Chapter 1 - chapter 1- mission complete

"Luna, kiss me!" Yuito gestured toward his cheek. Luna approached him, her body stiff with hesitation. Clenching her fists, she pressed a forced kiss against his cheek before bolting from the room. Once outside the office, she leaned against the door, clutching her chest as she tried to soothe her racing heart..

Inside, Yuito now alone let out a long, weary sigh of relief. This is it. The villain's final curtain call. Finally, the mission is complete.

With a trembling hand, he reached for a pen and and began to write on a small piece of paper:

[Luna, by the time your eyes fall upon these words, I will no longer be in this world. I am consumed by regret for forcing you into this forced mariage. My obsession and my toxic love... it became a cage that stole five years of your youth and your freedom. I know that when you close your eyes at night, it isn't my face you see, but Kaito's. For a year, I have been locked in a losing battle with brain cancer, a battle I was destined to lose. Suffering has finally taught me that I cannot continue to steal your life while mine is slipping away. Please, take care of yourself. December has arrived; wrap yourself warmly against the cold. Never go out without protection, for I will no longer be there to stand between you and the world. And eat well. It breaks my heart to see how much weight you've lost these past years since you married me. I have so much more to say, but I have no right to say it. With love, Yuito Sumeragi."]

Yuito sighed, a ghostly smile touching his lips as he signed the inheritance documents, transferring everything, the entire Sumeragi empire to Tsukimori Luna.

Yuito was not of this world; he was a soul from Earth who had transmigrated into the novel The Goddess Is Obsessed With Me. His role given by the sistem was simple: play the villain, the tyrannical CEO who used his absolute power to trap the heroine in a loveless marriage.

He sealed the papers in a heavy envelope and summoned his secretary. "Tsumugi, deliver this to Luna tonight."

"Yes, Young Master," she replied with a bow.

The moment the door clicked shut, Yuito collapsed, a violent cough racking his frame until blood splattered across the mahogany desk. Damn it... He gasped, fighting for air. Just a few more minutes, and I'll be free from this wretched world.

He stood with the last of his strength and walked out. His employees bowed in silence as he passed, Yuito ignore them. He drove until he reached the center of the great bridge. Stepping out into the biting wind, he looked down at the black, swirling depths below. It's going to be cold.

But thinking of the mission, and of finally removing himself as the obstacle between the heroine and the protagonist, he took one final breath, stepped out of his shoes, and surrendered himself to the abyss. The water was a thousand needles of ice. As the darkness pulled him down, Yuito smiled. She'll be so happy when she hears the news. He closed his eyes and let the silence take him.

That night, Luna stood in the Sumeragi villa, she was in her room leaning against the window sill. Her blue eyes were fixed on the distant stars, her long blonde hair flowing like silk down her back. Her mind was a storm, trapped on the memory of that forced kiss.

A soft knock broke the silence. "Enter," she said coldly.

Tsumugi stepped in, bowing low. "Luna-sama, forgive the intrusion, but the Young Master ordered me to give you this."

Luna took the envelope with a nod. Once the secretary left, she tore it open. As her eyes raced across the handwritten lines, the world seemed to tilt. Her knees buckled, and she hit the floor, her body wracked with sudden, violent tremors. "This is a lie... it has to be a joke!"

She dialed Yuito's number, her fingers shaking so hard she could barely hit the buttons. "The person you are trying to reach is not available, please leave a message

.." The mechanical voice was a death knell.

Luna threw on a coat and drove through the city toward the company. She burst into his office, but it was hollow and silent. The employees told her he had left hours ago. Drowning in desperation, she called the police. Hours passed in agonizing silence until the phone finally shrieked. "Where is he? Is he okay? Tell me he's okay!" she sobbed into the receiver.

"Miss Luna... we are so sorry. Mr. Yuito Sumeragi has been found. Cause of death: suicide. His body is currently at the hospital."

The phone hit the floor with a dull thud. Luna collapsed, a primal scream of agony tearing from her lungs. "No! It's impossible! He wouldn't!"

She drove to the hospital in a trance. An officer led her into the cold, sterile room where a body lay beneath a white sheet. Luna reached out, her fingers trembling as she pulled back the cloth.

"Husband?" she whispered, her voice hollow and broken. "Why are you sleeping here? It's too cold here... wake up. Let's go home." She stroked his icy cheek, her eyes devoid of light. "I promise I won't be angry anymore. I'll be the perfect wife. You wanted a daughter... I agree. I'll give you everything. Just open your eyes... please, this joke isn't funny anymore. Don't scare me like this."

