Author's Note: This is the last chapter of what I promised! If you want more, let's either hit 300k views—I'll obviously keep posting chapters, just not as fast as these 3 I gave you; I need inspiration, you know?—or let's hit 300 Power Stones. Two options, though you guys really surprised me. Also, leave your reviews and share this so more people can check out this story I literally created out of pure boredom. Without further ado...
Let's get into it:
"It's been a minute since I ate like this," I muttered to myself as I stuffed my face to the absolute absolute limit. Some thugs I had already mind-controlled had a feast ready for me that could easily last three months. Why so much food? Well, I'm creating the materials for a second bomb. With Momo's memories on hand, the process of recreating a second one is nothing short of fascinating. Plus, I want to bomb an area packed with crime: Yokohama. And honestly, I look like a fat raccoon with the amount of food I'm inhaling while creating these materials. Imagine Momo, but fatter than IAMPE3, LMAO.
After I finished processing the materials, I started casting spells on everything to give it my essence—it always has to have my essence. As I enchanted it, I added blood and all the previous incantations, except this time I'm doing it calmly. Plus, all the essence from the future victims will go straight into the pit from my previous bomb, so I'll just have to go there and feast once everything blows up.
I spent a few hours grinding away until a call on my phone snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I muttered to myself, looking at my notifications.
"I have the guy. You coming?" the text read. It was Giran. I let out a shit-eating grin as I stood up and shifted back into Eri's appearance. As I transformed, you could see my skin was pretty messed up, mostly due to that defective fusion from before. I checked my hands, my chest, my back in the mirror, my feet, and my face. Every single inch of me had stretch marks, but they were bloody, cracked, and hideous.
I carefully touched my face, fixing my features just enough so I wouldn't raise any suspicions—well, not too many. Honestly, I wanted them to see exactly why I needed that Quirk, so they'd let their guard down seeing me so worn out.
I threw my clothes on immediately, since I had been naked before due to how massive the materials I was making were. See, the bomb I'm putting together right now is twice as powerful as the first one.
I could feel my body reaching its absolute limit, but I couldn't have cared less. The pain from the bloody stretch marks was annoying, but nothing my mind couldn't override. I adjusted the oversized clothes to cover the cracks in my skin and walked outside, stepping into the freezing night air.
Before leaving, I made sure everything was locked down. I ordered a few guards under my control to watch the apartment area. I also sent a direct mental command to the mutants I left in the Deika area; their minds, linked to mine, received a clear message not to let anyone enter the radioactive zone. That pit was still my ultimate source of power.
Putting that aside, I propelled myself into the air and began flying through the skies, staying hidden among the clouds. While flying, I pulled out my phone to check the news. The usual stuff: UA was getting absolutely roasted from all sides, and public opinion was eating them alive. But one detail caught my eye. Apparently, a student had been injured because of Stain, the Hero Killer.
"Well, looks like we're getting close to the next arcs," I thought. According to my calculations, we were currently in the Internship Arc. After that comes the UA Final Exams, and then the Forest Training Camp.
Those future arcs were a literal goldmine for me. I've been seriously thinking about the Quirks I'm going to harvest when the time comes:
The invisible girl's (Toru Hagakure), for obvious reasons, to move around completely undetected.
The mushroom girl's (Kinoko Komori) from Class B; if I can mutate those mushrooms with my magic and radiation, I could spread apocalyptic plagues in seconds.
The one who can split her body parts (Setsuna Tokage), perfect for always having an escape route if things get ugly.
And of course, Shoto Todoroki. His Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk has stupidly high destructive potential. But why stop there? I could go after his brother, Dabi, and even Endeavor again. Honestly, the entire freaking Todoroki family. If I absorb and fuse all those ice and fire Quirks combined with my green magic... just how strong will I be? I'd be an unstoppable monstrosity.
Done with my schizophrenic thoughts, I let out a dry laugh and landed heavily on a rooftop near the meeting point with Giran, waiting for the guy to text me that the person was ready.
