Now Vael would rather choke on his own saliva than ask any woman he had slept with to be his Luna. He saw women as a tool for sexual gratification. He saw them as unworthy of his love or affection. He saw them as entitled. They wanted things from him: his title, his money, his status. None of them wanted him. That was what he believed. And that belief had made his life harder than he would ever admit.
"You're early," Vael said.
"I live to obey my Alpha," Theon said. His voice dripped with sarcasm.
Theon walked toward him and held out a small paper bag. Vael took it and looked inside. A new phone. An iPhone, the latest model from what he could tell.
"I made sure to follow your instructions," Theon said. "The model is in vogue right now."