Suddenly, Yuito's sister burst into the room. She shoved Luna aside with a cry of pure anguish. "Onii-chan! What happend to you?" She wailed, cradling his cold head against her chest crying. Then, she turned a look of venomous hatred toward Luna. "Why are you here? Get out! You killed him! Are you happy now? You're free now! Now get out and never let me see your face again!"

Luna fell to her knees as a memory from the previous week flashed through her mind.

"Luna, I love you so much," Yuito had said, his face pale and exhausted. "Maybe in the future, I won't be around to look after you. Take care of yourself, okay? I don't want to worry."

At the time, Luna had simply looked away, convinced it was just another act. Yuito had only sighed, saying nothing more.

After spending hours by Yuito's body, Luna finally went home in a taxi, unable to drive her own car. Her mind was a kaleidoscope of every moment they had shared over the years. She murmured softly "So the saying is true... you don't value what you have until it's gone."

She wept, wiping away her endless tears. When she arrived at the villa, she entered her darkened room. She picked up the envelope from the table and stared at the inheritance documents.

"What is the point of any of this now that you aren't by my side?"

Luna looked out the window, crying in the silence. Feeling the bite of the night air, she shivered and whispered, "It's so dark and cold outside. Yuito, how am I supposed to live without you now? Come back, husband... don't leave me alone."

She walked into Yuito's room. In the five years since they had married; they had always slept in separate rooms. She lay down on his bed and pulled a pillow to her chest, breathing in the scent of him that still lingered there.

...

Ten years had passed since Yuito's death. During those long, hollow years, Luna lived like a ghost. She never remarried, she buried herself in her work as the CEO of the empire he left behind. She discovered that silence was her greatest enemy whenever she stopped working, the memories of how she had once hurt her husband would rush in, threatening to drive her mad. Now, she stood in the cemetery, replacing the withered flowers on his grave with fresh ones."Yuito... today marks fifteen years since we were married," she whispered, her voice trembling. "It has been ten years since you left me. Don't you think it's finally time for us to see each other again? I can't bear to live another day without you."A tear fell onto the cold marble. "I know what I'm about to do would make you angry, but if I stay here any longer without you, I'll lose my mind."With steady, desperate hands, Luna reached into her bag and pulled out a handful of pills. She swallowed them all without hesitation. Slumping against his headstone, she wrapped her arms around the cold rock as if she were embracing him one last time."Today, we will finally be reunited, husband. I have missed you so much."Luna closed her eyes, surrendering to the darkness, waiting for death to carry her back to her husband side. But just as her breath began to fail, a glowing window flickered into existence before her fading vision:[Do you regret? Do you wish to see him again?]

[ YES / NO ]

[Congratulations, Host! You have completed the first world. Final Grade: 8/10]

[Rewards: 10 million dollars]

[Charm: +10]

[Talent: Finance Mastery] Yuito took a deep, steady breath. "Finally, that first world is finished. That wretched disease tortured me for an entire year. System, what world are we heading to this time?"[Host, in the second world, you will enter the Naruto Universe. You will play the role of Jiraiya until the moment of his death.]

[After this mission, you will be granted a chance to return to the real world before starting the third world.]"So, I'm not the villain this time?" Yuito let out a sigh of relief. "It was so hard acting like a villain."In his previous life, there were moments when he had to strike his own employees for no reason at all. Once, an old man accidentally hit his sport car with his bicycle; the plot forced Yuito to demand compensation, strike the man, and threaten him. He felt lucky that the protagonist, Kaito, appeared out of nowhere to save the old man. The very next day, Yuito had secretly sent one of his men to give the old man enough money to cover his medical bills.

"Alright, System. Let's begin."

...

The legendary Sannin, Jiraiya, who had been peeking at the women's bath through a small hole in the wall, suddenly froze. A moment later, his expression shifted into one of seriousness."System, at what point in the plot am I?"

[Host, you are currently in the Tanzaku Town arc.]

[Your mission: Bring Tsunade back to the village to become the Fifth Hokage.]