While I waited on the roof, with the night wind whipping my hoodie, I kept scrolling through my phone, watching the hero world fall apart. The headlines were beautiful: "Heroes Fall," "Numerous Pros Announce Early Retirement," "The Symbol of Peace Rarely Seen on the Streets." Society's fear of Stain and the chaos I planted at UA were cracking the pillars of this false peace.
I shoved my phone into my pocket when I felt Giran's text buzz, confirming he already had the surgeon tied up downstairs. I smirked with a shit-eating grin, waiting for someone to arrive.
Two hours passed. Two freaking hours of me sitting there on the roof, freezing my ass off in the night wind, while that son of a bitch Giran still hadn't shown up with the guy. Three black veins of pure rage popped on my forehead. "I'm gonna torture him before I absorb him, I swear to God I'm going to skin him alive," I thought, clenching my fists as the last bit of my patience evaporated.
To keep from losing my mind with rage, I leaned back against a rooftop vent and decided to map out the surroundings. I let my eyes go completely green, activating that mystical vision that lets me sense souls and energy at a disgustingly deep level.
That's when I picked him up. Someone was watching me from another roof about fifty yards away. His posture looked pretty nervous, like some low-level, trash spy, but that front didn't fool me for a second. When I locked my perception onto him, I felt a massive, staggering amount of chaos. The guy carried a history of atrocities that made that pedo Sora from earlier look like a helpless kitten compared to a German Shepherd, LMAO.
After fully locking onto his presence and confirming he wasn't a hero, I slowly turned my head and stared right at him through the darkness. The guy, noticing my green eyes locking onto him despite the distance, simply nodded and gave me a sidelong glance, making a subtle gesture with his shoulder, expecting me to move over to his spot.
I wasn't about to walk. I used my material control Quirk to merge directly into the concrete floor; I slid like a liquid shadow through the building's structure and emerged from the pavement right in front of him in a couple of seconds. What a great Quirk, seriously—the escape routes this thing is gonna give me in the future are going to be a masterpiece.
The man jumped back in shock, his eyes widening, but he quickly composed his posture, brushing it off and letting out a puff of air.
"Are you Eri?" the guy asked, keeping his hands shoved in his pants pockets and sizing me up.
I just nodded, keeping my mouth shut. I wanted to see what the hell he wanted to do and what kind of game he was playing.
"Alright... so what's your issue?" he asked again, his voice dripping with deep irritation, like being here was a waste of his time.
Remembering I had to play along to make him lower his guard and unleash his Quirk, I didn't say a word; I simply grabbed the hem of my oversized hoodie and lifted my shirt, exposing my torso.
When the man saw what was underneath, he was a bit taken aback. Through our mental link, I instantly caught a flash of pure greed in his head, but seeing the severity of my injuries, that greed almost completely fizzled out... and when I say almost, it's because a tiny bit of that twisted mindset was still lingering.
"Damn... who did a number on you, kid?" he asked with a mix of morbid curiosity and disgust, pointing at my skin.
Underneath the clothes, my entire body was wrecked. The bloody stretch marks looked like open trenches in the girl's flesh, oozing that gooey green glow and burning the edges of the living tissue. It was a grotesque sight.
I just shook my head with faked timidity, looking up at him with wide eyes, acting exactly like the vessel I appeared to be.
"Alright..." the guy said, letting out an annoyed sigh as he slowly stepped toward me. "I need to touch you to help you, you know?" he continued, though in his mind, his intentions were as dark as any lowlife scum from the underworld.
I let him step closer. I didn't move a single millimeter as he closed the distance and reached out his right hand, placing it directly on my head. My millennial mind was already savoring the moment; I let him touch my forehead, waiting to see how his biological power activated before I snapped his legs with a single strike.
"Look, kid, if you want me to fix up this pretty little body of yours, we could make a better deal. You know this stuff I do isn't permanent, you'd have to keep coming back, and well..." he muttered, his voice oozing that disgusting greed.
As for me, I just looked up at him with Eri's innocent eyes, blinking slowly, while inside my head I was already breaking down a thousand different ways to torture him. The bastard thought he held all the cards. How delusional.
