Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 Megumi Fushiguro

By the time he was led out the door by Satoru Gojo, Kagura Shin suddenly felt a wave of embarrassment, as if waking from a dream. He stole a glance at Satoru Gojo and only breathed a sigh of relief when he found that the other had no intention of mocking him.

"By the way, Gojo-sensei who can I ask for help if I want to buy some things? Just so you know, the things I want to buy might be very miscellaneous a bit of everything so it might be difficult for me to purchase them all quickly on my own."

"Hmm... that is indeed a problem. I'll have someone from the Gojo Family help you purchase what you need. You can make a list, writing down the item names and required quantities. Go back to the dormitory and wash up first; I'll contact you shortly."

Kagura Shin looked at his tattered, blood-stained clothes and nodded in full agreement.

...

After taking a shower and changing into clean clothes, Kagura Shin sat at his desk and began making a list. He planned to collect everything that could be found in the real world except for precious items like gold. With his current financial resources, he couldn't even afford a single gold block (approximately 238 kg).

"Buy one ton of iron first; unlocking Iron Ingots means everything else related to iron will also be unlocked. Then buy a bit of every food item in Minecraft. Purchase one cubic meter of every type of wood that can be found in the real world, like Birch Wood and so on. Also, buy one cubic meter of every common type of rock found in reality... and..."

Nearly two hours passed without him noticing. Satoru Gojo had already been standing behind Kagura Shin for quite a while, watching, before he finally couldn't help but speak.

"Shin, although these things are very common, isn't there a bit too much variety? And do you even have enough money?"

Kagura Shin's hand suddenly froze. He turned to Satoru Gojo and flashed a flattering smile.

"Handsome and beloved Gojo-sensei... um... could I borrow some money? I'll definitely pay you back once I start going on missions."

Satoru Gojo seemed to think of something and suddenly revealed a chilling smile. He quickly reached out, grabbed the sheets of paper from Kagura Shin's hand, took a photo, and sent it to someone unknown. Then, he waved his hand nonchalantly.

"Of course you can. In fact, you don't even need to pay me back. Just help me with a 'few' missions when you're strong enough in the future."

Kagura Shin naturally knew that the "few" missions Satoru Gojo mentioned would definitely not be just a few, but he really needed the money to unlock his items. This was the only way to increase his chances of obtaining items that didn't exist in the real world.

"Alright, Gojo-sensei. I will definitely work hard to complete the missions you assign in the future."

Kagura Shin said this almost through gritted teeth. Satoru Gojo laughed in satisfaction, patted Kagura Shin on the back, and left.

Because the items Kagura Shin requested were so miscellaneous, it took nearly a week even for the Gojo Family to deliver everything to Jujutsu High. During these days, Kagura Shin was either being unilaterally beaten by Satoru Gojo or constantly punching blocks to unlock items—living on an extremely tight schedule.

Until this day, with the arrival of a sea-urchin-haired boy...

"Hi hi~ let me introduce you. This is Megumi Fushiguro, a first-year enrolling this year. This is Kagura Shin, a fellow first-year. There's also a first-year girl who will arrive a few months later. There are only three first-years this year."

As he spoke, Satoru Gojo led the two of them to the training ground.

"Alright, enough with verbal introductions. You two will have a real fight. Don't hold back on missions, you can only trust each other if you understand each other's strength, right?"

Megumi Fushiguro and Kagura Shin glanced at each other and both agreed. Kagura Shin quickly created distance from Megumi Fushiguro, since he knew Megumi lacked strong long-range attack methods.

"Divine Dogs, Nue!"

Megumi Fushiguro immediately summoned two types of shikigami. It wasn't that he didn't want to summon more this was already the maximum number of types the Ten Shadows Technique could maintain simultaneously.

Megumi rushed toward Kagura Shin alongside the Divine Dogs, while Nue dove down from above amidst crackling lightning.

A TNT Block suddenly appeared in Kagura Shin's left hand, while his right hand held a Flint and Steel. With a light strike, the TNT Block began flashing with white light.

"Go! I choose you!"

The TNT flew toward Megumi Fushiguro with a sharp whistling sound. In just a few seconds, Kagura Shin built a Granite box around himself.

He left a single block open in front for observation. Nue's dive slammed directly into the Granite ceiling, causing it to stagger.

"Boom!"

Although Megumi Fushiguro had already sensed danger and dodged instinctively with the Divine Dogs, he didn't expect the TNT to deal area-of-effect damage. The shockwave blasted him straight to the ground.

A large crater about four meters wide was left in the training ground.

After landing, Megumi Fushiguro quickly rolled back to his feet. But in that brief moment, Kagura Shin had already stepped out of the Granite box, holding a Fishing Rod, which he swung forcefully at Megumi Fushiguro to hook him in.

Megumi Fushiguro felt a sharp pain in his shoulder before realizing he was being forcibly pulled toward Kagura Shin.

Just as he was about to be dragged right in front of him, a Birch Wood Plank block appeared in Kagura Shin's other hand and smashed toward him.

Birch Wood Planks were high-density wood that Kagura Shin had deliberately chosen. The weight was moderate it wouldn't kill instantly, but the damage would certainly be severe.

"Crack~"

Even though Megumi Fushiguro channeled most of his Cursed Energy into his arms for defense, he was still sent flying, his bones fracturing from the impact.

"Poof~"

Nue and the Divine Dogs immediately turned into shadows and returned to Megumi Fushiguro's shadow.

"Great Serpent!"

A Great Serpent surged up from below, carrying Kagura Shin into midair, attempting to bite him in half. An Iron Sword appeared in Kagura Shin's hand, and he swung it downward with full force.

To Satoru Gojo and Megumi Fushiguro, it looked as if the Great Serpent had charged directly into the Iron Sword, splitting itself cleanly into two halves.

Kagura Shin fell rapidly from about twenty meters in the air, seemingly about to crash into the ground.

While instinctively reinforcing his body with Cursed Energy, a Water Bucket appeared in his right hand.

"Water... Bucket Landing!"

A stylish Water Bucket Landing left his blood churning from the impact, and the water he poured out even made him choke. Fortunately, it wasn't serious, and he would recover quickly.

"Cough, cough, cough..."