[Reward- Rinnegan (notification you can only use it in the real world)]

"Hmm, that's good. At first, I thought I'd be forced to start as a child. And this reward is awesome with rinnegan I will be invicible in my world"Yuito, now inhabiting Jiraiya's body, looked around and realized he was at the women's onsen. "Haha, I used to love these 'Jiraiya moments' when I watched the anime... but I can't actually follow through with his habits. It's too embarrassing. System, do I have to behave exactly like the original?"

[Yes, Host. To avoid disturbing the timeline, I recommend you follow the plot as closely as possible.]

Jiraiya sighed, "Okay, I'll try." Glancing back at the peephole, he was momentarily stunned by the view. "Hehehe... how beautiful... so big... hehehe!" In that instant, Yuito finally understood the original Jiraiya. After another half hour of 'research Jiraya pleasures,' he finally made his exit.Back at the inn, Naruto was fuming. "That Pervy Sage has been gone for four hours! Where did he go? He told me this morning he'd help me train!"

"Naruto, what's with that face?" Jiraiya asked, sliding the door open to find his disciple looking murderous."Pervy Sage, you jerk! Where were you? You promised to help me master the Rasengan today!""Haha, sorry Naruto, but this old sage was busy with some very important research," Jiraiya laughed, scratching the back of his head."You pervert! I bet you were just spying on women at the onsen again!"Jiraiya looked at the blonde boy and smiled. In person, Naruto seems even more dim-witted than in the anime. "Let's go, Naruto. I've found Tsunade."Naruto gritted his teeth, but hearing that they had found the person they came for, he huffed and turned his head. "Hmph."

Jiraiya walked casually down the street with Naruto trailing behind. As they approached a casino, a woman's raised voice echoed from inside. "You bastard, what did you say? You afraid I won't pay you back?!"Jiraiya chuckled and stepped inside. There was Tsunade, holding the casino manager by his collar."Tsunade-sama, you've already borrowed two million Ryo! I'm sorry, but we cannot extend your credit any further!""NANIIII?!" Tsunade slammed her fist onto a table, spider-webbing the wood.Shizune grabbed her shoulder, desperate. "Let's go, Tsunade-sama! That's enough for today, please don't cause any more trouble!""Yo, Tsunade! It's been a while!"Tsunade released the middle-aged man and turned her head. "Jiraiya? What are you doing here?"

"Can't a comrade just pay a visit?" Jiraiya looked at her the woman the original Jiraiya had loved his entire life. Yuito realized that in both worlds he inhabited, his characters had messy romantic histories. "Tsunade, let's head to a bar. I have something important to tell you."Tsunade looked at him with narrowed, curious eyes. "Fine."Shizune sighed in relief that Tsunade had calmed down. "Lord Jiraiya, it's good to see you," she said politely. Jiraiya nodded and began leading the way to a nearby tavern, with Tsunade, Shizune, and Naruto following.Tsunade glanced at the blonde kid walking beside Jiraiya. "Jiraiya, who is this brat?""His name is Naruto Uzumaki," Jiraiya replied shortly. Her eyes clouded with a complex swirl of emotions. "I see... so that kid is..."Naruto beamed and gave a cheeky grin. "Hi, Granny! Nice to meet ya! The name's Naruto!"A massive vein popped on Tsunade's temple. "Brat... what did you just call me?"Naruto looked at her, confused. "I said, Obaa-chan, nice to me—"He didn't finish the sentence as Tsunade buried a fist into the top of his head. Yuito felt a shiver run down his spine, remembering the legendary beatings the original Jiraiya used to take. I need to stay far away from this woman in the future, he thought, his eyes inadvertently drifting toward her chest. They're great, but they aren't worth my life.Tsunade felt his gaze and snapped, "You old pervert! Where do you think you're looking?"Caught off guard, Jiraiya panicked. He spotted a beautiful young woman further down the street and pointed frantically. "Hmph! I was looking at her! You don't actually think this Great Sage would be interested in an old woman's chest, do you?"Tsunade turned and saw the girl she was indeed beautiful—but hearing Jiraiya's comment made her face go dark. In a blur of a Body Flicker, she appeared directly in front of him.POOOOOH!Jiraiya's eyes nearly bulged out of his head as her fist sank into his stomach. He went flying, crashing hard into a nearby wall."Hmph," Tsunade grunted, turning her head and continuing to walk. After a few moments, Jiraiya and Naruto both picked themselves up, looking at her with genuine terror. In that moment, Yuito made a silent vow: From now on, I'm staying away from this brute women. I don't care how the original Jiraiya felt... that guy must have been a total masochist.
