I run as fast as my legs can move almost completely forgetting about my broken arm and ribs.
"GET HIM, he couldn't have gotten far"
As I slide past the corner I see a giant pile of hay
"FUCK IT, Im dead no matter what I do I just have to tell the captain about the traitors.
As jump into the hay pile I feel the hay stab in to my wounds but I have no time to scream as I see general Heimdoll and I start to thing about the mission I was sent on.
General Heimdoll his powers to See parts of the future made him a formidable opponent in battle and was a huge pain the ass for the dukedome so I was sent to eliminate him.
As I arrived I saw him ready as he already knew that I was coming.
I snuck past him and his army of demons and arrived at his bed chambers as I was planting the magic seals Heimdoll entered the room and a fight ensued which I lost.
I jumped out the window and landed rough and broke my arm and some ribs as I as I turn I see Heimdoll jumped after me as a chase ensued he shouted,
"Seems like everything Tory and Erica told me was true" hearing that I stopped in my tracks
Seeing me stop he stoped to as he began to tell me how every failed mission we have had in the past 2 years was thanks to them about how every single one of my friends who died was because of them about how my mother who was cut down during a mission to kill another general was all because of them.
I couldn't believe it Tory was my best friend he was there whenever no one else was and Erica was my wife she was the pillar of my strength she was the reason why I kept going in life though all of the battles of this bloody war.
I snap out of it as I hear Heimdoll walking towards me.
He stops right in front of the hay pile and he starts talking,
"Aaron you stupid fool, Erica never loved you she just married you for her family to keep their status she had always loved Tory, and Tory he never even thought of you as a friend he just saw you as a wall in the way of him and his love Erica"
This was the last straw as I jump out of the hay pile with my dagger ready to slit his throat however I feel a sharp gut wrenching pain in my chest. As I look down I see a sword in my chest and I feel the blood leaking from the wound soak my clothing.
I feel blood start to fill my mouth and I spit it at Heimdolls face as he throws me full force at the ground leaving a giant dent in the ground. He starts to walk way and my life starts to flash I think of my family my sister, my brother, my father, my mother, and my friends.
Then Tory and Erica as I think of all the memories, all the lies, all the failed missions, and all my dead comrades I feel my blood boil.
I use the last of my strength the scream "I WILL KILL YOU, I SWEAR ON MY HONOR AS THE DUKE'S SON I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU, I WILL CRAWL OUT OF THE DEPTHS OF HELL IF SO NEED BE."
As I finished shouting I cough blood and I feel the cold empty embrace of death as everything goes black I hear a strange voice "mission failed, regression protocol started"
