off the road. I just glanced at the mirror.
"Your family....gene....is quite strong. Yes 'strong' is the right word." Rakki voice was in disbelief.
I laughed.
"Step-sibling. We have the same blood. But different fathers and mothers."
"Oh....a broken family..." Ella whispered. Sounding genuinely sad.
I shaked my head no.
"My 1st brother Jax has my father's blood. My second brother percy is not related to us by blood at all."
"Wait...wait percy?" Freya hissed.
"He's alive" She added quietly.
I nodded.
"Forget...it. My family is not broken. We all are happy actually. So tell me where are we going?"
"Mall I guess" Mica suggested.
I nodded and called Lia.
"Who are you calling Jay?" Grace asked.
"A friend"
"Jay is something wrong" Lia answered. the phone was on speaker.
"Not really Lia, you see I'm going to the mall with some of my friends so can you clear the mall out so we could shop."
"Is that why you called babes. you could have texted but...right at your service hon"
I chuckled.
"Thanks! L"
she cut the call.
I glanced at the mirror girls face in shock.
"What the hell?" Rakki whispered.
"That's Lia....she owns the mall"
"You have rich friend gurl" Freya added.
"Yeah. I do"
*At mall*
Mall was too spacious for us. No one was around just me and girls. The manager spotted us and ran to us.
"Ma'am Jay, Mis Lia told me you would come anything we need to do for you"
I shaked my head.
I faced the girls so where are we going now.
"Clothes" Freya answered flipping her hair back.
Oh no...this is going to take forever.
"Can we go anywhere other than there..."
"No" Ella answered. A simple reply. short. firm.
Great Jay. Good job.
First percy, then section E. Now shopping chaos.
*Clothes section*
The section was boring. too boring. Why did I agree to this 😭😭
Jay you should have told a reason.
Here I was sitting somewhere watching the girls argue.
"ELLA pink looks better" Freya yelled
"I know but there are too many options" Ella yelled.
"Girls do you think blue looks better on me" Mica asked
Ella and freya narrowed their eyes like beauty inspector.
"Hmm...yes" Freya agreed slowly.
"Choose a different design" Ella nodded.
Freya agreed.
Mica frowned. But nodded anyways.
"Guys wait" Rakki panicked.
"What's wrong" Grace stepped forward concerned.
Rakki smile. That smile...it looks dangerous...
Why is rakki looking at me like that?
The girls followed her gaze looking at me.
I looked at myself. still in school uniform. Tie lose. Hair looking like a birds nest.
They all grinned.
I looked at them and sighed.
"I swear to god Girls if your plann-AHHhhh what the hell? Why are pushing me."
"Good now we got the queen" Freya looked proud.
"We all have chosen a dress for you try it out." Rakki joined.
"No"
"YES!" they shouted together.
"UGhh fine!"
I tried each dress on. They....weren't so bad. Not too girlish...not too boyish. it feels just right. Feels perfect. And comfy.
"So where are we going next?" Ella asked excited.
I groaned.
"Definitely foooood! I'm hungry plus we got a pregnant friend here" I said pointing at grace.
"Ofc you are" Freya mumbled
We ate. Chatted. About everything. Like grace, how denzel took care, Rakki was blushing when telling about ci-n on how childish he was but she still loved him (we basically teased her abt it), Freya about her fashion choices (typical freya), Ella about her family. Me? I have nothing to talk about so I just listened.

Author's pov:
they were finally out of the mall Jay's feet felt like they have been frozen. Because her legs hurt so bad from all the working. (A/N: Even I hate shopping. Takes 7 hours to get the hell out of that place when I'm with my mom.)
"Let's go to bar. Jay meet you there." Freya didn't ask. It was a command.
"My brother won't let me."
"Then lie. tell your having sleepover" Ella said. confident.
"He will kill me"
"Kill him back" Rakki shot back.
"How can a dead person kill?"
"That wasn't even the question Jay. Just come." Grace slapped her head at my talk backs.
"You can't come grace." Mica added gently.
"I know" Grace softened.
"Fine meet you at the bar I guess then...."
The girls booked the cab while Jay went back to the condo.
But maybe going back home was a regret. Because the moment she saw her brother.
Her brain short-circuited.
"lupa kainin mo ako" She whispered to herself.