"Stop," I said.
In a blink, my eyes turned completely green, glowing with the cold light of death.
The man's face instantly twisted into a mask of absolute panic. With a simple flash of my magic, I had completely paralyzed his body's movements, freezing him dead in his tracks while keeping him perfectly conscious.
I slowly walked around him, enjoying the sound of his ragged breathing. The guy started breaking into a cold sweat looking at me, feeling the oppressive mystical energy radiating off my body; his brain was processing at warp speed the terror of not knowing at what exact moment he had crossed paths with such a monster. After circling him a few times, I stopped right in front of him and put my hands to my cheeks, flashing an innocent smile that contrasted dantesquely with the situation.
I unblocked his mouth with a subtle flick of my fingers, giving him just the bare minimum of speech so he could only whisper.
"What... what what are you gonna do?" he managed to stammer, staring at me with bloodshot eyes, completely lost between utter confusion and pure dread.
I cupped my face with that same innocent smile. My fingers dug into the edges of my flesh cheeks, slowly applying pressure.
"Wait... wait!" he pleaded, his eyes bursting wide open.
Ignoring him entirely, I began to slowly rip my own face off. The guy watched the scene, unable to let out a loud scream or move a single inch, his skin turning so pale he looked like he was about to pass out from pure psychological shock. I peeled the entire layer of flesh off my face with my own hands, pulling hard until my original skull was exposed to the air.
"Hahaha! Hahaha!" I burst out laughing. The Lich's skeletal jaw moved in a dry, raspy, ghostly laugh that echoed across the entire roof.
The guy was absolutely terrified, shaking internally. I slowly leaned toward him, tilting my bare skull until I was right next to his ear to whisper. I stayed in dead silence for a few seconds, letting the psychological horror do its job; the guy was stiffer than a dead rat in a ditch.
"Thank you, Linyu. That Quirk will do nicely," I whispered to him.
Without giving him time to process his final seconds of sanity, I bit his ear and tore it off in a single wrench. The guy opened his mouth and tried to scream with all his might, but due to the block, he could only let out a tiny, muffled squeak. With total calmness, I ate the ear right in front of his eyes, chewing the flesh while he watched my bone jaw grind down his own cartilage.
After that, I stepped closer to him and wrapped my arms around him in a cold, fatal embrace.
"Thank you, Linyu. Say hi to Hunson Abadeer for me," I said with a sinister chuckle.
I activated my energy, and our bodies began to fuse. The last moments of that miserable bastard's existence were spent staring face-to-face at a burning skull wrapped in his own blood.
The process was violent. Since I didn't have the biological space for any more normal assimilations in this vessel, I had to force the fusion through pure magical power. For a few seconds, you could see my physiology mutate violently, inflating and warping until I turned into a massive, grotesque monster, looking a lot like a muscular Nomu. But the distortion didn't last long; thanks to the Organic Restructuring Quirk I had just assimilated, I took total control of my biology. The mass of that giant body began to rapidly drop, compressing itself, while the painful, bloody cracks on my chest and limbs closed up and vanished completely.
I stood still for a moment, my skull still exposed to the open air, and began to slowly stretch to test my new, stable anatomy.
"Damn... it's been a minute since I felt this free," I exclaimed, feeling the aches of the torn tissue completely evaporate.
Looking down, I realized I was missing my clothes; the oversized hoodie had been shredded into a thousand pieces due to the expansion from the forced fusion. Shrugging it off, I opened my pocket dimension, pulled out a fresh set of clothes, stretched a bit more, and put them on.
"Now I can finally optimize myself even further," I said with an internal smile.
I concentrated the new Quirk, and smoothly, the flesh, muscles, and skin began to regenerate over my head, covering the bone perfectly. Once the skull was fully covered, Eri's face reappeared, but now she looked way more relaxed, flawless, and without a single one of those annoying, bloody cracks.
I stretched one last time, enjoying the lightness of a truly optimized body. Without looking back, I took to the sky, losing myself among the night clouds as I resumed my way to keep creating my mutagenic nuclear bombs.
End of Chapter 13.
