Location : Seoul Metropolitan Police Station
Detective Lee Seoyeon stares at it motionless.
Beside her stands Park Jisung, along with the rest of the team.
"Who is this guy?" an officer whispers.
Seoyeon slowly lowers the phone.
"This isn't a prank anymore." Her voice is cold, but there's a suppressed tension beneath it. "Whoever this is… he knows everything before we even move."
Jisung stands silently.
Seoyeon turns around and says—
"Tell the Cyber team. I want to know who is sending these messages and where they're coming from."
---
Cyber Unit
A few minutes later—
"Ma'am… we can't trace it," an analyst says.
Seoyeon frowns. "What do you mean?"
"The number is masked. Location is spoofed. The signal has been bounced through multiple relays… practically untraceable."
Silence fills the room.
Seoyeon slowly says—
"Meaning… he's playing with us."
---
🌑 Unknown Room
Darkness.
No door. No window.
A sealed, locked room.
On the floor lies a man—Min Soo.
His breathing is becoming heavy.
"Hah… hah…"
A sharp perfume scent drifts to his nose.
Strange… intense.
His eyes widen.
"No…"
His body begins to tremble.
He tries to sit up, but can't.
He can't breathe.
A scene blurs before his eyes—
Blood…
A body lying on the floor…
Han Sooyoung…
And that scent—
This exact scent.
"No… no… NO!"
He tries to scream—
But no sound comes out.
His eyes begin to roll back—
CUT!
---
Min Soo's Room – Morning
Suddenly—
Min Soo jolts upright.
Gasping.
His body is drenched in sweat.
He sits silently for a moment.
Then slowly runs a hand over his face.
"…A dream."
He lets out a deep sigh.
But the fear still lingers in his eyes.
---
Café – Morning
Min Soo freshens up and comes downstairs.
He sees—
Lee Siho and his mother setting food on the table.
Siho smiles—
"Hyung, we're having breakfast together today!"
Min Soo pauses for a moment.
Then he gives a faint smile.
"All this preparation?"
Siho's mother steps forward and says—
"You're like family to us. Sometimes we should eat together."
Min Soo says nothing.
He just sits down.
The meal continues.
An ordinary, peaceful morning.
But that scent still swirls inside his head.
---
After Breakfast
Siho slings his bag over his shoulder and says—
"I'm going to class."
"Go safely," Min Soo says.
Siho's mother smiles and says—
"Make sure you eat properly. Don't overwork yourself."
Min Soo nods.
---
Café – Noon
As soon as the café opens, customers start arriving.
Min Soo makes coffee quickly, flawlessly.
His coffee has a reputation in this area.
"Best americano in Gangnam," a customer says.
Min Soo just smiles faintly.
---
Bell Rings
The door opens and Lee Seoyeon walks in.
There's no smile on her face today.
She goes straight to the counter and stands there.
Min Soo says— "Americano?"
Seoyeon shakes her head. "Not today."
Min Soo pauses for a moment. "Something wrong?"
Seoyeon looks directly at him.
"That factory yesterday… do you know anything?"
For a second, Min Soo pauses.
Then, in a normal tone, he says— "That place has been closed for a long time. People don't go there."
Seoyeon holds his gaze. "You live around that area."
"Right."
"Did you see anything suspicious?"
Min Soo shakes his head. "No."
Just then—
Seoyeon's phone rings.
"Jisung?"
---
Phone Call
"There are no CCTV cameras around the factory," Jisung says.
Seoyeon is shocked. "Impossible…"
"There were inside cameras, but they were disabled before the incident."
Seoyeon's face hardens.
"Meaning… he planned everything in advance…"
Jisung continues— "And the neighbors… no one saw anything. The place is completely empty at night."
Seoyeon falls silent.
"Get me the details," she says.
---
Back to the Café
Seoyeon lowers her phone.
Min Soo is watching her.
"Something serious?"
Seoyeon slowly says— "Whoever it is… they're very careful."
Min Soo smiles faintly. "Everyone gets caught eventually."
Seoyeon stares at him. "Not everyone."
Their eyes meet.
A strange tension hangs in the air.
---
Night – Bar District, Seoul
Loud music blares.
A bar—inside, dancing, drinking, chaos.
The door opens and a man stumbles out.
A tattoo on his neck.
Bloodshot eyes.
His steps are unsteady.
"Damn… had too much tonight…"
He laughs to himself and keeps walking.
He enters an alley.
Darkness surrounds him.
Desolate.
Suddenly—
A shadow appears behind him.
Black hoodie. Cap. Mask.
Walking slowly.
The man doesn't notice anything.
He stumbles and stops.
"Who…?"
He looks back.
No one there.
He starts walking again.
This time—
The shadow is closer.
Under the dim streetlight, eyes become visible—
Cold.
Steady.
And in those eyes—
A sinister smile.
Min Soo.
---
🔚 Cliffhanger
The darkness in the alley grows thicker.
In the distance, a dog barks.
The man stops.
Behind him—
Footsteps.
Thud... Thud... Thud...
