Why did I look like I did when I was 17? Instead of freaking out, his mind settled, throughout these 4 or so hours i had been inside of this new world, he was still wondering how that beam of light worked. He finally figured it out! Instead of being like a teleporter, something he saw in the news was being tested a few weeks before being transported, it made more sense using this logic! Yeah, he had to be right!
Instead of his concept of him being teleported, it made more sense that his body was reconfigured! Broken down at a molecular level, and reassembled somewhere else, like what you might do for furniture if it's too big for a door. Now that he was done with this train of thought, he started walking bad to his little area thinking the entire time. 'Just what sort of knowledge did they use for them to reconfigure me elsewhere. Wait… why am I glossing over the fact that it happened to me!'
As I walk into the part of the forest where I put my stuff, covered by the rocky jagged mountain, I glance over at a tree nearby, ripping off a vine, Setting it alongside the stones I set down earlier, before sitting down. "soul system"
"I was too distracted earlier when I realized it was tangible, I forgot to read the actual screens…"
[SYSTEM SIGN-UP - begin? YES / NO]
'This is quite broad, do I not get any more information?' I realized that as I've gotten tricked by Rylrith, I've started talking in my head more to avoid getting trapped by these things. But even with the safety of talking in my head, this one still activated, as it pulled up an information screen filled with details.
[SYSTEM SIGN-UP - EXTENDED AGREEMENT- This sign up will activate the tutorial of working the system, integrated for ease of use during the start of the 2nd generation, The only imprint put onto the user is location, this is only used for creators of the system, so if you alter source code than can deal with you.] 'Wow! Much more in depth, why didn't they just display this at the start?'
But this does question some things, like the second generation, just how many gens are there? Are we in a different generation than the 2nd?... I made a slight pause this time, almost hoping for another system menu to be pulled up, but I guess that's something I have to find out myself. "Yes, begin"
'although people having my location is a bit strange to me, the upside is probably gonna be much better, i mean, a hologram that displays just by me saying words? Who would pass up!'

"Oh, so it's just like a signup on a website? A lot easier than I thought it was gonna be…"
"Lika"
Wait, personality? But isn't that something that changes overtime until you're about 40? Whatever, it doesn't impact me. "For personality, polymath"

[PERSONALITY- POLYMATH- someone who has extensive knowledge that grows with all his interactions.]

'Quite strange, that definition is a little different than earth's, but it works even better for me.'
"Yes, submit"
[SIGN UP COMPLETE, THE SYSTEM GUIDE IS AVAILABLE BY INVOKING "GUIDE"]
Invoking? What does it mean to invoke something? Judging how this is something i was able to access this early, I'm guessing the common folk also get this early in there life, so its something that's available to all…
'I'm thinking of two possibilities in what invoking means… its rather that it means the power of your words, or its "voice" though to narrow it down, i can just speak the word to test the latter'
"Guide"
…
[GUIDE NOTES ADDED, INVOKE HOME PAGE TO SEE THE GUIDE NOTES.]
"Huh, I guess I was right, sweet! Home page."
Instead of the usual short sentences the system was giving me, this home page is quite full! My eyes going towards the yellow question mark, contrasting with the hues of blue on the hologram. Clicking the question mark in the top left switched from the empty space in the middle to a screen showing what appeared to be stats.

'Wait… aura density? Magica? Will? Are these some types of new technology? And how do I learn them? Dangit… I do have to talk with people, I have zero clue how these could work…'
This was the hardest thing to do growing up, when I didn't have access to the internet and I wanted an answer, and this times worse, I need an answer. If my assumptions are right, these are basic things people live with, there's no way they would put them under stats if they're things people considered basic knowledge. Meaning there needed for the world, kind of how electricity was needed to be a member of society in developed countries. "Well, I guess I should start to look for the closest town soon, but first let's get through the guide."
As the guide took much longer than i thought, i memorized the needed information, and recapped in my head, to make sure i got all relevant bits. 'So the guide was just telling me the basic information, all the tabs and what they do. I thought it was gonna be like a walkthrough, but it was just telling me how it worked…
Question mark is stats
The "store" button next to the question mark displays a pull down menu, showing a system store, and user stores next to it, a system store is used to get a new feature of your system, the upgrades aren't overpowered, they simply made life easier, something I very much appreciated. But the user shops seem to be shops that are made and run by people, and if you buy something it does the same thing as i did to get here, reassembles right in front of you.
The third symbol was an open book, although it only displayed one topic right now, it was basically a topic mastery, showing just how much of a topic I understood, the only thing popping up at the moment was Wilderness Survival, makes sense since that's all I've been doing so far, apparently I've displayed 20% of its "mastery"
The one next to the book was a map, right now it didn't show the layout of the land, only the directions, distance, and the location of towns.'
For as much information as it displayed, the navigation of the system itself is quite simple. "Let's see just how useful this map is. Lets start heading over to this town, ask if they have a teacher or someone who can explain these things better… Wait, do we speak the same language?"
I decided to leave a marker on the map for the location of this place, as it would be good to let me process these new concepts.
Looking back at the map on my system screen, I begin heading north, in the direction it says the closest human town is.
